Peaceful Place is a specialist dementia charity supporting people to remain active, independent and connected to their community. We focus on abilities, not limitations, helping every person who attends our day centre continue to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.
We are looking for volunteers to assist the members attending our day centre to take part in sports activities.
Each week, we take our members to local sporting venues for various sports sessions including:
- Swimming
- Gym
- Mini Golf
- Walking Football
- Boxing
- Bowling
- Darts
- Plus more
The most important skill you will need to possess is a kind, caring and patient nature.
If you enjoy sports and you would like to help, we would be very happy to hear from you.
We have a friendly and welcoming team at the Peaceful Place Day Centre and we will support you as a volunteer if you choose to help us.
An enhanced DBS is required for this role (we will cover the cost)
