Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service provides specialist care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Trusts Fundraiser to join our fundraising team and help secure the income that makes our work possible.
You will research and identify new funding opportunities, write compelling applications and reports, and build strong, lasting relationships with trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations. You will also have opportunities to support wider fundraising activity across corporate, philanthropy, community and individual giving.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent writing, research and relationship-building skills, who is highly organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
You will ideally have experience of fundraising, grant applications, bid writing, relationship management or a similar role, together with the ability to produce persuasive written content tailored to different audiences.
Experience of using a CRM system, particularly Salesforce, would be desirable.

What does this role do?
As a Stories Producer, you’ll:
- write and produce stories that capture the power of our work, travelling across the country to find case studies, helping us build a library of stories that can be used for campaigns and content across the charity,
- proactively look for stories, cultivating leads and generating ideas that can be turned into exciting content, as well as writing reactive stories for specific campaign briefs,
- interview colleagues, fosterers, and adopters, often discussing difficult topics, using sensitive interviewing approaches to gather information respectfully.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 10th and 11th September 2026 and will take place on Teams.

The West Yorkshire Programme Manager will be responsible for the strategic and effective organisation of tutoring programmes delivered in primary, secondary and post-16 settings within West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for ensuring that our tuition programmes operate effectively and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. The West Yorkshire Programme Manager will lead a team and will share with schools, local authorities and multi-academic trusts the full range of Tutor Trust services, to further promote our work.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior leaders in schools, MATs, and the wider education sector across West Yorkshire.
- Secure and deliver presentations to school and college leaders to expand Tutor Trust’s network of partner institutions.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Operations Manager to develop and implement regional strategies for partnership growth.
- Promote Tutor Trust’s tuition services across the region and represent the organisation at stakeholder events.
Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Lead tuition delivery across primary, secondary, and post-16 settings in West Yorkshire.
- Line manage the West Yorkshire Programme Coordinator and Programme Administrator to ensure effective project execution.
- Support the Strategic Operations Manager in guiding and developing the Programme Coordinator team.
- Deputise for the Strategic Operations Manager when required.
Operational Oversight & Data Management
- Ensure accurate collection and reporting of impact data from tutors and partner institutions to support quality assurance, financial processes, and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the development and tracking of tutoring targets and KPIs for internal and external reporting.
- Maintain accurate records on tuition progress using internal and external databases.
- Support internal communication systems to ensure timely and appropriate information sharing across teams and stakeholders.

Tutor Recruitment & Development

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a UK-wide voluntary organisation and charity that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people in farming and ‘walk with’ people at times of difficulty and change. The Trust Fund and Legacy Development Manager will be responsible for:
Trusts:
- Lead on the development and delivery of a new trust fundraising strategy.
- Identify, research and write compelling applications to meet and / or exceed income targets.
- Oversight and management of relationships with existing and new trusts and foundations and delivering funding reports to a high and consistent standard, including evaluating impact.
- Writing and submitting high-quality bids and tailored proposals to secure charity funding from trusts, foundations, grant providers and other sources.

- Working with the Senior Leadership Team to identify opportunities and develop project proposals aligned to organisational strategy.
Legacy Development:

Essential Criteria:

Boaz Trust relies on the generosity of trusts and foundations to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer (Trusts) who can help us sustain and grow this vital income by building positive, long-term relationships with funders, delivering high quality applications and reports as needed.
The money raised through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Our work includes providing safe accommodation and person-centred support, while working towards our mission of ending destitution among people seeking sanctuary.
Day to day, you will research prospective funders, prepare persuasive applications and cases for support, and produce accurate, engaging reports showing what funders’ support has achieved. You will manage a pipeline of applications and reporting deadlines, keep our fundraising database up to date, and work closely with colleagues across Boaz to best communicate the stories, outcomes, and impact from our work. You will communicate directly with existing and potential funders by email, telephone and, where appropriate, in meetings.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building interpersonal relationships with both funders and supporters and team-mates, is skilled at communicating through writing, can turn detailed information into a clear and compelling case for support, and is organised enough to manage several deadlines at once. You will already have experience of trusts fundraising or bid writing. Working closely with the Trusts Managers, and the Senior Philanthropy & Trusts Manager, you will lead the teams to secure, and grow, vital funding from trust sources to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally. The role currently leads a team of three.
The Trusts Lead will drive forward the Trusts strategy as well as oversee KPI development and measurement, and budgets for the team. The role is also responsible for account managing a handful of partners, as well as an organisationally significant seven-figure relationship with Postcode Lottery, requiring significant work with stakeholders across Battersea.

