We are working in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) to deliver the Primary Care & Community Mental Health Service, supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing. The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support & Activities Coordinator to join the service. This role will lead the development and delivery of the peer support activities group programme, enabling people to develop self-management skills and reduce levels of social isolation.
You will be responsible for coordinating and supporting our team of Peer Support Volunteers, ensuring safe and effective delivery of the programme. You'll work to meet targets, develop and deliver psychoeducational and psychosocial group activities, and oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision. This will involve working closely with the Service Manager and SLaM colleagues.
The role requires strong communication and includes responsibility for dealing with safeguarding situations that may arise in your groups. Accurate record-keeping and outcome monitoring are essential. Occasional out of hours work is required.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Youth Endowment Fund
We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
Last year, 244 people in England and Wales tragically died after being assaulted with a knife. Of these, 32 were children. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them. Even when violence doesn’t strike directly, we know that the fear of violence has a terrible effect on children’s lives.
The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must deeply understand how to reduce the violence that affects young people. We then have to make this information highly relevant and accessible to the people making decisions for vulnerable young people. In practice, this means we need to find out what works and what doesn’t through high quality qualitative and quantitative research into children’s lives. We then must convert this into really accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations (like schools, councils, police forces and more) can change what they do, how the systems have to change. We then need to work with and inspire those making decisions. Together, we believe we can change things permanently for children.
At the heart of this work is our new Area Leaders Programme. It provides support to local councils on what they can do in their towns and cities to change things. To work, the sessions need to be brilliantly designed with great materials and really well delivered. This is where you come in.
About the Area Leaders Programme
The Area Leaders Programme (ALP) brings together local partnerships in a town or a city to better protect children from being drawn into violence. These partnerships often include the police, youth justice services, children’s services, health, education, youth and community organisations.
We aim to do this by supporting areas to develop the five Ps of violence prevention:
- Partnerships: Build strong, accountable partnerships with clear roles, governance, and measurable goals.
- Profile: Understand the local drivers, context, and patterns of serious violence.
- People: Identify the children most at risk and ensure they get the right support at the right time.
- Places: Pinpoint high-risk locations and take action to make them safer.
- Practice: Share and apply best practice consistently across all key agencies.
About the role
As Senior Designer and Facilitator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how ALP supports local partnerships. You’ll help turn evidence into practical action by designing engaging workshops, tools and resources that help professionals plan and work together more effectively. You will also take a leading role in facilitating active and inspiring workshops.
You’ll work closely with the ALP Change Lead, Senior Manager, our delivery partners and the wider Change team to make sure we’re constantly improving the support we offer.

You must have significant experience in:
- A relevant design discipline, this could be service design, systems design, speculative design, policy design or a similar field.
- Applying design skills to address social purpose and/or inequalities.
- Workshop facilitation with participants from diverse professional backgrounds.
Ideally you will also have this sort of experience (but it’s not necessary to apply):
- A formal qualification in a relevant area of design, or applying design for social purpose, or relevant experience.
- First-hand knowledge of the system that supports highly vulnerable children, particularly those at risk of or involved in violence. You understand the barriers these children face and what it takes to get them the right support.

Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.
The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

Main Purpose of Job
The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.
The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.
The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.

Responsibilities
Event Planning and programme delivery
- Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
- Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
- Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
- Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.
- Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.
Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
- Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.
Youth Engagement and support
- Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
- Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
- Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.

What is the overall purpose of the role?
At Youth Action Alliance, our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present and promote their ambitions for the future.

To achieve this, we are seeking to appoint a Lead Worker for the Irish Traveller cohort to develop and deliver an innovative and progressive project in a safe, industrious, and supportive environment, working primarily with this community.
The project provides the following for Irish Traveller young people 11-19 years old including;
- A weekly girls’ workshop
- Targeted mentoring and support - helping them to stay in education, enrol in college, seek work opportunities, and access additional support services.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Plan and deliver an innovative, progressive programme of activities, developed in collaboration with young people and colleagues.
- Create safe, supportive spaces that foster personal and social development.
- Deliver 1 to1 and group support sessions through a variety of methods (in-person, phone, digital), providing advice, guidance, mentoring, and signposting to other services.
- Organise trips, workshops, and positive activities in line with the project delivery plan.

You will be joining our small, passionate NGO to manage our programme implementation and delivery. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be tasked with managing the distribution and delivery of our programmes. Role Purpose
RISE strives for a world where people can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people, are victims of crime. In order to create safe communities, RISE empowers people to break their cycle of harmful behaviour. RISE’s programmes challenge attitudes and facilitate long-lasting behaviour change and are driven by the belief that people, including children and young people, can make better decisions, given the right support. RISE are specialists in designing and delivering evidence-based, transformative behaviour change courses within the criminal justice system and wider community.
The Advanced Practitioner will manage a caseload of 70% which will involve direct work with service users. The post holder is also required to coach, mentor and develop staff and deliver regular workshops to enhance their skills and expertise in specific area. Additionally, there is a requirement to exercise enhanced responsibilities in relation to conducting specialist risk assessments and work with service users and families. Such responsibilities will include the ability to demonstrate enhanced levels of practice, competence/skills in areas such as direct practice with service users, children and families, multi-agency working, knowledge of organisational systems and processes and the wider social policy context.
The post holder will be required to represent RISE when meeting with external commissioners and key stakeholders, as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery – 70% of workload
- Engage in direct practice with service users, children and families including, where appropriate, co-working with other practitioners (to develop their skills and expertise).
- Use initiative to make decisions to ensure continuity of service delivery.
- Promote and represent RISE Mutual CIC services as required at relevant events.

Record Keeping
