Volunteer Psychologist

SheRebuilds is an international nonprofit project that supports women who have experienced domestic violence and are rebuilding their lives through education and career growth. We provide free online psychological support, coaching, and career guidance, helping women take their first confident steps toward independence.
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Spanish-speaking volunteer psychologist to join our team. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting women as they transition to a new phase in their lives. Your work will provide them with the stability and confidence they need to take the first steps toward recovery and independence.

We’re looking for a psychologist who:
• speaks Spanish (required)
• speaks English (required)
• has experience or interest in working with women after crisis

You will be working with women who are already in a more stable phase, but still need support to move forward.

We’re looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor (volunteer) to join our growing team.

�� What you’ll do

• Edit 3–4 short videos per month (mainly for Instagram Reels, possibly TikTok in the future).
• Work closely with our Content Creator to bring storytelling ideas to life.
• Add captions, graphics, and music in line with the project’s tone — calm, supportive, and empowering.
• Help shape our visual style and experiment with new formats that engage and inspire.

IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.

We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English.

The overall role of a treasurer is to:

• Maintain an overview of the organisations’ affairs
• Ensuring its financial viability
• Ensuring that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.

General responsibilities

• To ensure that the organisation complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.
• To ensure that the organisation pursues its objects as defined in its governing document.

Youth Helper work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By supporting our Youth Leaders to deliver a sessions across our range of programmes. In this role, you'll support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Helpers also help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and generally encourage them to strive to be the best they can be, as well as supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.

St John is one of the largest youth organisations in the country and many of our young volunteers go onto careers in health and/or social care.

Being a youth volunteer helps young people develop skills and confidence that go on to help them with further education and university applications. To do this we need dedicated and enthusiastic youth helpers. The Community Engagement Team Co-ordinator volunteer will be responsible for running activities that will bring this about.

These include holding social events on Zoom and maintaining WhatsApp groups.

The engagement team can use their imagination and interests – events/groups could be anything from book groups to craft sessions. The co-ordinator organises and maintains the activities and can participate in them if desired.

The Trustee Board is central to ensuring governance, strategic oversight and ethical leadership across the organisation. They work collectively to shape the long-term strategy, oversee organisational performance, manage risk, and ensure SIG operates with integrity, transparency, and in the best interest of beneficiaries to achieve our organisational objectives, utilising the funds entrusted to us for long-term sustainability.

About the Treasurer opportunity:

SIG is seeking a new Treasurer to join their Board of Trustees to manage the financial health of the organisation, ensuring compliance, and support strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensure organisational financial viability
• Work with Chief Executive and Finance Officer to achieve the financial sustainability of the organisation
• Oversee and approve budgets, accounts, and financial statements
• Oversee the integrity of financial planning, management, and reporting, ensuring effective use of resources and organisational sustainability
• Ensure robust internal controls, audit processes, risk management, and compliance frameworks are in place
• Provide governance, support and oversight in line with Charity Commission expectations, statutory responsibilities and legal obligations

Person Specification:

• Qualified Accountant or similar including ACT, ACCA, CIMA, CertT or ACA
• Experience in governance, senior leadership or strategic advisory roles
• Experience interpreting risk, performance and financial information
• Experience presenting complex information to non-specialists

The role involves:

• Four board meetings per year (online and in-person)
• Additional input into planning and specialist areas
• Approx. 4 hours per month
