We are looking for a new member of the Canterbury Cathedral Audit and Risk Committee, which provides independent oversight of the Cathedral’s systems of internal control, risk management, and financial reporting. As a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, you will support the Chapter, the Cathedral's governing body, in discharging its responsibilities as a registered charity and steward of public trust, overseeing external and internal audit functions, and the mitigation of financial, reputational, operational and safeguarding risks.

York Archaeological Trust for Research and Excavation Limited, an educational and research charity, is currently looking for a new trustee specialising in finance to join its board during an exciting period of development.

Having celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2022, we are committed to building on the vision that began with the Coppergate excavation in York and the opening of the internationally renowned JORVIK Viking Centre, and to harnessing archaeology for educational and public benefit. We are keen to hear from those who can offer expertise and experience in strategic financial management. With succession planning in mind for the role of Chair of our Finance and Audit Committee, we are seeking a candidate with considerable professional financial expertise, ideally underpinned with a formal first-tier accounting qualification, proven commercial acumen and strong leadership skills to scrutinise, challenge and oversee the entirety of the Trust’s finances. Whilst a formal accountancy qualification is desirable, we will also consider candidates who have had substantial experience of corporate or charity governance, financial analysis and scrutiny at a strategic level.

Business experience of the charity sector from either an employed or voluntary capacity would also be an advantage.

Trustees are appointed for a three-year term, renewable to a maximum of nine years. The role includes a commitment to attend four board meetings per year and the Annual General Meeting. Trustees are also expected to contribute some additional time to sub-committees and/or Steering Groups in line with their interests and expertise. Trustees are not remunerated, but we can cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses.

Earth Stewards Travel Club | an Ecosy Travel initiative

We help travellers and accommodations plan, share, and transparently report low‑carbon flight‑free holidays.

Earth Stewards Travel Club is a grassroots climate action community for travellers and tourism professionals who believe exploring the world and protecting it go hand in hand. We organise guided events across London combining sightseeing with environmental action: canal clean-ups, forest garden volunteering, citizen science, wild swims, wetland walks, and more, and we're building a network of volunteer destination leaders to take the model to locations around the world.

We're a certified B Corp and registered social enterprise at an early and exciting stage. We've run our first trial event in London and are working on building the community before we scale. This is an opportunity to shape how an emerging climate action community delivers impact.

The role

We're looking for a proactive, personable, and organised volunteer to build and manage the distribution partnerships that get Earth Steward's events in front of the right people. You'll identify, approach, and develop relationships with hotels, hostels, and visitor accommodation in London, as well as tourism organisations, sustainable travel communities, and visitor-facing platforms whose audiences overlap with ours.

This is fundamentally a business development and relationship management role. You'll be representing Earth Stewards Travel Club externally, opening doors, and building the network of partners who help us grow without paid advertising.

This role suits someone with a background or interest in sales, business development, tourism, hospitality, or partnership management, and who wants to apply those skills to a purpose-driven business.

What you'll do
Hotel & accommodation partnerships

• Identify independent hotels, boutique stays, eco-friendly properties, hostels, and B&Bs in London whose guests are likely to be interested in our events
• Reach out to concierge teams, guest experience managers, and hotel marketing contacts to propose distributing Earth Stewards event information to their guests, via leaflets, digital displays, concierge recommendations, or inclusion in welcome packs
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with accommodation partners, keeping them updated on upcoming events and new tour routes
• Explore reciprocal opportunities where relevant, promoting partner properties to our community in return

Tourism organisation partnerships

• Identify and approach tourism organisations, destination management organisations, sustainable travel networks, and visitor guides whose audience matches our community of eco-conscious travellers
• Pitch co-promotion arrangements: newsletter features, social media cross-promotion, event listings in partner channels, or collaborative event programming
• Develop relationships with organisations already working at the intersection of tourism and sustainability including B Corp networks, social enterprise communities, and green travel platforms

Partnership management

• Maintain a simple CRM or partnership tracker to record outreach, conversations, and active relationships
• Brief the founder regularly on pipeline and active partnerships
• Work with the Community & events marketing coordinator to ensure partner co-promotion is joined up with our own content calendar
• Identify new distribution opportunities as the event programme grows and new routes launch

Who we're looking for

• Genuine passion for sustainability, climate action, or conscious travel
• Confident communicator: comfortable reaching out cold, following up, and building relationships with people you haven't met before
• Organised and self-directed: able to manage a pipeline of outreach without close supervision
• Professional written communication skills: you'll be representing Earth Stewards externally in emails and proposals

Desirable

• Background or experience in sales, business development, account management, hospitality, or tourism
• Existing knowledge of or contacts within the London hotel, hostel, or sustainable tourism sector

What You’ll Do

Support the Age UK Enfield team with general admin tasks that help our services run smoothly. You’ll help with email communication, data entry, and other simple office duties.

You will:

· Help respond to and send emails from shared inboxes (with support and supervision)

· Input volunteer, client, or service data into our CRM system (training provided)

· Update spreadsheets, mailing lists or booking systems

· Support with printing, scanning or filing where needed

· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling information

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Process Automation Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our intelligent automation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring that automation projects align with organizational goals and meet deliverable timelines. You will drive digital transformation by turning complex manual processes into streamlined, automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline & Intake Management: Oversee the intake process for automation requests. Assess technical feasibility, calculate projected ROI, and maintain a prioritized project pipeline that balances quick wins with high-value strategic initiatives.
• End-to-End Delivery: Lead project planning, scoping, and execution. Guide solutions through the full cycle, ensuring a smooth transition from proof-of-concept (PoC) to production deployment.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with process owners and executive leadership to define requirements, document as-is/to-be processes, and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of automation developers, business analysts, and QA testers. 
• Governance & Standardization: Ensure all automation solutions comply with IT governance, security protocols, and audit requirements. Enforce coding standards, reusable component development, and robust documentation.
• Performance Tracking: Define and monitor SLAs for end-to-end automation support. Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate business benefits and optimize future delivery methodologies.

Required Qualifications

When children finish Year 6 in our primary programme, many of them don't want the music to stop. So we have started an evening youth club to keep it going. It runs in partnership with Youth Connect South West, and the Police Early Intervention Team back it because they see music as a practical tool against gang recruitment and knife crime. We need musicians or singers who want to teach instruments and support creative projects with young people in their community.

About the role

Orchestra of Everything Foundation (OOEF) delivers free, immersive music education to around 250 children aged 7–11 at two Bath primary schools in Twerton and Whiteway — nationally ranked deprived communities. Our impact is off the scale: school leaders tell us that 86% of children show improved attitudes to learning across all subjects, and we have been instrumental in a 39% reduction in pupil suspensions. Our work has caught the attention of the Department for Education, and Bath Spa University now incorporates our model into teacher training.

The youth club runs in partnership with Youth Connect South West and is endorsed by the Police Early Intervention Team and the Bath & North East Somerset Violence Reduction Partnership — who see music as a frontline tool against gang recruitment and knife crime.

As a Youth Club Music Leader you will draw on your musical skills to teach instruments, support group projects, and help young people develop creatively and socially. You will work in teams with other musicians and youth workers. Formal teaching qualifications are not required.
