If you are an undergraduate or graduate, you could make a difference by joining us as a volunteer tutor. As a volunteer tutor, you’ll need to:

Your letters will cheer someone up and establish a trusting, supportive relationship with a client who might be lonely or socially isolated.

• Writing letters to clients
• Building trust and companionship with a client through correspondence. Omega befriends a variety of people including: caregivers, the lonely, isolated or people with ill-health.

ZAKKI is a social startup focusing on creating an inclusive community for the elderly and people with disabilities. Our mission is to facilitate alms and donations collection and distribution to help the elderly and people with disabilities who work in the informal sector to get better livelihood through micro-business management, giving them greater market exposure.

Currently, we are still redesigning ZAKKI fully function product. We are expecting to develop the ZAKKI fully function product in the upcoming years.

ZAKKI is a non-profit foundation, and all ZAKKI teams and volunteers do not receive a salary. Mary's Living & Giving for Save the Children is unique - a vibrant result of the generous gifts of local individuals and companies being turned around by the skills and passions of volunteer teams, to create a destination retail experience. Selling womenswear, menswear, shoes, and bags to household goods, our shops can be found in the London villages and bring in vital funds for Save the Children.

Our East Dulwich Shop Volunteers are in the middle of it all, and there’s plenty to get involved with. You might be sorting and pricing stock, engaging with customers, ringing items through the till, creating fantastic window displays or keeping our shop floor looking organised.

It’s up to you how much you commit. We have volunteers who support for a couple of hours a week and some do more. Many people volunteer either a morning or an afternoon each week - this is something that will be discussed at the selection stage, after you’ve applied. We would also love to hear from people willing to volunteer on Sundays.

Victory Afghanistan is a volunteer -led nonprofit providing free online English lessons and mentoring for Afghan girls and women who are currently barred from formal education. Our mission is to equip them with the skills and confidence to apply for scholarships and university placements abroad.

We are looking for a number of volunteer IELTS Tutors to support our mentorship-level students from January to May 2026. These students already have an IELTS level of around 6.0 and now need focused preparation to achieve higher scores required for university entry.

You do not need formal mentoring experience. We are seeking dedicated, emotionally intelligent, and inspirational professionals from around the world who bring real-world experience, strong communication skills, and empathy, and who are passionate about helping others grow.

This is not a traditional mentorship programme — it is a structured pathway designed to help young Afghan women develop the academic and professional skills needed to move forward despite the severe restrictions placed on them inside Afghanistan.

Applicants should hold either a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of professional experience. They should demonstrate emotional intelligence, clarity in communication, and the ability to guide, inspire, and challenge thoughtfully. A reliable internet connection is also essential.

Our students have completed six levels of English and are now enrolled in one of four mentorship semesters. Each mentee follows her own unique path, whether:

• Pursuing an online university degree,

• Applying for scholarships abroad (Europe or the US), or

• Seeking remote work or internships (particularly for qualified professionals currently unable to work inside Afghanistan).

This is an opportunity to make a tangible, life-changing impact. The women in our programme are courageous, determined, and eager to learn, yet they lack access to role models and practical guidance from professionals in their fields.
