The Role

We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and highly professional Volunteer Charities and Crowdfunder Support Manager to build and maintain relationships with charitable organisations, community groups, and individuals using crowdfunding pages.

This role involves guiding partners from initial contact through onboarding and maintaining ongoing rapport, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and valued throughout their involvement with the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and invite suitable charities, community groups, and crowdfunding campaigns to join the platform

• Guide partners through the onboarding process from first contact to launch

• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both organisations and individuals

• Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, support, and reassurance

• Maintain regular communication to sustain engagement and rapport

Although this is currently a volunteer position, Influential Stars is actively working to grow the platform with the long term aim of creating paid roles. The Conversation Class Teacher volunteer will deliver IRMO Conversation Class lessons as suitable, required and in support of our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) provision for adults. 

You will work closely with the ETE Education Assistant to support language development among IRMO ESOL Courses learners, following a scheme of work and basic course outline and planning the lessons at beginner and advanced levels (as allocated) according to your teaching approach, methods and techniques. 

Main tasks and responsibilities of the role: 

● Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons to a range of classes and levels in a community setting. 

● Providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for learners, reinforcing and practising English focusing on particular areas of the learner's language. 

● Ensuring learners’ participation during classes and monitoring attendance. 

● Providing opportunities for social engagement to support learners to become more independent (eg. explaining necessary processes about daily life).

We’re looking for Support Group Volunteers over the age of 18 years old, based at Horniman Museum, 100 London Road, London, SE23 3PQ.

You’ll be volunteering every second Tuesday between 2pm and 4pm.

As a support group volunteer, you will help with the running of the group. The role is designed to suit the needs of the group, and the skills of people offering support. If you enjoy getting to know your community, working with others and making a real difference then this is the role for you.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham works to relieve poverty and isolation amongst refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants in Lewisham. At the Rainbow Club Saturday Supplementary School we aim to help children between the ages of 4 and 11 to improve their literacy, numeracy and social skills in a friendly and supportive environment.  We need your skills and enthusiasm to assist the teacher in the delivery of a literacy and numeracy class and work with other volunteers to develop a programme of recreational activities. The Rainbow Club runs on Saturday mornings during term-time.

Your duties will include:

• Arriving punctually for the 9am briefing by the Rainbow Club Headteacher;
• Working in a team with other volunteers and teachers to deliver literacy, numeracy, arts, sport activities – this includes ensuring children remain engaged throughout the lesson and carry out set tasks as instructed by the teacher;
• Working one-to-one with specific children if and when required;
• Filing classroom work and homework in children’s individual files and keeping all materials and resources tidy and properly stored;
• Liaising with parents as and when required for example distributing leaflets and news about future meetings and events and also assisting with parents' day;
• Following the teacher’s policies on discipline and classroom management;
• Supervising the children during break times;

Youth Leaders work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By organising a mixed weekly programme, this role will support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens.
