Ranger Cadets is a new, independent, inclusive youth organisation with a powerful mission: prepare young people aged 11–21 for life through service, community, skills and positive leadership.

We’re building something modern, meaningful and community‑focused — a uniformed youth organisation where young people grow, contribute and discover their potential. To make this vision real, we need leaders who can guide our early units, support volunteers, and help shape the organisation as it grows.

THE VOLUNTEER ROLE: Lead a District — and Help Shape Ranger Cadets

As District Ranger, you will oversee a small cluster of 2–4 Ranger Cadets units. You will support Unit Leaders, volunteers and youth leaders, ensuring every unit delivers a safe, inspiring and high‑quality programme.

You will:

• Lead and support 2–4 local Ranger Cadets units

• Mentor Unit Leaders and help them grow their teams

• Ensure programme quality, consistency and safety across the district

• Strengthen community partnerships and public engagement

• Support district‑level events, service projects and activities

• Help build new units as the organisation expands

• Be a visible leader at cadet activities and community events

• Report to the Area Ranger and contribute to area‑wide planning

This is a leadership role with real influence — practical, people‑focused and full of purpose.

You won’t just oversee units. You’ll help build the organisation from the ground up.
