The Architect of our Digital World
As our Founding Digital & IT Lead, you are the guardian of our data and the engine of our efficiency. You won't just be "fixing PCs"—you will be sourcing, building, and managing the entire cloud ecosystem for a city-wide movement.

Your Impact:

• System Architect: Source and set up our Cloud CRM and Participant Case Management platforms to ensure our connections are tracked and meaningful.
• Infrastructure Lead: Build and manage our secure Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 environment, including emails and shared drives.
• Security & Safeguarding: Be the lead on Data Protection (GDPR) and technical safeguarding, configuring devices and permissions to keep our participants safe.
• Tech Mentor: Empower our team by leading training sessions and providing "calm-in-the-storm" support for volunteers using our platforms.
• Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for our cloud providers, ensuring our tech stack is always "Always On."

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. is seeking a Founding Volunteer Marketing Automation & Funnel Specialistto help architect the responsible digital infrastructure that supports our growth.

This is not a high-pressure sales automation role.
It is ethical systems design.

Our C.I.C. exists to confront and expose the realities of childhood sexual abuse (CSA), centre survivor truth and accountability, support young people into economic empowerment, and build community-owned, open-source systems that serve people rather than capital.

About the Role

As our Founding Marketing Automation & Funnel Specialist, you will design and maintain the ethical digital workflows that connect campaigns, content, and community engagement.

You will not inherit a finished digital system.
You will help architect it.

Your work will ensure that automation supports participation rather than pressures it. You will design structured, logic-based workflows that guide volunteers, donors, members, and supporters through respectful, safeguarding-aligned digital journeys.

This role blends technical configuration with strategic thinking. You must be comfortable building systems, analysing performance, documenting processes, and collaborating with marketing and leadership teams.

Experience Qualification and Requirements

Essential / Highly Valued Experience

• Experience or strong working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.

• Understanding of digital funnels and lifecycle journeys.

• Ability to design structured, logic-based workflows (triggers, conditions, segmentation).

• Experience integrating digital systems (email, forms, website, CRM, databases).

• Understanding of digital performance metrics (conversion, retention, engagement rates).

• Ability to document systems clearly and transparently.

• Confidence troubleshooting and improving technical workflows.

• Willingness to work within safeguarding, GDPR, and ethical data frameworks.

• Ability to collaborate with copywriters, analysts, and campaign leads.

• Equivalent professional or voluntary experience accepted.

Main Responsibilities / Key Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows linking campaigns, email systems, forms, and databases.

• Build digital funnels supporting volunteering, fundraising, membership, and community participation.

• Develop logic-based journeys including triggers, segmentation, and conditional pathways.

• Integrate platforms across website, CRM, email systems, and content tools.

• Collaborate with copywriters and campaign teams to align messaging with workflow structure.

• Monitor and evaluate funnel performance using agreed metrics.

• Optimise supporter journeys based on behavioural data and feedback.

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and consent standards.

About Bank.Green

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to act as a technical steward for the Bank.Green website, our primary public-facing platform, working alongside another senior engineer already on the project. Technical decisions are made in a collaborative, consensus-driven way, rather than top-down.

The site is transitioning to Astro, with a React-based frontend, and is deployed via Cloudflare. Content is managed via Prismic as a headless CMS, with data coming from internal GraphQL and REST APIs.

The platform serves roughly 5,000 pages, the majority of which are repeatable, programmatically generated bank profile pages built from shared templates and structured data. As a result, performance, caching, SEO, and build efficiency are key concerns.

This is a hands-on but flexible role, suited to someone who enjoys maintaining and improving real-world infrastructure that thousands of people rely on.

What you’d be working on

• Building and shipping new frontend features that improve how users understand and act on bank climate data

• Maintaining and improving the Astro/React codebase with a focus on clarity, performance, and long-term maintainability

• Improving build performance, caching strategy, and CDN efficiency to keep the site fast and cost-effective at scale

• Collaborating on architectural and technical decisions with the other senior engineer

• Reviewing and contributing pull requests, and helping establish sensible frontend and deployment patterns

• Experience as a frontend or full-stack engineer at a mid-to-senior level
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience with React and modern frontend tooling
• Familiarity with Astro, or strong interest in content-first frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt, Gatsby, etc.)
• Comfort reviewing code and guiding less experienced developers
