Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity.  Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our employment specialists based within primary and secondary care.

This role is still within its infancy and will be working closely with the Executive Director to lead and oversee our employment services.  Recent investment in our services has led to the growth of our employment offer and this role currently oversees four employment teams across Camden and Islington.  The post holder will work closely with the other members of the senior leadership team to shape, deliver and evaluate Hillside’s business strategy and support on ensuring Hillside continues to meet the needs of the local mental health community. 

Role overview:

- To oversee and support the day-to-day running and growth of the employment services offering of the Charity; currently two Individualise Placement and Support (IPS) services and two Employment Advisors (EA) in Talking Therapies services.

You will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to meet the varying needs of young people experiencing a multitude of varying needs including offending behaviour and complex mental health. You will have responsibility of housing management and will work within the management team and internal SHP Central teams to ensure the service are delivered to the highest standard.

JOB SUMMARY

The post holder will managing and lead the effective high quality delivery of the Grief Encounter therapeutic services, including online services, through a team of Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, placement students and volunteers.

Join Cadet Digital Service as our Digital Training Officer and play a pivotal role in empowering our volunteers and staff through expertly designed and delivered training programs. This exciting opportunity is perfect for those passionate about education and technology, offering the chance to develop comprehensive training for our systems. You'll leverage your expertise in training development, delivery, and evaluation to enhance user proficiency, support the adoption of new technologies, and drive organisational efficiency.

Essential Skills

· Understanding of MIS and IS platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

· Knowledge of system functionalities, data management, and security practices.

· Good general education with evidence of continuing personal and professional development

· Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs.

· Experience with adult learning principles and various training methodologies

· Ability to manage training projects from inception to completion, including needs assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation.

· Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including IT professionals, end-users, and senior management.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Our charity

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. Together we want to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and be inspired through their cadet experience.

We want to develop the youth leadership and training abilities of adult volunteers whilst also helping young people to access cadet activities through fundraising, grant-making, developing new resources and direct support.
