Our charity has grown rapidly over the last five years, with each year bringing new faces and new opportunities. This year, we’re excited to be welcoming a Fundraising Manager to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our CEO and operations team to deliver our annual fundraising targets, focusing on individual giving, trusts and foundations, and fundraising events/external opportunities. Partnerships are currently managed by the CEO and our Board of Trustees.

We have a fun, joyful working culture and work flexibly and mostly remotely, though you may occasionally need to attend meetings in London or travel for events. Our registered office is in Margate, so if you’re local or fancy a change of scene, you’re welcome to come and work by the sea.

As this is a new role for Not A Phase, we’re looking for someone confident, proactive and full of ideas. You’ll have the freedom to shape and implement your own systems and processes, with full support from the team.

As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you’ll help deliver engaging face-to-face and telephone fundraising campaigns to grow Dogs Trust’s supporter base. Working in our Public Fundraising team, you’ll play a key role in helping us care for thousands of dogs across the UK.
 

What does this role do?
As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you will: 

• respond to public enquiries, complaints, and donation updates related to face-to-face fundraising, ensuring all communications reflect the Dogs Trust brand, tone, and procedures.
• liaise with fundraising agencies to monitor campaign performance, resolve incidents or complaints, and ensure all campaign requirements are met.
• support quality assurance by reviewing mystery shop reports, visiting fundraising sites or agencies, and providing feedback to improve performance.
• assist with administrative and campaign support tasks, including managing fundraising materials, handling database queries, and helping with copy and proofing when required.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover contract until December 2026.

We are seeking our first Head of Fundraising to join our Senior Leadership Team, build the function and leave a legacy.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead on developing and delivering our fundraising strategy, with primary focus on trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, with the potential to grow individual philanthropy in the future.

You will be a key ambassador for the organisation, building and managing strong, long-term relationships with funders who share our mission. You’ll bring vision, strategic clarity and emotional intelligence to developing compelling cases for support, always ensuring alignment with organisational goals and understanding that for us, income is a vehicle to impact.

You’ll manage and develop one Senior Officer initially, with the possibility that we may be able to expand the team as income grows. The Senior Officer post is currently empty, so we hope that you’ll be able to be involved in the recruitment of this post enabling you to shape your own team. You’ll also play a wider role in shaping the organisation’s strategy and culture as part of a collaborative and ambitious leadership team.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy and Leadership

• Lead development and execution of a fundraising strategy focused on trusts,foundations and corporates (with a possible addition of individual philanthropy further down the line).
• Act as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to organisational strategy, planning and culture, and supporting the Chief Executive to report to the board on fundraising.
• Manage, develop and grow the Senior Officer role; build a high-performing team.

Fundraising and Relationship Management

• Create and manage a pipeline of funding opportunities, securing multi-year grants and strategic partnerships that support our research, policy and delivery ambitions, and reflect our values.
• Lead the development of major funding bids - including drafting proposals and coordinating input from SLT colleagues and other relevant team members.
• Cultivate, steward and deepen relationships with existing and prospective funders, acting as a confident and credible ambassador.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop strong proposals, cases for support and pitch materials, including engaging in depth with some of the complex research that we seek to fund.
• Represent the organisation externally — in meetings, networks and events.

Innovation, Growth and Sustainability

• Develop and test models to diversify income to enable impact – building on our current strategy, but bringing an open mind to exploring new activities.
• Embed fundraising monitoring, evaluation and performance reporting into the organisation; ensure transparency with senior leadership and trustees.
• Maintain close alignment between fundraising strategy and organisational strategy, ensuring funder relationships are ethical, values-aligned and sustainable.

Essential

• A proven track record of securing significant income from trusts, foundations and/or corporate partners.
• Experience in managing complex relationships with funders, with excellent stewardship and retention skills.
• Experience of running reliable due diligence processes to assess funding opportunities.
• Able to translate research, policy or innovation-led programmes into compelling funding propositions.
• Excellent project management skills, including the capacity to coordinate colleagues in developing complex fundraising bids.
• Some experience of line management, team development or mentoring.
• Excellent written, verbal and influencing skills, able to engage funders, senior leaders and colleagues.
• Strategic mindset, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• A genuine passion for the mission of the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, and the empathy to engage with lived experience perspectives.
• Alignment with our collaborative and flexible working culture — able to work in a high-trust environment, collaborate openly with colleagues across multiple teams and contribute positively to team wellbeing and culture.

