Join FARA, a charity with over 30 years of experience and 39 charity shops across London. Our FARA East Sheen shop is looking for a dedicated Antiques and Jewellery Volunteer to support our team in researching, valuing, and preparing donated items for sale.

By volunteering with us, you’ll play an important role in uncovering hidden gems, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting our commitment to reuse and a sustainable circular economy.

The Role:

As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Researching and valuing donated antiques, jewellery, and collectables
• Identifying rare, collectable, or high-value items
• Pricing and organising items appropriately for sale
• Ensuring items are clearly presented with accurate information
• Creating attractive and engaging displays
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Assisting with till operations when required

We're searching for volunteers for our upcoming concert in central London. The volunteers are required just for one day, Sunday 27th September. Hours roughly 10am-6:40pm

Roles include:

• Supervising children aged 14-17 (enhanced DBS check essential, we can provide if necessary)

As a small but fast-growing charity, we have a strong trustee board in place but are looking to bring in new trustees to help in our new phase of growth and ensure a sustainable future. We are therefore looking for trustees who want to get closely involved in setting the strategy, direction and priorities of Write Back as we transition from new ‘start-up’ into a more established charity. ● Under the age of 25 and who have lived experienced of the issues Write Back is trying to solve.

Core requirements:

● This is a voluntary unpaid role, for which any reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

● Your initial term will be for 2 years, with the possibility of renewal.

● Attendance at trustee meetings every two months (either online or in person, for roughly 90 minutes), as well as preparation for these meetings and any follow-up tasks. We estimate the time commitment to be no more than one day per month in total.

Stepping Stones Learning and Leisure is a small, friendly charity based in Southwark, providing inclusive activities for adults with learning disabilities. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Dance Fit Class Volunteer to support our weekly Thursday afternoon classes (1pm-3pm), held at St Faith’s Community Centre, Red Post Hill, SE24 9JQ (close to North Dulwich and Herne Hill stations). 

About Dance Fit

Dance Fit is a fun way to stay active through music and movement. Sessions are designed to improve fitness, flexibility and confidence in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Routines and exercises can be performed standing or seated, making the sessions accessible for everyone. The group learns simple routines that can also be practised at home, and each July learners have the opportunity to perform to friends and family at our Summer Show!

About The Role 

This role is ideal for someone who loves to move. You’ll support our tutor in delivering inclusive and fun classes for a small group of adults with learning disabilities. Every class is an opportunity for the learners to express themselves freely, socialise with others and feel the benefits of physical activity on their wellbeing.

As a Dance Fit Class Volunteer at Stepping Stones, you will: 

• Assist the tutor in setting up and closing down the studio space
• Encourage and support learners 
• Demonstrate movements

Together Media is Learn Together CIC’s volunteer-led digital publication. We produce public-interest content covering news, social issues, community stories, politics and culture through videos, interviews, podcasts and short explainers.

We are looking for confident and enthusiastic volunteers to present content on camera and contribute to podcasts and interviews.

Location and commitment

The role can be completed remotely or in person in Manchester. Opportunities are available during the week and at weekends, with a minimum commitment of two hours per week.

No specialist equipment is required. The only equipment you need is a smartphone for recording content.

Purpose of the Role:

To deliver creative and inclusive knitting sessions at the Baytree Centre, helping participants of all skill levels enjoy a shared activity, build connections, and feel part of a welcoming community. - Lead and deliver weekly knitting sessions for participants of varying skill levels.

Prison-based volunteers are the backbone of Fine Cell Work (FCW). Supported by the Fine Cell Work programmes team and by other staff at the FCW office, they teach and administer FCW stitching groups in prisons.

Prison volunteers work in teams to organise classes and teach our stitchers, as well as providing information about the group to the prison and to the FCW office. The precise mix of skills will vary from prison to prison.

Volunteering in prison for Fine Cell Work requires ideally a good level of needlework skill (or a willingness to learn), some teaching experience and/or experience of working with socially-excluded groups. Volunteers must be patient and non-judgemental in order to work effectively. As a prison volunteer you will be:

• Developing skills and confidence
• Teaching prisoners to stitch FCW products within the framework of our training programme
• Encouraging and supporting prisoners to volunteer as class coordinators and peer mentors
• Encouraging and helping prisoners who wish to undertake their own creative projects

It is essential for volunteers to support FCW's ethos, believe in rehabilitation, be an excellent teamworker, observe personal boundaries, be reliable and patient to ensure cell groups run smoothly, and have record-keeping skills and have some knowledge of needlework.

Volunteers work in prisons around the UK dependent on where groups are based, therefore it is requred that volunteers will be able to travel to the relevant prisons. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the charity.

We're looking for someone with a background in drama to support our tutor in delivering accessible and fun drama sessions for a small group of adults with learning disabilities. Each year, the group works towards a production which is performed at our end-of-year Summer Show, making this a fun, creative, and rewarding volunteering opportunity.

As a Drama Class Volunteer at Stepping Stones, you will:

• Encourage and support learners during rehearsals and performances
• Help with setting up props, costumes and resources for sessions

About the role

This is a voluntary, non-executive governance role with a time commitment of just 2 to 3 hours per month. As Finance Trustee, you will Chair our Finance and Fundraising Sub-Committee, providing board-level oversight of LAH's financial health: reviewing management accounts, scrutinising budgets and forecasts, ensuring our financial controls are robust, and supporting the wider Board of Trustees at Latin American House to understand financial risk and sustainability.

You will work closely with LAH Director and finance team, contributing to the approval of annual accounts and budgets, and ensuring we meet our Charity Commission and Companies House obligations.

This is strategic oversight, not day-to-day operations - the hands-on finance work stays with our staff.

You will have a direct Latin American background, this is a requirement of LAH's governing documents, alongside experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial management. What You’ll Do

Support the Age UK Enfield team with general admin tasks that help our services run smoothly. You’ll help with email communication, data entry, and other simple office duties.

You will:

· Help respond to and send emails from shared inboxes (with support and supervision)

· Input volunteer, client, or service data into our CRM system (training provided)

· Update spreadsheets, mailing lists or booking systems

· Support with printing, scanning or filing where needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Process Automation Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our intelligent automation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring that automation projects align with organizational goals and meet deliverable timelines. You will drive digital transformation by turning complex manual processes into streamlined, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline & Intake Management: Oversee the intake process for automation requests. Assess technical feasibility, calculate projected ROI, and maintain a prioritized project pipeline that balances quick wins with high-value strategic initiatives.
• End-to-End Delivery: Lead project planning, scoping, and execution. Guide solutions through the full cycle, ensuring a smooth transition from proof-of-concept (PoC) to production deployment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with process owners and executive leadership to define requirements, document as-is/to-be processes, and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of automation developers, business analysts, and QA testers.

Required Qualifications
