We are looking for a volunteer to join our new startup at Unlock YOUR Potential in the volunteer role of GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Remote), where you will lead on the design of visual branding identity materials that will help us raise awareness and promote our brand new charity.

Our mission is to provide meaningful programmes that span employment, life skills, mentoring, personal development, and holistic support. Role Overview:

As the Volunteer, Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role helping our startup get recognised by creating visually appealing brand identity materials that will spear head our new start-up charity to success, such as;

• A branding guidelines demonstrating our positive uplifting brand identity and ensure our brand is consistent across the board.
• Social media posts to generate interest and help create a buzz around Unlock YOUR Potential and our work that helps people learn more about us and get us recognised.
• A5 size introduction brochure to help Unlock YOUR Potential raise its profile as we currently do not have a website.
• Branded info graphics that we can use for our social media and also our upcoming website to keep our brand consistent.
• Branded documents such as booklets, training manuals, forms and posters.

We just need a one page website that gives information in a well presented and visually appealing way.

We are a brand new youth work organisation in London and we need the help of a volunteer graphic designer who can help us by creating and designing a brand and a logo, along with a brand guidelines to help us on our way. 

We’re Urban Youth a passionate and dedicated force for young people in London. Our mission is to ignite passion, spark creativity, and open doors to a world of new and thrilling opportunities and experiences, helping young people discover their true selves, flourish, and grow into their fullest potential.

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to help enhance our visual communications. This volunteer position involved creating illustrations and graphic content that accurately conveys our brand and mission, and helps promote awareness of BPD and our work.

About Us

We are Borderline Support UK CIC, a non-profit organisation which is entirely volunteer-run and is led by our service users who are living with, or affected by, borderline personality disorder (BPD). We provide support and information to anyone in the UK affected by BPD. Every year we support more than 2000 people through our peer support groups and support services. We support people diagnosed with BPD, those who are living with symptoms, and their loved ones.

Key responsibilities

Illustration and Graphic Design

• Developing high-quality supportive visual content for use in social media, website and publications
• Develop visual content that aligns with our branding and mission
• Design infographics to convey information relating to BPD

Collaboration

• Work closely with the leadership team to understand project requirements and deliver visual content meeting that brief
• Accept feedback from team members to improve and refine visual content

Content Development

• Develop high-quality content for awareness campaigns and fundraising events
• Contribute to the creating of resources such as guides, brochures and presentations
• Design promotional material

Innovation and Creativity

• Bring fresh and innovate ideas to the table
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work
• Experiment with different styles and techniques to create unique and impactful content

Experience

We welcome applications from people with different and varied skills, for this role we are particularly looking for:

• Degree or equivalent experience in illustration, graphic design, visual arts or related field
• Proven experience in creating digital illustration and high-quality graphic design content
• Strong artistic, creativity and innovation skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in use of illustration or graphic design software
• Able to convey complex information into visually engaging and easy to understand content
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

We carry out reference checks for all individuals who will be volunteering with us on a regular basis. Volunteers will be required to complete induction and basic training before commencing the role. Volunteers must be over 18, and have the right to live and work in the UK.

Description

Numberfit is a social enterprise that works to make Maths learning fun and engaging for children across all age groups. We are looking to grow our reach, and with this our team.

You will be working alongside a small team including our founder and operations team, creating compelling digital assets and resources, including: 

- teaching resources

- teaching equipment

- social media content

- stories and much more

What are we looking for? 

We are looking for a person passionate about children's education who:

• Has graphic design/illustration experience

• Is a visually creative individual with a passion for design

• Can provide ideas

• Has the ability to quickly understand our needs
