Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations (ER) Case Management

• Handle end-to-end ER cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, absence management, and performance issues, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance.

• Advise managers on ER processes, providing coaching on conflict resolution, documentation, and equitable decision-making.

• Document case outcomes meticulously and identify trends to recommend preventative measures.

Investigations & Compliance

• Support complex workplace investigations, gathering evidence, interviewing stakeholders, and drafting reports in collaboration with the Manager: Talent Advisory.

• Ensure all ER outcomes comply with UK employment law, organisational policies, and QuilomboUK’s D&I principles.

• Mitigate organisational risk by maintaining accurate records and escalating high-risk issues promptly.

Workplace Culture & Engagement

• Design proactive ER initiatives (e.g., manager training on bias-free feedback, mediation programs) to promote a positive, inclusive culture.

• Partner with the People & Culture team to embed restorative practices and psychological safety in conflict resolution.

• Contribute to engagement surveys and action plans to address systemic employee well-being issues.

Policy Development & Implementation

• Collaborate with the Manager: Talent Advisory to design, update, and implement HR policies that reflect QuilomboUK’s values, culture, and legal obligations.

• Communicate policies clearly to employees and managers, ensuring accessibility and understanding across all levels.

• Monitor policy effectiveness and propose adjustments to align with evolving organisational and social justice goals.

D&I Integration

• Apply a D&I lens to all ER processes, ensuring marginalised voices are heard and outcomes address systemic inequities.

• Advocate for inclusive practices in performance management, such as culturally sensitive feedback frameworks.

• Support initiatives that advance QuilomboUK’s external social justice partnerships and internal equity goals.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in HR or employee relations, with hands-on experience managing disciplinary, grievance, and performance cases. Exposure to mission-driven or D&I-focused organisations is preferred.

• Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.

  • Ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy, discretion, and cultural competence.

As an Activities Volunteer, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for service users. You will co-facilitate group sessions, assist with planning and running activities and events, and support the smooth operation of day-to-day service activities.

This role is central to Waythrough’s recovery-focused approach and offers a chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Tasks may include:

• Co-facilitate group sessions with service users, ensuring they feel supported and included.
• Help plan and deliver activities such as creative workshops, gentle exercise, social outings, and educational sessions.
• Assist with organising and running events within the service.
• Meet and greet service users, helping them feel comfortable and informed.

Position Overview

As our Google Ad Grants Specialist, you will play a critical role in expanding the reach of Solution Community's mission through strategic management of our Google Ad Grants account. Leveraging up to $10,000 per month in Google Search advertising, you will help connect volunteers, nonprofit partners, donors, philanthropists, and changemakers with our global community and initiatives.

What Will You Do?

• Manage Google Ad Grants Campaigns: Create, monitor, and optimize search campaigns utilizing our $10,000/month Google Ad Grants budget.
• Increase Mission Visibility: Develop keyword strategies and compelling ad copy that drive awareness, engagement, volunteer recruitment, nonprofit partnerships, and donor interest.
• Optimize Performance: Monitor campaign metrics including impressions, click-through rates, conversions, and quality scores to maximize impact and maintain grant compliance.
• Ensure Grant Compliance: Maintain adherence to Google Ad Grants policies and best practices to keep the account active and performing effectively.
• Conduct Keyword Research: Identify high-impact search opportunities that align with our mission, programs, and global initiatives.

Role Summary:

As our Lead Security Engineer, you will be the guardian of our digital ecosystem, designing and implementing secure systems that protect our platform, data, and global community. You will lead our security strategy, ensuring resilience, trust, and integrity across all technological initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Defend: Architect and implement robust security frameworks, policies, and protocols that safeguard our infrastructure, applications, and user data.

• Identify and Mitigate Risks: Proactively assess vulnerabilities, conduct security audits, and lead threat modeling to prevent and respond to potential risks.

• Secure Development Practices: Embed security into the software development lifecycle, guiding teams on best practices such as secure coding, encryption, and authentication.

• Lead Incident Response: Establish and manage incident detection and response processes to ensure rapid resolution and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure security is integrated into every layer of our platform.

• Experienced Security Leaders: 7+ years of experience leading cybersecurity or information security, with a strong background in securing cloud-based systems and applications.

