On the first Monday of each month we hold Network update meetings which all must attend or watch online afterwards. We also have weekly Monday and monthly Thursday meetings.

Progression to our medical roles is possible after recruitment is complete.

Once we have completed your selection and screening for this role, we will provide you with an induction, as well as invite you to any necessary training sessions. We are searching for an enthusiastic volunteer to become the Recruitment Officer for our Newcastle branch, this role focuses on encouraging volunteers to join Make a Smile. In terms of member recruitment, they will need to help organise and run training sessions, organise and seek recruitment opportunities such as hosting stalls at Volunteering Fairs, contact through coleges/universities and social media use etc etc. Finally, they will need to encourage trainees to complete the essential training, including hosting intial introduction training sessions and help get volunteers to their first event! 

Help us create calm, meaningful connections for autistic children. If you understand sensory needs and have experience supporting SEND children, you’ll be a steady, reassuring presence for families rebuilding after trauma.

You’ll play a key role in celebrating our amazing Sense runners — snapping action shots, cheering them on, and helping us tell the story of connection, determination and inclusion. What you’ll do:

• Capture photos of Sense runners throughout the marathon

Say Aphasia is a charity supporting people living with aphasia—a language and
communication disability that can affect a person’s ability to speak, understand, read, or

Role Overview
We are seeking a volunteer marketing expert to help design and deliver creative
marketing strategies that strengthen our fundraising campaigns. Your expertise will help
