About The Pinnacle Centre
The Pinnacle Centre is a third space in Birmingham helping young adults grow holistically. We work across three domains: personal development, sports and wellbeing, and community and belonging.
Vision 2030 is where that work is heading. We're building a multi-purpose centre in Birmingham — sports facilities, co-working space, an auditorium and a café — designed as a home for young adults to train, work, learn and gather.
Role Summary
You own how our work looks. You design the graphics, layouts and visual assets across everything Pinnacle produces, you run the design pipeline, and you hold the visual standard when deadlines make it tempting not to.
Key tasks
1. Design output
○ Design social assets, event collateral, print, signage and presentation material.
○ Deliver to brief, on brand and on deadline.
○ Maintain a consistent visual standard across every output.
2. Creative development
○ Contribute creative concepts, not just execution.
○ Develop visual treatments for campaigns with the Campaign and Brand Leads.
○ Push the quality of our design forwards rather than reusing last year's approach.
3. Pipeline & assets
○ Own the design workflow from brief to delivery: capacity, scheduling and review.
○ Build reusable templates so routine assets do not need a designer.
○ Maintain the design asset library and source files so anyone can find and reuse them.
4. Collaboration
○ Work to briefs from the Campaign Lead and the CMO.
○ Take feedback well and iterate quickly.
○ Support Video/Production with graphics, titles and thumbnails.
What we're looking for
● A graphic design portfolio you are happy to show.
● Fluent in Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
● Strong typographic and layout judgement.
● Fast and reliable to deadline, and organised with files.
● Motion or illustration skills (desirable).

Please note: this is currently a volunteer position. Reasonable expenses for travel, equipment and refreshments are reimbursed in line with our Expenses Policy. As Pinnacle grows and funding allows, we expect several senior roles to move to paid positions, and volunteers already in post will be considered first.
