Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity to lead on all our existing and future funding partnerships. The successful candidate will have a specific focus on nurturing relationships with current corporate supporters, and oversee monitoring of agreed action plans in 2021/2022. You will also expand our work in this area to support our core costs, securing new strategic corporate partnerships and leading on relevant research and applications to trusts and foundations. You will have responsibility for setting and securing our annual fundraising targets, in collaboration with our Board of Trustees.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to work with and harness a wide range of supporters, including high-profile individuals,  activists and global brands.

  • An excellent understanding and experience of securing high value donations from companies and major donors

  • Experience of producing and delivering creative and customised proposals for corporate organisations and/or funding bodies 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex information in an engaging way to a variety of audiences.

  • Proven ability to use own initiative and develop creative ideas to develop opportunities and solve problems.

  • Awareness of working in an environment with limited resources, ideally with first-hand experience of the non-profit/charity sector

  • A flexible, resilient approach to work, able to work independently and as part of a small team and adapt to changing circumstances as needed.

  • An understanding and deep interest in the work of Inspiring Girls International. 

This role will be on a 12-month fixed term contract basis (with a view to extend), based remotely or in central London SW1.  Salary listed will be applied pro rata to a 4 day working week - flexible working arrangements welcome.

Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an initial interview (over Zoom) in week beginning 21st June, with possible second interviews in the wk beg. 28th June.
