Job description

Map the Future: Volunteer Project Manager for Mindset Charity

Are you a master of organisation, a strategic planner, and a driven leader passionate about bringing visions to life? Do you want to use your project management prowess to make a profound, tangible impact on men's lives across the UK?

At MINDSET Charity, we are embarking on a vital journey to redefine men's mental well-being. We know the devastating truth: the silence surrounding men's struggles often leads to tragic outcomes, with suicide remaining the biggest killer of men under 50. We are here to change that narrative, by building a vibrant community where men can find support, learn essential skills, and discover their full potential.

This is an exceptional opportunity to step into the crucial role of our Volunteer Project Manager. You will be the architect of our launch, meticulously planning and expertly managing every detail of our setup phase. From coordinating initial volunteer recruitment and website development to laying the groundwork for our first programmes, your organisational genius will transform our passion into a powerful, operational charity ready to make a difference.

Imagine the impact: Every timeline you create, every task you manage, every milestone you help us hit directly contributes to opening our doors and providing a lifeline to men who need us. Your leadership will ensure that our mission to foster resilience and growth becomes a tangible reality, bringing hope and practical tools to communities nationwide.

We're seeking a highly organised and dedicated individual who can bring:

  • Proven Project Management Expertise: Demonstrable experience in planning, executing, and delivering projects, ideally in a start-up or non-profit environment.

  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: The ability to create clear project plans, manage multiple streams of work, and track progress meticulously.

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: A knack for anticipating challenges and finding creative, efficient solutions.

  • Strong Communication: The skill to articulate plans clearly and coordinate effectively with diverse volunteer teams.

  • Unwavering Passion: A deep personal commitment to men's mental health and self-improvement.

If you are ready to apply your project management brilliance to build the very foundations of a charity that will save lives and inspire growth, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to lead from the front, shaping our success and creating a lasting legacy.

To express your interest, please send your CV and a compelling cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are passionate about leading Mindset Charity's setup phase.
