Build and drive the foundation’s revenue generation, institutional grant applications, corporate partnerships, and high-net-worth donor networks.

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Design and execute a multi-channel fundraising and partnership strategy.
•  Identify, draft, and manage applications for national grant-making bodies, trusts, and lottery funds.

We empower people with PCOS through a personalized digital platform for education, care, and community.

We’re looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Ad Campaign Manager to help grow the Cystar app through strategic digital advertising.

As an early-stage FemTech startup, we’re looking for someone with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing digital advertising campaigns who can help us reach more people living with PMOS (Previously PCOS). You’ll work closely with the Founder to plan, launch, optimise, and measure advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating high-performing campaigns, analysing results, and helping a mission-driven startup scale its impact.

🚀 What You’ll Do

📢 Digital Advertising

• Plan, create, and manage advertising campaigns to promote the Cystar app across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and other digital platforms
• Develop app install, awareness, lead generation, and conversion campaigns
• Research and define audience targeting strategies to maximise campaign performance
• Monitor campaign budgets and recommend how advertising spend should be allocated across platforms

🎯 Campaign Optimisation

• Monitor and optimise campaigns to improve performance and reduce acquisition costs
• Conduct A/B testing on creatives, audiences, messaging, and landing pages
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and maximise return on investment
• Recommend new advertising strategies based on campaign insights and industry trends

🎨 Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the Social Media Content Creator and Social Media Graphic Designer to develop engaging advertising creatives
• Help write compelling ad copy and calls to action

📊 Analytics & Reporting

• Track and report on key campaign metrics, including:
  • App downloads
  • Click-through rate (CTR)

🌿 We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, digital advertising, app marketing, or performance marketing
• Has hands-on experience creating and managing advertising campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and/or TikTok Ads

Manage regulatory administration, statutory record-keeping, and board operations for both Guardian Light Foundation and Guardian Light Enterprises Ltd.

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Coordinate board meetings, compile agendas, prepare board packs, and record accurate minutes.
•  Maintain statutory registers (Trustees, Directors, Conflicts of Interest) and manage official correspondence.
•  Prepare and file annual governance updates with the Charity Commission and Companies House alongside the Treasurer.
•  Ensure compliance with the charity’s CIO Constitution and standing orders.

Chair of Trustees – Hackney Playbus

Are you passionate about giving every child the best start in life?

Hackney Playbus has supported children and families across Hackney for more than 50 years through free, inclusive play sessions, family support and community outreach. We are now looking for an inspiring and collaborative Chair of Trustees to help lead the organisation into its next chapter.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an experienced Board and Co-Directors to shape the strategic direction of a well-established local charity with a strong reputation and growing ambition.

As Chair, you will provide leadership to the Board, ensuring strong governance, thoughtful decision-making and a clear focus on our charitable mission. You will support and challenge the Co-Directors, help build an engaged and diverse Board, and act as an ambassador for Hackney Playbus with partners, funders and the wider community.

We’re looking for someone with strategic leadership experience, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. Previous Chair experience is welcome but not essential; we’d also love to hear from people with senior leadership, governance or committee experience who are ready to take on their first Chair role.

This is a voluntary position requiring approximately 1–2 days per month, including quarterly Board meetings, regular meetings with the Co-Directors and occasional attendance at events and partnership meetings.

Position Overview

The Head of People will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This volunteer, unpaid role leads the People team (including HR Business Partners and Recruiting) and oversees People Operations, talent acquisition, and culture-building initiatives to ensure an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing environment. This role is fully remote.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources in a leadership role.

• Experience leading an HR team, preferably in a nonprofit or volunteer-based organization.

Position: Board of Director - Treasurer (Unpaid Volunteer Role)

Reports to: Board Chairperson

Location: Hybrid (remote + in-person events as needed)

 Primary Purpose:

Provide strategic financial oversight, ensure robust accounting controls, and manage dual-entity financial structures (Charity & Trading Subsidiary).

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit preparation.
•  Structure tax-efficient inter-company transfers, Gift Aid claims, and cost-allocation mechanisms between Foundation and Enterprises.
•  Present quarterly financial reports and risk assessments to the Board.
•  Ensure full compliance with SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice) accounting standards.

 Candidate Specification:

•  ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA professional accounting qualification.
•  Proven experience with UK charity finance, Gift Aid regulations, and trading subsidiary accounting.

By becoming a Community Ambassador Volunteer, you can help change that.

Local communities play a vital role in supporting people through some of life's most challenging times. You can help strengthen those community connections by sharing information about Marie Curie and raising awareness of the support available to anyone affected by terminal illness.

This is a flexible role that can fit around work, study, family life or retirement.

Whether you visit a local library, community centre, GP surgery, leisure centre or community event, you'll be building relationships, sharing information about Marie Curie and helping strengthen community awareness. (

Availability: Volunteer around your existing commitments

Time: Just 2-3 hours per month

Location: Within north East Derbyshire.

Volunteers are not expected to travel extensively across the area and can choose opportunities that are local and convenient to them.

Criteria: 18 years of age or over

• Display leaflets and resources in community venues

• Attend occasional local events on behalf of Marie Curie

The difference you will make to cats and people

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.

• following policies and guidelines and ensuring licences and permits are obtained for events

Time expectation

Our fundraising team leaders usually spend three to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.