Desirable

• Experience of major donor fundraising, or exploring new income streams.
• Experience of reporting to a board, including of producing high level board papers and working with high profile stakeholders.
• Knowledge or networks within the essential services, health, research, policy or grant-giving sectors.

Terms:

• Reporting to: Chief Executive
• Staff supervised: One team member, who we hope you will be able to be involved in recruiting
• Annual Gross Salary: £64,800 (employees who are not London-based receive the same salary, including London weighting, but cover their own travel costs to the office, typically twice a month)
• Location: Either London-based, with two days per week in Money and Mental Health’s East London office, or home-based with the ability to travel to London at least twice per month. The role will also require some travel for meetings.
• Hours: Both full-time and part-time applicants considered, at a minimum of four days per week. Job shares, consolidated hours and other flexible working arrangements will be considered. Please indicate your preferred working hours on application.
• Contract type: Permanent
• Holidays: 28 days per year (including 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed), plus bank holidays

JRS UK is recruiting two full-time Fundraising and Communications Officers as part of our Communications, Fundraising, and Advocacy team. 2. Digital and Offline communications:

 • Develop content for JRS UK’s website, newsletters, and social media – scoping and drafting content that champion refugee voices, shares our work, or engages supporters in our advocacy

• Analyse web traffic and social media engagement to inform future activity

3. Appeals:

 • Support the delivery of JRS UK’s three direct-mail appeals (Advent, Lent, World Day of Migrants and Refugees) and our annual legacy appeal by:

            o Researching and drafting content

            o Curating and segmenting data

            o Sourcing and producing visuals

4. Trust fundraising

• Steward relationships with some small and medium sized trusts

• Draft and submit grant applications and reports

The African Gifted Foundation (AGF) exists to develop Africa's future STEM leaders by supporting gifted young women to access world-class education. Our flagship project, the African Science Academy (ASA) in Ghana, is a fully-scholarshipped boarding school focused on mathematics and physics, with students drawn from across Africa.

The Opportunity

As Head of Fundraising, you'll be a key member of our senior leadership team, shaping strategy and driving income growth to transform opportunities for hundreds more young African women in STEM.

In your first year, you'll:

• Take ownership of our £1m fundraising portfolio and develop a clear growth strategy

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and deliver a compelling fundraising strategy aligned with AGF's growth ambitions
• Set ambitious but achievable income targets and manage performance against them
• Provide clear metrics, insights and recommendations to the Executive Director and Board
• Identify opportunities for income diversification and risk mitigation

Major Donor & Partnership Management

• Manage and grow our portfolio of major donors, trusts, foundations and corporate partners
• Personally cultivate and steward high-value relationships
• Identify and pursue new funding prospects through research and networking
• Develop compelling cases for support tailored to different donor segments

Operational Excellence

• Establish and maintain effective systems for pipeline management, CRM and donor tracking

• Create compelling donor materials and impact reports, working collaboratively with communications, programmes and finance teams 
• Take responsibility for collecting compelling impact data, including through liaising with alumni

• Represent AGF at donor meetings, events and in philanthropic networks (UK and occasionally international)

Essential Experience & Skills

✓ Proven track record of strategic fundraising in the UK charity sector, with demonstrable success in securing five-figure+ gifts from trusts, foundations and major donors

✓ Relationship builder with excellent ability to engage, persuade and steward high-value donors at senior levels (trustees, HNWIs, corporate decision-makers)

✓ Strategic thinker who can develop compelling fundraising strategies and turn them into practical action plans with measurable results

✓ Portfolio manager experienced in managing multiple major donor relationships simultaneously and building a robust pipeline

We’re looking for a Senior New Partnerships Manager, who will focus on generating new corporate partnerships to help us grow our income, a critical part of our organisational strategy.

What does this role do?
As Senior New Partnerships Manager, you’ll:

• delve into untapped markets and pro-actively identify opportunities for us to grow our income from multi-year corporate partnerships,
• develop a plan for growth for partnerships in the £10k to £50k range including regional partnerships, forming a key element of the wider corporate strategy,
• work collaboratively across the division to deliver the wider strategy, from cross-team working to sharing learnings and best practice,
• line manage a New Partnerships Manager, providing day-to-day support, as well as coaching and ongoing professional development.

First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 1st and 2nd December 2025, with second stage interviews on 8th and 9th December 2025.

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. With increased investment in income generation starting in 2025, we are expanding our team to drive the growth necessary to achieve our organisational goals. Our fundraising team bridges the journey of the animals in our care with the wider public, demonstrating how their contributions enable us to support every dog and cat. We now have several new roles within this team to further our mission. 

