THE VOLUNTEER ROLE: Create the Volunteer Experience That Powers Ranger Cadets

As our Volunteering Programme Lead, you will be the heartbeat of our organisation — the person who builds, supports and energises the volunteers who make everything possible.

You will:

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding and support of all volunteers

• Build a warm, inclusive, welcoming volunteer culture

• Create clear volunteer pathways, training and support systems

• Work closely with Unit Leaders and Programme Leads to understand volunteer needs

• Ensure every volunteer feels confident, appreciated and part of something meaningful

• Help shape the values, behaviours and culture that define Ranger Cadets

• Support volunteers at community events, public activities and partnership projects

This is a role for someone who loves people and loves building community.

You won’t just manage volunteers — you’ll inspire them.