Purpose of the Role
Trust Officers play a key role in delivering The Friendly Trust's services.
The postholder will manage an allocated caseload, providing practical support, advice and financial administration to Service Users and their families.
The role combines person-centred casework with welfare benefits, financial management, advocacy and multi-agency working. Trust Officers develop professional relationships with Service Users and use their knowledge, judgement and problem-solving skills to ensure that people's financial affairs are managed appropriately while promoting choice, independence and individual rights.
Where a person may lack capacity to make a particular financial decision, the Trust Officer will ensure that their work reflects the principles and requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and any other relevant legal authority under which The Friendly Trust is acting.
Key Responsibilities
Service User Support and Casework
- Manage an allocated caseload of Service Users, taking responsibility for progressing work and responding appropriately to changing circumstances.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with Service Users, recognising their individual wishes, communication needs, abilities and circumstances.
- Provide clear and accessible information, advice and practical support to Service Users, carers and family members on matters including welfare benefits, financial management, trusts and related issues.
- Support Service Users to understand and participate in decisions about their finances wherever possible.
- Promote choice, independence and control while ensuring that appropriate safeguards are maintained.
- Meet with and visit Service Users and their families as required, including home visits and meetings with other professionals.
- Identify concerns affecting a Service User's financial or wider wellbeing and take appropriate action, including raising safeguarding concerns where necessary.
Welfare Benefits
- Support Service Users to identify and access welfare benefits to which they may be entitled.
- Assist with benefit claims, reviews and related correspondence.
- Liaise with the Department for Work and Pensions, local authorities and other relevant organisations.
- Identify apparent errors, underpayments or adverse benefit decisions and take appropriate action to resolve or challenge them.
- Maintain and develop an appropriate working knowledge of the welfare benefits system relevant to the Trust's Service Users.
Financial Administration and Appointeeship
- Manage Service Users' day-to-day financial affairs where The Friendly Trust has been authorised to do so.
- Act on behalf of The Friendly Trust in carrying out its responsibilities as a DWP Corporate Appointee where applicable.
- Ensure that benefits and other income received on behalf of Service Users are used appropriately and in their interests.
- Work with Service Users to create, implement and regularly review individual money plans and budgets.
- Monitor income, expenditure, account balances and financial commitments.
- Arrange payments and other financial transactions in accordance with organisational procedures and the authority under which The Friendly Trust is acting.
- Identify and respond appropriately to changes in a Service User's financial circumstances.
- Take reasonable steps to protect Service Users from financial abuse, exploitation and avoidable financial loss.
- Ensure that financial decisions are properly authorised, recorded and capable of being accounted for.
Mental Capacity and Decision-Making
- Apply the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in relevant aspects of their work.
- Recognise that capacity is decision-specific and should not be assumed solely because of a person's disability, diagnosis or circumstances.
- Support Service Users to make their own decisions wherever they are able to do so.
- Where a person lacks capacity for a particular financial decision, ensure that actions are taken in accordance with the appropriate legal authority and best-interests requirements.
- Maintain clear records of significant decisions and the reasons for them.
- Seek guidance from managers where a decision raises significant legal, financial, safeguarding or ethical concerns.
Record Keeping and Compliance
- Maintain accurate, clear, up-to-date and timely case records.
- Use The Friendly Trust's case management and financial recording systems, including CasparGov, to record actions, decisions, financial information and outcomes.
- Ensure that records meet organisational, legal, regulatory and UK GDPR requirements.
- Handle personal and financial information securely and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation, guidance, policies and procedures, including the Mental Capacity Act 2005, safeguarding requirements and, where applicable, Court of Protection guidance.
Communication and Partnership Working
- Communicate clearly, sensitively and professionally with Service Users, families, carers and professionals.

Hybrid working
Following successful completion of probation, Trust Officers are able to work on a flexible hybrid basis, subject to the requirements of the service.
Trust Officers are normally required to attend the Cardiff office for 2 x two-hour duty sessions each week.
Outside these duty sessions, staff have considerable flexibility regarding where they work, subject to Service User visits, meetings, training, team requirements and other operational needs.

International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.
