About the role
Do you live in Glasgow or the surrounding area, have excellent local knowledge and the skills to nurture established relationships whilst building a pipeline of new income opportunities?
We’re looking for someone who can join the team to cover the maternity leave of our senior community fundraiser[SG1] . If you love connecting with people and want to make a difference for people affected by breast cancer, we’d love to hear from you.
Offered as a fixed term contract of 12 months this position will play a key part in developing our presence in Scotland. This is designed to grow long-term income through a new, locally based relationship fundraising team.

Primary location of role
This role is primarily based in our Glasgow office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London or Sheffield offices.

As a new service, we have 4 x full time IDVA positions available. These posts are initially offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, with the potential for extension subject to future funding. These roles are full time, working a hybrid with two days per week expected to work from our centrally located office in Boscombe. About the Role
As a IDVA you will provide high quality support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:
- Feel safer
- Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
- Feel listened to and heard
- Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
- Be connected with services who are available to help them
Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to victims of domestic abuse via their preferred contact method.
- Undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
- Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
- Liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
- Provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of older people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.
About You:
Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)
You will need:
- A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
- Experience of working with victims of crime (preferably domestic abuse) including completing risk assessments and safety planning
- Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
- Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate.
- An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
- A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
- An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
- Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.
- Organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload

Role Summary:
- Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of funders and donors including trusts, foundations and major donors to meet financial and non-financial targets
- Maximise income through the development of co-ordinated stewardship and relationship management
- Produce compelling proposals, reports, and presentations. and deliver inspiring base tours.

As Charity Officer, you will directly support our venues based at Redlibbets Golf Club, Cobtree Manor Golf Club, and Warley Park Golf Club.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Delivery:
- Plan, organise, and execute a range of community outreach and charity events, including (but not limited to) Fun, Food, and Golf, Community Cafes and School outreach.

About KLS’ Future Foundations education team
Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement. Since 2004, KLS’ Future Foundations education team of 10 part-time staff and over 100 volunteers, have supported young refugees and their families in Battersea and the London Borough of Wandsworth to thrive in their education. Through mentoring, family support, casework and homework clubs, we provide the tailored support each young person and their family (if they have one) needs to overcome the barriers to education they face at home and school.

•Support staff to liaise with families/carers to communicate information regarding our work

•Support our senior case workers with weekly drop-in advice sessions at KLS, including completing forms with families, general admin tasks etc.

About the role

Animal Equality’s campaigns have driven Parliamentary debates, legal victories, policy shifts, corporate commitments, mainstream media coverage, and inspired thousands of individuals to change their diets.
We are seeking a creative, driven, and strategic Campaigns Coordinator to deliver our current high-impact campaigns with a view to exposing the cruel animal agriculture industries, influencing decision-makers, and mobilising the public to create lasting change for farmed animals.
Working closely with team members, the Campaigns Coordinator will design and deliver imaginative campaigns while working in alignment with the organisation’s wider mission: to end factory farming. The role requires initiative, creativity, tenacity, and a solutions-focused mindset, as well as the discipline to execute projects effectively and professionally.
The Campaigns Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with others across our UK and international teams. The appointee will play a key role in coordinating and inspiring volunteers and external stakeholders.
The Campaigns Coordinator will have opportunities to travel across the UK and internationally to organise and lead peaceful demonstrations, ensuring Animal Equality maintains a visible, strategic, and compelling presence at key decision-making moments. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

The Role
The role of a programme coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. Purpose of role
To develop the communications output of QSA across all platforms, supporting delivery of the aims of QSA’s organisational and fundraising & communications strategies. To centre QSA’s communications work in an ethical storytelling approach.
Duties & responsibilities
- To contribute to a plan and timetable for QSA’s communications work.
- To uphold clear protocols on how we gather and share stories and impact, to hold ourselves to the highest standards around ethics and wellbeing.
- To work in the community and across all QSA’s services, to get to know the people who access them, sensitively inviting people to share their stories or consent to photos.
- To compile and share ethical and compelling storytelling content across a range of media.
- To co-manage all of QSA’s communications platforms including social media (including community management), email marketing and website.
- To generate and publish regular digital communications and fundraising content (including video, audio and copy), across our owned and shared platforms, and printed materials.
- To pull together content into regular email briefings for QSA’s supporters and donors.
- To provide communications support to the wider QSA team.
- To engage with other QSA teams about website content, being responsible for adding in this content, liaising with our web agency as required.
- To follow a GEO-first approach to QSA’s web development, to promote growth in traffic and engagement.
- To actively drive growth and engagement across QSA’s social media, website and email marketing.
- To work within QSA brand guidelines to provide recognisable and reliable content, while also keeping content fresh and engaging.
- To work with third party suppliers or freelancers as required, eg. for graphic design or other communications assets.
- To undertake event marketing of QSA’s fundraising events.
- To track analytics to evaluate the impact of the content we produce and promote across all our platforms.
- To plan and create content for individual giving campaigns and digital fundraising.
- To maintain an up-to-date awareness of best and emerging practice in non-profit communications, and to share new ideas for growth.
- To work within, and actively promote, the policies and procedures of QSA.
- Any other duties, as appropriate to the role, as agreed by the QSA director.
Person specification
Experience
- Experience of working for or volunteering for a charity, especially if UK-based and community focussed, is highly desirable.
- Experience of communications work, in a paid or voluntary capacity, is highly desirable.
Ability
- Excellent people-facing skills, able to confidently build rapport with people, and sensitively approach difficult topics.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships across a wide range of people, including team members, colleagues, and QSA donors.
- Ability to confidently produce and share content online, such as stories, images, videos.
- Ability to produce engaging content for social media platforms, email marketing and web.
- Ability to track and understand digital marketing analytics.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt and respond to new challenges/opportunities while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their different audiences, and how to tailor content appropriate to each.
- Knowledge of poverty on families, households and communities in the UK and an understanding of/empathy for the impact of living on a low income.
Other
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and offline communications.
- Commitment to and understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- A willingness to work within a Quaker ethos, as per the mission of QSA.
