Mixcloud - station manager

Daz In The Hat Radio CIC is looking for a volunteer with at least three years’ experience to manage our Mixcloud channel. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting independent and grassroots music.

What You Will Do:

• Upload audio files from our radio shows and live sessions to Mixcloud.

• Create and maintain playlists that showcase presenters, genres, and featured artists.

• Add accurate tags, descriptions, and metadata to maximise discoverability and engagement.

• Promote shows and playlists via social media and other digital channels where appropriate.

• Monitor listener engagement and provide insights to help improve content visibility.

Volunteer Qualities and Experience:

• Minimum three years’ experience managing audio content on Mixcloud or similar platforms.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills to maintain consistent uploads and schedules.

• Attention to detail for accurate tagging, descriptions, and playlist creation.

• Familiarity with music promotion and social media engagement strategies.

• Passion for grassroots, unsigned, and independent music.

• Ability to work collaboratively with presenters, artists, and the wider volunteer team.
