We are hiring for two Health Information Senior Officer posts and looking for individuals who are skilled at producing accessible, evidence-based information and passionate about working to improve the lives of everyone affected by Crohn's and Colitis.  As Health Information Senior Officers at Crohn's and Colitis UK, you'll join a skilled and dedicated team. Our Location

 We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home,  although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. There is a requirement for you to attend a minimum of 12 in person days a year, including two Directorate meetings and the charity’s mandatory ‘All Staff Together’ days which take place four times a year at our offices in Hatfield or a location in London.

About the role

We are a charity that provides loving, compassionate care and support for veterans and their families, living with disability or dementia. We do this through our Homes and our services reaching into the community. As we continue to grow and strengthen our reach, we are looking for an experienced and visionary Digital Marketing Manager to join us on a 12-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident digital leader with a proven track record in shaping strategy, planning impactful campaigns, and driving digital performance. Key responsibilities

Strategy & planning

· Develop and manage a coherent digital marketing roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, and improved user experience.

· Develop digital audience development strategies that strengthen engagement, conversion, and retention across multiple channels.

· To manage the digital marketing integration of Care for Veterans into The Royal Star & Garter Group, ensuring alignment of websites, social media platforms, messaging, and audience engagement.

· Working with relevant Fundraising teams, drive the strategic use of email marketing and automation to nurture relationships and deepen supporter engagement.

Data, Insight & Innovation

• Lead a data-driven approach to digital marketing, ensuring robust tracking, reporting, and analysis of all activity.
• Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for digital channels, using insight to inform continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement new digital tools, platforms, and approaches to improve marketing reach, engagement, and conversion.

Management & process

· Manage, develop, and inspire the Digital Marketing Officer and Legacy Marketing Officer, providing clear direction, feedback, and opportunities for growth.

· Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring spend is efficient, effective, and aligned to strategic priorities.

· Manage the digital content library, including video case studies and photography, ensuring assets are well-managed and accessible.

· Maintain oversight of all digital workflows and project scheduling, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.

· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency of message and visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

· Ensure compliance with data protection, accessibility, and fundraising regulations

Job Purpose

Join our dedicated Data & Technology department at Operation Smile UK and play a vital role in advancing our digital capabilities. Our website is central to reaching a broad audience with our vital work, and you'll be pivotal in ensuring our online presence is robust, accessible, and effective.

This full-stack role provides an excellent opportunity to lead and contribute across both front-end and back-end development activities. You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Data & Technology and Senior Database Manager to design and build systems that empower our Fundraising and Comms teams, delivering outstanding user experiences.

We aim to build greater in-house capacity for digital development, reducing reliance on external support for routine tasks and increasing automation on key platforms. If you are a hands-on technical lead with experience across various digital channels such as website CMS (e.g., WordPress), along with a solid understanding of front-end and back-end languages and technologies, you'll be a great fit. You will also play a leading role in ensuring the OSUK website user interface and user experience is fit for purpose.

As part of our small but ambitious team, you'll be an integral part of creating and implementing our Data and Digital strategy, directly helping us achieve our goal of supporting more children born with a cleft lip and cleft palate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in-house web development, initiating a cultural shift to minimise reliance on external agencies for website and platform creation.

About the role

About the role

The Developer (Full-stack) plays a key role in developing and enhancing user-centric digital products at Christian Aid. This position focuses on delivering high-quality front-end (70%) and back-end (30%) solutions on the Drupal CMS, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.

Brief role description

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of our website, email marketing, and digital assets. They will play a key role in user engagement, service promotion, and data-driven decision-making. They will manage and optimise our WordPress website and DotDigital email platform, ensuring all content aligns with brand and accessibility standards. We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications and Engagement Officer who can effectively convey the life-changing impact of our work, motivate our community to volunteer, donate and fundraise to support our work, and ensure that the information and educational resources we provide reach those who need them most.

Key Responsibilities 

Communications:

· Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure timely and appropriate replies.

· Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging content and posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.

· Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.

· Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.

· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.

· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.

· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.

· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.

· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.

· Help oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.

· Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.

· Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.

Engagement:

 · Provide support for online events programmes, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and the Online Events Committee.  The type of support to be provided includes hosting Zoom sessions, supporting speakers, follow up administration including evaluations.

· Support IPWSO’s Famcare Board by facilitating their online meetings and assisting with their online events.

