We’re looking for frontend a web developer to help us create a groundbreaking web app that promotes sustainable living.

You will play a major role in implementing a series of design upgrades to improve the UX and ensure accessibility, browser compatibility and web standards. Your main task will be to convert design ideas into responsive HTML/CSS components.

What are we looking for?

UK based developers with experience of translating design files into clean, semantic HTML/CSS code and establishing component-based architecture. Ability to:

• Convert design mockups/wireframes into responsive HTML/CSS components;
• Build & maintain reusable component libraries to ensure consistency
• Collaborate with designers & developers to translate visual designs into functional code;
• Optimize components for maximum performance & scalability.

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Manager to enhance, and manage our website. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing modern, responsive, and accessible websites that effectively communicate brand identity and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop: Create a visually appealing and fully functional website aligned with our brand identity.

User Experience (UX): Ensure intuitive navigation, mobile responsiveness, and a seamless user experience.

Content Management: Integrate and manage blog posts, event updates, and resources.

SEO Optimisation: Implement best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.

E-Commerce & Donations: Set up functionality for event ticket sales, fundraising, and online donations.

Security & Maintenance: Ensure site security, regular updates, and performance optimisation.

Requirements

Proven experience in web design and development (portfolio required).

Proficiency in Squarespace, Wix, or other CMS platforms.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

Experience with SEO, UX/UI design, and mobile responsiveness.

Ability to integrate e-commerce, payment gateways, and donation platforms.

Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

Contribution Requirements: Minimum 10–15 hours per week; minimum 3‑ 6 months commitment

Summary of Role:

As a Volunteer Quality Assurance Engineer with us, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and user experience of Solution Community’s digital products. You will design and execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to support smooth, stable releases. Your work directly contributes to building a platform that empowers global compassion and action.

What Will You Do?

• Develop and execute manual test cases for web and mobile features

• Identify, document, and track defects using internal tools

• Validate bug fixes and support regression testing before releases

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to clarify requirements and ensure testability

• Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes

• Create and maintain test documentation, checklists, and quality standards

• Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve user experience and product reliability

Who Are We Looking For?

• 3-5 years of experience with manual QA testing for web or mobile applications

• Familiarity with test case design, defect reporting, and regression testing

• Strong attention to detail and ability to think from a user perspective
