Emetophobia Action is a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by emetophobia (the fear of vomiting). We work to raise awareness, provide reliable information, and campaign for better understanding and treatment within healthcare and educational settings.

We are a small but passionate team of clinicians and volunteers striving to make a real difference to those living with this often misunderstood condition.

Role Purpose

As a Fundraiser, you will help us grow our income to expand our reach, awareness campaigns, and events including in person conferences. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your creativity and communication skills to make a lasting impact on people affected by emetophobia.

Key Responsibilities

 •  Develop and deliver creative fundraising ideas and campaigns (online or community-based).

 •  Research and apply for small grants, sponsorships, or community funding opportunities.

 •  Organise or assist with virtual and in-person fundraising events (e.g., sponsored challenges, charity auctions, awareness days, conferences).

 •  Build relationships with local businesses, donors, and supporters.

 •  Promote fundraising activities across social media and community networks.

 •  Work collaboratively with the charity team to track and report fundraising outcomes.

About Lucas Helps Dogs
Lucas Helps Dogs is a volunteer run  charity working in Sri Lanka to reduce the suffering of street and community dogs and cats. We run spay and neuter clinics, provide rabies vaccinations, emergency treatment, and daily meals to street dogs and cats. We also deliver educational programmes in schools to teach kindness to animals and responsible pet care.

We’re currently looking for a Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure vital funding so we can continue and expand our work for animals in need.

About the Role
As our Grant Writer, you’ll help identify suitable grant opportunities and prepare well-researched funding applications to support our animal welfare projects. You’ll work closely with our founder to understand the charity’s goals, gather information, and develop strong proposals that demonstrate our impact and vision.

Step by Step is a charity that passionately supports young people facing challenging times. Our unique approach, providing accommodation, personal development opportunities, and specialist support, helps young people identify and achieve their aspirations.

Each year, we work with over 1,300 young people aged 11–25. Our team plays a vital role in empowering them and preventing homelessness. We are a positive, dynamic, and professional team, committed to helping young people reach their full potential.

Incorporated in 1989, Step by Step has a long history of supporting young people. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting their welfare and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The Volunteering Opportunity:

As the first point of contact for all visitors, this is a key volunteering role which makes a huge contribution to the work of Step by Step Partnership. You will help us to provide a welcoming face to all visitors at our Aldershot  Office and help us to manage enquiries. This is an unpaid volunteering role.

Duties:

Welcome visitors with appointments, ensuring that they sign in/out

Inform the Youth Support Worker or Counsellor when a young person arrives seeking advice, and keep the customer informed

Take in the post and parcels

Talk to the young people arriving needing support, so that the right support worker can be contacted

Hand out care packages containing food and sanitary products.

What we are looking for:

· Ability to volunteer effectively as a member of a team

· Willingness to undertake mandatory training in subjects such as Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Health and Safety.

The number of days and hours will be discussed. As a minimum, we would ask for a commitment of 4 hours per week. We need support on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are open between 0800 – 1800, so any hours that can be volunteered would be greatly appreciated.

About the Project

They are seeking a Treasurer to join the Board and strengthen financial oversight as the organisation works to simplify its accounting processes and manage expenditure more efficiently. The role involves reviewing systems, supporting financial planning and reporting, and ensuring compliance with charity regulations.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in charity finance or audit. The ability to communicate clearly with non-finance trustees and to recommend practical, proportionate improvements will be key.

The Board meets remotely, with one in-person meeting each year in London. The expected commitment is around two to three hours per week, with occasional peaks around Finance Sub-Committee meetings.

We are seekingPhysician Associates to respond to and manage emergency calls/incidents whilst attending events. At all times provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care to undertake clinical assessment and interventions those individuals in the pre-hospital environment, which may include stadia, concerts, motorsports, road races etc. This may encompass working on both ambulances / FRV’s and within treatment units as required.

They are seeking a Treasurer to join the Board and play a key role in ensuring sound financial governance and supporting the organisation’s continued growth. Working closely with the senior team, the Treasurer will oversee financial management, strengthen internal controls and reporting, and advise the Board on strategy, budgeting, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring accounting or treasury experience, strong analytical and organisational skills, and an interest in regeneration, community enterprise, or heritage-led development. Experience of Xero or financial oversight within a Community Interest Company would be an advantage.

The Board meets remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in Ramsgate. The expected time commitment is around one to two days per month, including meeting preparation and liaison with the executive team.
