The Role: Build the Programmes That Bring SUNSHINE to Life

As a 100% volunteer‑run and volunteer‑led start‑up charity, we are searching for experienced, creative, and deeply committed Programme Development Volunteers to lead the creation, set‑up, and implementation of our first pilot programmes.

This is not just a role. This is an opportunity to shape the experiences, activities, and community spaces that will transform loneliness into belonging across London and beyond.

You will help us build a programme portfolio that is:

• Uplifting — bringing joy, confidence, and connection into people’s lives.

• Positive — rooted in kindness, warmth, and community spirit.

• Team‑spirited — co‑created with volunteers, participants, and partners.

• Impactful — designed to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, and strengthen community bonds.

You Will Lead On:

• Designing, planning, and launching SUNSHINE’s pilot programmes, including:

  • Digital Inclusion & Skills Sessions

  • Monthly Coffee Mornings

  • Wellbeing Workshops

  • Fitness & Wellbeing Classes

  • And many more community‑led activities

• Creating programme structures, session plans, and participant journeys.

• Working with volunteers, partners, and community members to co‑design activities.

• Ensuring programmes are inclusive, accessible, joyful, and welcoming.

• Supporting the evaluation and refinement of pilot programmes.

• Helping shape the long‑term programme strategy for SUNSHINE.