This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.
One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for developing a clear governance structure for the campaign, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. You will also oversee and track progress of a series of internal process improvements that support the running of the campaign.

Please note, this is not a direct fundraising position, but will support our fundraising teams in delivering ambitious financial targets for the appeal.

As Head of International High Value Fundraising, you'll:

• lead the International High Value Fundraising team, providing direction and day-to-day leadership to inspire and support the team in cultivating transformational giving. Motivate and empower colleagues to unlock major opportunities in the United States and strengthen our approach in other regions.
• partner with other fundraising teams across Dogs Trust and our international partners, World Veterinary Service and Mission Rabies, to enhance and align global philanthropy strategies. Identify and pilot innovative approaches to generating significant new income and building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
• personally manage a portfolio of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and major donors, leading on all aspects of relationship management, from prospect identification and tailored proposal development to bespoke stewardship and long-term engagement that secures six-, seven-, and eight-figure gifts,
• represent Dogs Trust internationally, strengthening our global profile and cultivating relationships that increase awareness of, and secure substantial philanthropic support for, our international programmes.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Senior Management Team, you will lead our fundraising strategy and team to secure significant, multi-year income from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors. Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for a proactive individual with good storytelling skills to produce fundraising applications and reports that inspire. As part of GCT’s Fundraising & Communications team, you will work closely with the Senior Development Manager to secure grant funding from Trusts & Foundations across our programme portfolio (including island restoration, community resilience, ocean protection and plastic pollution topics), with an increasing focus on securing multi-year funding to embed sustainability in our programme delivery.

You will be a great writer, researcher and comfortable working with numbers, enabling you to identify new fundraising opportunities and develop engaging proposals and reports with clear budgets. You will also be an organised individual with great attention to detail, ensuring you can effectively balance your time across competing deadlines and tasks.

We are looking for someone with: 

• 1-2 years proven experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising. 

• Experience working with budgets in Excel. 

• Experience of working with a database and managing contact lists and records. 

Key responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Lead Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for developing and delivering income from mid-value grant making funders, notably trusts and foundations. Fundraising and Grants Management

• Pipeline Management: Lead on prospecting, developing and managing the mid-value trusts and grants pipeline, focusing on bids around £20,000 - £70,000, including multiyear grants, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to meet team income targets. Developing the skills and ability to manage higher value and more complex strategic bids.

• Application Writing: Develop and submit compelling, high-quality grant applications and proposals for mid-value funders, working closely with service teams, ensuring accurate budgets and income against Adoption UK’s strategic priorities.

• Stewardship: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of new and existing mid-value funders, providing timely and impactful reports to secure renewed funding, and developing relationships with key external contacts through excellent communication.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.

Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.  

Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.

You’ll ensure grant reporting and management is kept on track whilst developing targeted proposals for new funding from sympathetic donors in the arena of Trusts and foundations.  

You will work to support both our teaching and resourcing of meditation and the running of our retreat centre in Bonnevaux, near Poitiers in France.

An excellent writer with excellent financial and budgeting skills, you will be adept at pulling together relevant, succinct and compelling information for our donor reports and bids.

You’ll work with communications staff to develop impactful donor communications which enhance our accountability and inspire renewed major donations.

We were delighted to be awarded £248,000 by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and we are now seeking an energetic and experienced fund raiser to join the team to develop our £3.6m heritage project ‘St Richard’s 60:60 – celebrating our first 60 years and preparing for the next’.  We are currently also recruiting a Project Manager and Community Engagement and Activity Plan Consultant and Business Plan consultant and Evaluation consultant will be appointed in the New Year. The project is to restore our iconic Modern building and celebrate the first 60 years of our Church as a launchpad for the future.

St Richard’s church was built in 1964 in the heart of a new housing estate alongside a new Primary School. It is a striking and flexible building with a strong presence forming part of the Ham Riverside identity. It has a number of significant architectural and artistic features acknowledged by its Grade II listing and its timber hyperbolic paraboloid roof is one of the few remaining examples in the country. However the roof covering is failing, and the unique timber shell construction is deteriorating rapidly. The seriousness of this is evidenced by its inclusion on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register.  Our goal is to give our church a secure and sustainable future as a home for a thriving Church and a welcoming space for community groups and activities.  Our Heritage Fund project will repair and restore the building and provide opportunities to bring its heritage to life for local residents and visitors from wider afield, while meeting community needs.
