We are looking for a Community Fundraiser with a proven track record of achieving ambitious community fundraising targets. You will be an excellent communicator and an energetic self-starter. You are comfortable with working independently, but ready to utilise the support of colleagues across the Fund. You are perceptive and versatile and will have the ability to translate our story into rich content and compelling scenarios inspiring people to work with us. Above all, you naturally build rapport to quickly establish relationships and develop innovative partnerships.
You will equally be as comfortable supporting members of the RAF family who want to fundraise, as you will presenting to a room full of students, a company or potential volunteers. No one day will be the same and you will be the local face and voice of the Fund on the ground. You will quickly build your understanding of the key influencers in your community and you will ensure they understand what we do so they will want to be associated with the charity. You will be responsible for raising income through existing networks of supporters, volunteers and building new relationships within the RAF, community groups and local business.
As an experienced fundraiser, you will also be responsible to the Team Leader for promoting team as well as individual success.

The role is primarily community based in the South of England with a focus on London and the South-East. There will be a requirement to travel around a strategically chosen geographical area and occasional overnight stays, as well as working evenings and weekends at events when required. An exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative fundraiser to develop a strategic programme of mid to high level donors for a charity working to build a fairer UK justice system within everyone’s reach.
As the Major Gifts Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining fundraising relationships, working closely with the Director of Development, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team. At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more.

The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Income Generation team at Bluebell Wood and we are now on the lookout for an experienced fundraiser to join us and take on the responsibility of developing, implementing and delivering the hospice’s Individual Giving portfolio.
This is an area with a potential for significant growth over the next 1-3 years and beyond, and we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable self-starter to steer the next chapter of our progress and development as our Individual Giving Fundraiser.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery and administration of Bluebell Wood’s Individual Giving income streams (in memory, legacy and regular giving) and work with the Individual Giving Manager to plan and implement a strategy to increase income growth in this area.

About the Role
We currently have a variety of volunteer roles including Fundraising Volunteers, Information Hub Volunteers (who support the Charity Hubs around the hospitals), and event volunteers. About Community Counselling:
The charity was established in 2013. It provides free therapeutic interventions such as counselling, play and creative art therapy, and EMDR (trauma) treatment to vulnerable people living in North Yorkshire, including children who have been the victim of crime. The clinical team consists of over 30 part-time practitioners, being a mixture of staff, volunteers (including trainees) and sessional workers. Last year we helped over 800 people with a wide range of mental health issues.

Community Fundraiser
We are looking for a proactive Community Fundraiser to engage individuals in local communities to maximise income generation by developing and maintaining relationships.

Position: Community Fundraiser
Location: Cambridge /hybrid
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role
The Community Fundraisers steward relations with Individual fundraisers, schools, community groups, in memory and challenge eventers. Supporting fundraisers who want to make a difference which sits at the heart of the charity’s Fundraising Strategy. What’s more, the new five-year strategy, will launch major fundraising campaigns for a new cancer hospital and a new children’s hospital, fundraising is set to reach an incredible level.
Whilst or community fundraising incorporates various income streams, you will be tasked and targeted to generate income from a specific area which may vary over time.
You’ll be working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and Head of Community Fundraising to help make the Community Fundraising programme a genuine success, helping to maximise the lifetime value of supporters by ensuring they offer the very best stewardship and gratitude to those who fundraise and donate to the Hospital.
Ultimately, you’ll be playing a crucial role in helping to ensure that the greatest number of people are having the greatest impact to make things even better.

About You
As Community Fundraiser, you will have experience of managing multiple priorities and strict deadlines and
of working in a similar fundraising role within a charity or not-for-profit organisation