· Work with the Project and Operations Manager to provide membership support, liaising with IPWSO’s member organisations as needed.

· Proactively engage with member associations to promote IPWSO and also to understand their needs and how IPWSO can be of help.

· Work with the Project and Operations Manager on our Educational Outreach programmes.  Work will include liaising with event organisers with regards to IPWSO’s booths at different conferences, ensuring follow up as needed (including help with preparation of PowerPoint slides), engagement follow up including data entry to update our database (Donorfy).

Thames21 is an environmental charity that works across London and the Thames Basin to deliver high-impact, nature-based solutions to the climate and biodiversity crisis by restoring rivers, while also connecting communities to their local green-blue spaces and inspiring long-term stewardship of them. 

Purpose of the job

We are seeking a skilled engagement officer to deliver an innovative programme of community-led river engagement activities in and surrounding the River Roding as part of a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, ‘The Roding Rises’. This role will engage with groups from the urban and rural reaches of the river Roding catchment to co-design activities that support the delivery of The Roding Rises activity plan and encourage participants along an engagement pathway from awareness to participation and independent action. This role offers the post holder the opportunity to make a difference in diverse areas of London, with varying challenges and a range of ambitions.

The key skill for this role is being able to connect with and bring people together. The project relies on creating strong networks of grassroots organisations, community leaders and representatives from the public and private sectors, including councillors and politicians.

You might be working from home, or out of our offices in Bow or Guildhall, or be out and about with a community group or local organisation, co-producing an engagement event.

You might be posting on social media or updating the web page. You may be working on strategic, long-term plans to share the learnings from the project. You’ll be thinking both big and small on any given day!

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Work with The Roding Rises Project Team, local community organisations and representatives to co-produce and deliver an inclusive and culturally relevant programme of 21 events and activities over the three-year life of the project as part of the River Connections programme of events within The Roding Rises activity plan.

2. Work with The Roding Rises Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of the externally contracted River Testimonies and Roding Arts and Walking Festival and community co-development aspects of the Roding Masterplan.

3. Support community groups and partners with community-focused applications to the Roding grants scheme

4. In partnership with colleagues, conduct inclusive outreach activities that will engage a wide diversity of people with a range of backgrounds and life experiences, from both rural and urban areas in our core locations.

5. Build a catchment-wide community network, uploading details to Thames21’s CRM system in line with GDPR.

6. Collect and record qualitative and quantitative data on events and activities run, including written and verbal feedback from partners and participants, photos and numbers of attendees, keeping to GDPR requirements. Evaluate this information to develop the methods for engagement and inform future activities.

7. Carry out the administrative duties to run events, including conducting risk assessments and method statements, managing event registrations, liaising with local councils and community groups and maintaining and managing event equipment.  

1. Work with the Thames21 Training Officer to establish a group of volunteers who are trained in Thames21’s modules to maintain and monitor local sites. Includes supporting existing volunteers and assisting with building their capacity so groups become autonomous.
2. Represent Thames21 and The Roding Rises at relevant local forums and proactively recruit volunteers through in-person engagement events.
3. Maintain clear records of progress, ensure all administration and statistical information is kept up to date,
4. Work with Thames21’s Communications Team to promote the project, celebrate its achievements and learnings; ensure key milestones are recognised, funders are acknowledged, and volunteer opportunities are publicised.
5. Attend Thames21 Team Meetings and liaise with other Thames21 staff.

This is a creative and purpose-driven role at the heart of our charity’s communications. As Senior Communications Officer, you’ll help us tell powerful stories, share our impact, and build connections with our members, supporters and partners.

You’ll lead on producing engaging digital content, managing our social media and newsletters, and keeping our website fresh and accessible. You’ll also support light-touch fundraising campaigns, helping us grow our income and supporter base.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining creativity with strategy, you’ll use your writing, design and digital skills to make our work visible and compelling, while ensuring the voices of those living with rare conditions remain at the centre of everything we do.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Membership and Communications and our new Director of Engagement and Impact, contributing ideas that strengthen how we engage all our audiences.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A strong communicator with at least two years’ experience in a communications role.

• Skilled in producing visual and written content for websites, social media and newsletters.

• Confident using digital tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite, Wordpress/Drupal).

• Organised, creative, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

• Motivated by making a difference for people affected by genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions.

Experience in the health, social care or charity sector would be an advantage, but curiosity and empathy matter just as much as direct experience.
