About the Role

Are you looking to build experience in HR, recruitment, and administration while working for something meaningful to the community?

WFRC is seeking a proactive and organised HR Admin (Onsite Volunteer) to support our growing team. You’ll play a key role in helping us attract, screen, and onboard volunteers, ensuring we have the right people in place to support families in need.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, and coordination within a charity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Support

  • Post volunteer and role advertisements across platforms
  • Screen applications and shortlist candidates
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct initial screening calls (if required)

HR Administration

  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records
  • Update spreadsheets and manage candidate data
  • Ensure accurate and organised documentation

Onboarding & Coordination

  • Support onboarding of new volunteers and team members
  • Share SOPs, guidelines, and onboarding materials
  • Assist with system access and documentation processes

Process & Reporting

  • Follow structured recruitment workflows
  • Provide regular updates on recruitment progress
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in HR, recruitment, or administration
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel / Drive
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented

⏰ Volunteer Commitment

  • Minimum 12 hours per week (4-hour shifts)
  • Consistent communication and availability required
