Citadel is a volunteer-led project preventing homelessness by helping people find or sustain their tenancies and establish a home. Volunteers, once recruited, trained and DBS checked are matched with those referred for support. Job Purpose

Together As One (formerly Aik Saath) has delivered a variety of youth services across Slough for over 25 years and a young carers service for almost 10 years.
“Young carers are children and young people (up to the age of 18 or 25 with SEND) whose life is affected by looking after someone with a disability or long-term illness. The person they care for may be a parent, a sibling, another family member or a friend, but need not necessarily live in the same house as them. The care that young carers give may be practical, physical and/or emotional.”
The terms ‘disability’ and ‘long-term illness’ do not just mean a physical disability or illness, but also cover, for example, mental illness, learning disability, substance misuse, frailty and old age.
Job Role
Working closely with the Chief Executive and the wider Together As One team, you will support the development and delivery of our Young Carers Service in Slough. This will involve the oversight of any emergent funding or contracts and the reporting requirements back to the funders. This post will involve adapting and coordinating a service around the service users’ needs.
You will work in partnership with Slough Children Frist and Slough Borough Council and ensure a coordinated approach to supporting young carers is maintained including the transition from a young carer to an adult carer pathway is developed and formed. Promotion of the service will be a key aspect of this role and you will ensure that the service is promoted across various platforms.
The role will be required to network and maintain relationships with our strategic partners, including the ability to attend key meetings to develop the Slough Young Carers offer. You will become the main point of contact for the triage of referrals and communications.
You will work to identify and support volunteers to become engaged within our services and provision. You will collate a range of data, information and imagery that creates evidence of your work and the impact it is making not only to young people but also to the wider community.
There is scope for you to be creative in this role and make a significant difference to the young people you work with. This is a very exciting and varied role and as such, a flexible approach to work including willingness to take on tasks outside of the normal remit and to work irregular hours, is essential in this role.

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes.
Our Education Programmes are focused on engaging primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges across the UK to take part in our programmes and ensure LGBT+ young people can thrive. Programme delivery:
- Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes, including Pride Groups, School Talks and School Diversity Week

Operational Support Coordinator

Facing the Future is a Samaritans service offering peer support groups to people bereaved by suicide. Since transferring the groups online in February 2021, we have supported over 800 people who have experienced loss by suicide. The team of facilitators has grown in that time from 15 to nearly 100 from all over the UK and Ireland. To help us move forward, we are looking for an empathetic individual strong on attention to detail and IT skills to be our Administrator. This role is designed to give operational support to the service, the volunteer leadership team and to our volunteer Facilitators and Supervisors as we work together to deliver our mission that no-one should have to face this isolating bereavement alone.
The responsibilities of the role are many and varied and will suit someone who is comfortable with managing a variety of tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include managing our confidential databases, and the processes involved in setting up groups for those people on our waiting list, managing communications to group participants and to Facilitators, and supporting our training programme .
This is a part time remote working role with support from the team at Central London Samaritans.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator who is highly organised and remains calm under pressure. Importantly they should be able to manage change as we will be transferring our current systems over to Salesforce. Good listening skills are essential.

