The Role

We’re looking for a creative volunteer Graphic Designer to help shape the visual face of the Lyonic Scots. You’ll design materials based on our identity and help us bring our heritage to life and help us connect with audiences worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Design logos, emblems, and digital branding for our global community

• Create digital and print promotional materials — posters, banners, booklets, and social media graphics

• Develop merchandise designs (badges, apparel, and souvenirs)

• Support the creation of event visuals and campaign artwork

• Collaborate with our communications team to ensure brand consistency

What We’re Looking For

• Strong design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools

• A flair for heritage, symbolism, and storytelling through design

• Ability to work independently and meet creative briefs

• Passion for Scottish culture, history, or community development

SCOTS

As a Volunteer Health Walk Leader, you will play a key role in supporting our residents to become more active and improve their wellbeing through social walks!

Project Resilience provides easily accessible opportunities for our hostel residents to take part in a variety of social and sporting activities to boost overall health and wellbeing.

You’ll help lead short, safe, and friendly group walk, especially for those who may be inactive, recovering from illness, or looking to improve their physical and mental health.

You will:

·Plan and lead regular health walks in your local area

·Welcome and support all participants, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere

·Carry out basic safety checks and risk assessments for walk routes

·Encourage conversation and connection among walkers

Monitor attendance and report back to the coordinator as required

Skills required:

·First Aid Qualification

·Able to walk at a steady pace for 30–60 minutes

Help shape the public voice of a growing educational non-profit and turn meaningful programmes into clear, engaging content. This is an opportunity to lead our social media work, develop a practical strategy and build a consistent presence across key platforms.

Coempowered is a small, volunteer-led organisation creating inclusive spaces for philosophical inquiry, critical thinking and collaborative learning. We work particularly with Persian- and Kurdish-speaking communities, including young people and adults affected by inequality, displacement and limited access to education.

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Social Media Content Producer who can take ownership of this area of work. You will collaborate with directors, facilitators and other volunteers, while being confident planning and progressing tasks independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing a practical social media strategy

• Creating and maintaining a content calendar

• Planning, designing, writing and publishing at least one weekly post on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

• Producing blog and website content when required

• Creating graphics and templates using Canva or similar tools

• Turning programme activities, events and organisational updates into accessible and engaging content

• Gathering information, images and quotations from different individuals and teams

• Maintaining a consistent visual identity, tone and message

• Monitoring basic engagement and recommending improvements

• Following safeguarding, confidentiality, copyright and consent requirements

• Updating the shared task tracker and submitting a weekly activity log

This is a fully remote role requiring approximately 5–7 hours per week. Attendance at online onboarding, weekly meetings and relevant training is required.

As our team is small and we are working to grow the organisation, reliability is essential. We need someone who communicates their availability clearly, plans ahead, gives reasonable notice of delays or absences, and follows through on agreed responsibilities.

The role would suit someone with experience in social media, content writing or basic graphic design who wants to take the lead on a meaningful communications project and help an emerging organisation strengthen its public presence.

Job description

We're looking for someone to manage our social media accounts for a minimum of 6 hours per week, during which you will schedule posts to engage our audiences. This is a creative role that will require you to create content based on our brand guidelines, using fresh impact (e.g. quotes, photos, videos) gathered by you or sent to you by our team on the ground, and you'll be able to pitch your own ideas for mini-campaigns and content.

We'd like you to spend some time looking at our audiences, using analytics to understand who our followers are, providing insightful analysis from the data available and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. The ideal candidate has a strategic mind and lots of passion and energy for our mission, as well as experience managing social platforms, creating content, and engaging with analytics.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Your principal role will be to promote, develop and maintain our online presence in order to maximise our impact and to promote ourselves as widely as possible to the local community.

Main Duties:

· Help create and maintain a social media plan

· Use social media to promote the activities and achievements of WFRC

· Keeping our social media channels updated on a frequent basis

· Encouraging others to comment on our posts and share them with others

· Ensure that communication reaches a wide range of local stakeholders and a diverse audience

· Develop and manage content for our website and social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, & YouTube.

· Select relevant channels to reach our diverse audiences

· Track the effectiveness of our social media work and recommend ways forward.

· Test content and review its impact.

· Keeping up to date with WFRC events and news, and choosing what to promote through our social media feeds

· Develop publicity materials and communication techniques to target communities that are under-represented

· Visiting our projects and attending our events with a view to writing articles about them on our blog

· To manage the filing and archiving of photographs and videos.

The Role

To support the growth of CET, we are seeking a volunteer with Google Ads experience to undertake a one-off review of our Google Ad Grants account and implementation of actions.

Our Google Ad Grants account helps us raise awareness of our work, reach teachers around the world and connect with potential supporters and partners. We are looking for someone who can review the account, identify opportunities for improvement and implement recommendations to help maximise the impact of the grant.

The role will report to the Marketing Lead.

While this opportunity is initially focused on a one-off account review and optimisation project, we would also welcome volunteers who would be interested in supporting and optimising the account on an ongoing basis. However, this is not essential.

• Review the structure and performance of our Google Ad Grants account.

You might be a PPC professional looking to support a charitable cause or a digital marketer with experience managing Google Ads campaigns.

• Experience managing Google Ads campaigns (experience with Google Ad Grants would be an advantage).
• Knowledge of campaign optimisation, keyword research and conversion tracking.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify practical improvements.
• Ability to work independently and carry out tasks remotely.
• Reliability, organisation and good communication skills.
• An interest in education or the charity sector would be welcomed.

We are recruiting for a volunteer to support and facilitate an art and craft group.

• To prepare arts and craft sessions, involving individuals in the planning process where possible
• Inspire and motivate individuals to develop their arts and craft skills, assisting them in the creation of their projects and supporting them to brainstorm and use their own initiative

Join Vault Youth Zone as a Volunteer Youth Worker and help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging space for young people aged 8–19 (up to 25 for young people with additional needs). Volunteers support the Recreation & Engagement team in delivering activities such as pool, table tennis, board games, challenges, group discussions, themed projects, and social activities.

As a volunteer, you will help young people build confidence, make friends, develop new skills, and feel part of a positive community. You will encourage participation, promote our values, and act as a positive role model while working alongside our team of youth workers.

No previous youth work experience is required. Ongoing support and training will be provided.

The Volunteer Team Leader / Deputy Team Leader leads the local volunteer team by motivating and supporting members to deliver agreed objectives. The role provides strategic direction, management, and guidance while ensuring a positive, inclusive, and effective team environment.

To lead, motivate and support the local volunteer team in developing, delivering and monitoring a yearly local strategy that aligns with Crimestoppers's vision, mission and organisational priorities.

You will lead the local volunteer team, setting direction and ensuring activity aligns with Crimestoppers’ mission that people are the ones who stop crime. 

You will working closely with the Police, Community Safety Partnerships, and local organisations, and help deliver campaigns and events that improve community safety. 

Through regular communication with regional and national staff, you will ensure your volunteers stay informed, connected, and supported.

You also help to recruit, support, and develop volunteers, creating an inclusive and motivated local team.