Do you love little ones and understand the importance of supporting new Mums through this significant life change? Are you looking for a new opportunity to contribute your time in a supportive and friendly organisation?

We are looking for kind, empathetic and committed women to join a team of volunteers at our Friday mum’s programme. Each Friday between 20 and 30 mums’ gather to share experiences, dance with their babies and drink great coffee. Due to the nature of the project, we can only accept applications from women and each successful applicant will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Time Commitment:

At least twice a month on a Friday.

There are two time slots available per Friday session.

• 9.15am - 2.15pm

• 12.30pm – 4.30pm

We are looking to build a team of warm, reliable and compassionate volunteers to support our Friday Mums project, which provides a welcoming space for mothers and babies during the first year of motherhood at The Bridge. At each Friday session, we are looking to have two volunteers to give their time alongside a session lead from our staff team.

 Due to the nature of the project, we are only accepting volunteer applications from women. All volunteers will need two references and we complete a Enhanced DBS check.

About Friday Mums at The Bridge 

Friday Mums is a free weekly group for new mums (and pregnant women) to connect, feel supported and spend time with others who understand this stage of life. Unlike many baby groups, Friday Mums is designed to support mums as people, not just parents. 

The Bridge is a women’s health and wellbeing charity based in Southwark working to create inclusive and welcoming spaces for women of all identities to connect and thrive for over 90 years. We believe in a fairer society where women’s voices are heard and their health and wellbeing are valued and respected. Through our women-only gym, community café, wellbeing programmes and support groups, we help women care for themselves, support one another and challenge injustices together.

Typical responsibilities 

• Help set up and manage a safe, welcoming, baby-friendly environment for weekly Friday Mums sessions.

• Provide informal support and conversation to mothers, listening and encouraging participation in wellbeing activities.

• Engage positively and appropriately with babies to enable mothers to take part in discussions and activities.

• Support the delivery of group sessions through practical assistance and general organisation.

• Help café team with making coffees and teas for the mums when they arrive to the café space.

Here at One YMCA we wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do without the amazing volunteer staff that help run the day-to-day operations of the hostels and supported living facilities. These vital roles are open to all YMCA residents, and we are currently looking for volunteers to help out with our accommodation.

What do we do?

We run hostels across the Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire areas with over 400 rooms. In addition to this, we run programmes for those needing supported housing including asylum seekers.

Helping to run an activity that enables our Residents to flourish in body, mind and spirit. Responsibilities would include:

• Helping to plan and advertise the group in conjunction with the Activity Leader
• Proactively engaging with Residents and staff to encourage participation in the activity
• Helping the Activity Leader to organise and run the activity
• Be a non-judgemental, approachable presence to enable the most vulnerable Residents to take part
• Maintaining records of participation
• Signposting residents to other groups & support available
• Attend regular volunteer team meetings
We can discuss together the nature of the activity, taking into account your skills & passion as well as the current needs within the scheme.

Training/Support:
• A full induction to the service and specific site will be provided
• A menu of optional training will be made available
• Online training: Safeguarding (adults & young people), Fire

You will play a key role in working towards our mission to recruit outstanding individuals who will work with us to transform the lives of disadvantaged women and families living in Wolverhampton.

Key responsibilities for this Volunteer Recruitment Administrator are:

•  To act as a point of enquiry for information, advice and support for prospective volunteers.
•  To assist in screening, sourcing and shortlisting all CV’s for active vacancies.
•  Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
•  Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
• Help maintain and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
•  To provide administrative support to the volunteer coordinator by updating job descriptions, coordinating & setting up interviews.
• To create and maintain documentation and records for recruitment.
•  To build positive relationships with relevant stakeholders in order to attract high quality applicants.
•  To explore innovative attraction methods to increase awareness of our volunteer programme amongst new audiences, particularly to those who are underrepresented on our programme.

Person Specification

What you will need as Volunteer Recruitment Administrator:

•  A good level of education, strong administration experience along with good IT literacy including Outlook, Word & Excel.
•  A background in recruitment would be a huge bonus!
•  The ability to prioritise your day, work at a fast pace and meet deadlines.
•  Great communication skills
•  We have some great technology to support you, so you will need to have a good understanding of systems and MS Office applications