The role:
Housing Officers work within PBHA’s Housing Team to provide a quality housing management service to tenants with additional tenancy sustainment needs. Post holders will work from PBHA’s main office in Haggerston, with access to local offices where appropriate. However, most of the work will be in tenants’ homes in the community. The post holder will be issued the IT equipment necessary to facilitate mobile working.
Aims of the post
Housing Officers work with vulnerable tenants to enable them to sustain their tenancy and participate in their community.
Specific Responsibilities
• To be responsible for working a caseload of tenants within a locality.
• Identifying individual tenancy needs through assessment and an identified Housing Plan detailing risks, needs and move on plans.
• Regular contact with tenants as per plan.
• Provide a weekly housing management drop in at PBHA’s hubs.
• Ensure that tenants apply for benefits where eligible, and signpost tenants to information on how to maximise income
• Record and monitor any breaches of tenancy agreement and work proactively and within procedures to resolve them.
• Liaise with housing officers, the finance and adult learning departments to provide effective prevention and management of rent issues, escalating where necessary in accordance with arrears policy and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure void targets are met and properties are let within agreed timescale.
• Assist in the moving in/out process.
• Ensure tenants understand their rights and responsibilities in their occupancy agreements.
• Deal with complaints, nuisance and tenancy disputes as they arise. Work with tenants to promote self-help and mediation approaches to dispute resolution and address and escalate in line with procedure.
• Inspect and order furniture, assisting tenants where they are able to do so.
• Recharge former tenants where applicable.
• Carry out regular building inspections, helping tenants to report repairs.
• Take pride in PBHA’s property and assets and encourage tenants to do so.
• Enforce the conditions of tenancy that enable PBHA to undertake urgent works such as gas servicing.
• Carry out H&S and fire checks and assessment, liaising closely with others to ensure that follow up actions are completed.

Accountability
The post holder is accountable to the Housing Coordinator (Supported Housing).
Main Conditions of Service
This is a part-time position. The post is for 18.75 hours per week. Duties will occasionally be carried out over evenings and some public holidays. Overtime is not paid but in line with Agile working, hours can be averaged out over a 2-week period. PBHA implements Agile working practices which are to be negotiated with the line manager.
Annual leave entitlement is 26 days per year (pro rata) plus normal bank holidays pro rata (inclusive of bank holidays). This will rise after each completed year of service to a maximum of 30 days (pro rata).
Salaries are revised each year. The starting salary for this post will be £30,285 pro rata (SCP 8-12).
The post holder will be auto enrolled to be a member of the organisation's contributory pension scheme if eligible.
In common with all posts at PBHA, confirmation of appointment is subject to a probationary period (6 months).

About the Mint House
Our aim at the Mint House is that restorative justice and practice become embedded within organisations and communities, being seen as a natural part of 'how we do things' across a range of settings. We work towards this through events and communications designed to introduce restorative justice and practice to new audiences and share learning on effective practice, by providing training and support, through network building, thought leadership and practical projects. Among examples:
- helped by the appointment of a part-time communications officer in 2021 we now have a 500+ strong network of event participants and supporters from across sectors and extending round the globe (though with a sizeable Oxfordshire contingent).
- since 2021 we have trained over 200 managers and staff from Oxfordshire County Council's children's workforce (social workers, family support workers etc) in restorative practice, backing up training with reflective practice sessions and practical resources. More recently, we have been providing similar training and support for colleagues in forensic mental health settings. We are an accredited training provider with the Restorative Justice Council.
- many of our events have a network-building dimension. We also specifically facilitate a network of UK-based colleagues working to create restorative communities and cities, and a network of communications specialists working in our field.
- with support from the Westhill Endowment, we recently hosted two sets of research and practice dialogues, bringing people from diverse backgrounds together to explore what’s involved in embedding restorative practice in organisations and communities.
- we are currently working with partners from across Oxford to pilot use of restorative approaches to reduce evictions of former rough sleepers from supported accommodation.
Training & Projects Officer role
Context
In 2023 we drew up a new strategy and business plan. This exercise underlined that the transformational change we want to see depends on us collaborating with many different organisations and communities, exploring with them what it means to be restorative in their context then working with them to make and learn from the changes needed.
Through our work so far we have encountered many potential collaboration partners. Working alongside our part-time Communications and Events Officer your role as Training and Projects Officer will be to help us implement existing partnership projects and develop new ones. We have funding available to support this post for 12 months initially but aim to make the role sustainable as new projects come onstream.
We expect the role to be home based, but with a need to visit clients/project partners and attend meetings/events in Oxford or the surrounding area on a regular basis. Wider travel to partner events/meetings may also be required from time to time.
Purpose
Support the delivery and further development of ‘on the ground' initiatives demonstrating the difference restorative justice and practice can make to building healthy relationships and promoting peace and reconciliation. As part of this, orchestrate delivery of training and support contracts.
Key responsibilities
a. Manage implementation of existing ‘on the ground’ projects, notably including our Matilda House trailblazer housing project.
b. Co-ordinate delivery of training and support, liaising with clients to understand delivery requirements and with in-house and associate trainers to confirm their availability.
c. Support the team of associate trainers, ensuring they are well prepared and supported, with access to continuing development and opportunities for reflective practice.
d. Ensure the quality of training, including ensuring the continuing development of materials and that training is tailored to the delivery setting.
e. Work with trustees to shape and introduce new projects, including liaising with partners, drawing up project plans and budgets and laying the groundwork for new projects as they come onstream. As part of this, and as time allows, input into funding applications
f. Monitor project and training delivery and spend, capturing learning and reporting as required to trustees and external funders.

