Start Date: Immediate

About Ignite Youth (East London)

Ignite Youth is a brand-new, ambitious youth club launching soon in East London. We are creating a safe, vibrant, and empowering space for young people (ages 11-18). We have the passion and the people, and now we need a strong visual identity to help us connect with the community and attract our first members.

The Opportunity: Leave Your Mark

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Volunteer Graphic Designer to spearhead the creation of our core brand identity. This is a fantastic opportunity to add a high-impact, professional, and purpose-driven project to your portfolio.

Key Project Deliverables:

  1. Logo Design: Finalising and delivering the club logo in various formats (print, web, black/white, colour).

  2. Brand Guidelines: Creating a basic style guide document covering colour palettes (primary/secondary), typography (font selection), and logo usage rules.

  3. Core Assets: Designing basic templates for key materials (e.g., a simple social media template, letterhead concept).

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in graphic design and branding (student portfolios welcome).

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).

  • A clear understanding of current youth-friendly design trends.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take direction and provide professional creative input.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong logo and branding work.

  • A passion for contributing to a positive cause in the East London community.

What We Offer You

  • Portfolio Showcase: A high-profile, real-world project to boost your professional portfolio.

  • Creative Freedom: The chance to define the entire visual personality of a new organisation.

  • Networking: Collaboration with the founding team and recognition for your contribution.

  • References: A strong professional reference upon successful completion of the project.

  • Remote Work: The ability to work completely remotely and flexibly to fit your schedule.