The role

The overall aim of all Register Preparation Training is to ensure that the professionals who deliver UK-Med’s responses are well prepared, know what to expect, and deliver the best possible responses resulting in positive health outcomes for the patients and communities we serve.
The Training Officer plays an essential role in ensuring that UK-Med delivers high-quality Preparation Training to our global workforce, which consists of both Core Staff and a Register of approx. 1200 healthcare professionals from all over the world. The Training Officer works closely with the Programme Manager – Training and Learning Design Specialist on preparing, coordinating and delivering highly interactive in-person simulation exercises, scenario-based tabletop exercises, and online exercises, training sessions and workshops from UK-Med’s training portfolio, and in contributing actively to learning and improvement for all training.
The Training Officer is a skilled trainer with a particular interest and/ or experience in delivering simulation-based training, adventure/ outdoor education, etc., weaving practical skills-building into scenarios which are evolving in real time. Furthermore, the Training Officer is accomplished in ensuring that all practical preparation and coordination of training activities is handled in a timely and expert manner in close collaboration with colleagues, to ensure a professional learning experience for participants and faculty members.

Aid Box Community (ABC) is a Bristol charity that provides hope, love and a sense of belonging to people seeking asylum in Bristol. The charity was started 7 years ago on the Refugee camps in France by a local mum and has grown and evolved to support over 5000 people a year through our Free Shop and Welcome Hub, Activity Groups and Trips and Connections Befriending program. We have 336 volunteers and a fantastic, small team and we are looking for a part time Finance Officer.
The job is for 15hrs a week ideally to be worked over 2 or 3 days Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Based at the ABC office, Portland Square, Bristol and some home working on agreement.

Job Description:
The Finance Officer will have a wide variety of financial management and control tasks from day to day bookkeeping to filing year end accounts. They will formally report to the Director of Strategy and liaise regularly with the Board Treasurer.
Role Overview
The Finance Officer is responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day aspects of the financial management of Aid Box Community (ABC):

Fundraising

Background:
Central London Samaritans (CLS) is the largest of Samaritans’ 201 branches.
Based in the heart of Soho (*), 450 volunteers deliver the Samaritans service round the clock, every day of the year providing support for anyone struggling to cope. Our core objective is to deliver services that support the Samaritans vision that fewer people will die by suicide. Assisted by a small staff team, volunteers manage over 100,000 contacts a year of which, pre-pandemic, 4,500 were face to face visits.
As well as delivering services in our Marshall Street centre, we also work in the community across seven London boroughs. From providing emotional support for London’s homeless, to running peer-to-peer listener programmes at Brixton prison, and delivering talks and workshops to schools and workplaces, we pride ourselves on the support we give to our community. Our volunteers also offer emotional support following any form of crisis affecting Londoners, such as the London Bridge attacks and the Grenfell Tower fire.
Role description:
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the community events fundraising plans and activities. You will be managing a select number of events, along with engaging with the community and businesses to develop and implement plans for maximising income and support from individuals, groups and businesses.
