ReachOut is a national youth development charity and a strategic partner for schools. Through collective mentoring and engaging activities, we build socio-emotional skills that transform outcomes for young people constrained by circumstance.
Our Youth Development Leads are the heart of our programme delivery and facilitate high quality and impactful sessions for our young people. Reporting to the Programmes and Impact Manager, you’ll work with autonomy to manage your school partners, develop your team of volunteer mentors and collaborate across our ambitious delivery team with a focus on evidence based continuous improvement.
Contract: Permanent, part-time (0.8FTE) with a probationary period of 6 months

We are looking for new sessional workers to join our Young Carers team. Our sessional workers play a key role in supporting the delivery of a programme of activities designed for our young carers aged 5 to 15 and the delivery of monthly peer support groups and activities for young adult carers aged 16 to 21.
Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting unpaid carers across the borough with 1-1 and peer support, signposting, monthly forums, training, workshops and social activities. Our young carers team works with children from the age of 5 upwards, offering support and information to young carers and their families. Adventure, friendship and support are super-important for young carers, so we split our work into four areas:
We organise a mixture of exciting activities throughout the year
We run monthly young carers groups – a space to relax and have fun
We provide a listening ear and relevant help to young carers and their families
We run dedicated projects working with schools to support young carers with their education

Our holiday and weekend activities give parents and carers a break while providing participants with a safe, welcoming space to have fun and receive the care they need. Our coordinators plan, arrange and deliver a programme of activities shaped around the needs of the young people, making the most of local opportunities, from heritage sites and outdoor adventures, to sports, arts and crafts, cooking, and team challenges. These sessions help children build friendships, grow in confidence, and express themselves in a fun, supportive space.
Family day activities bring families together to create special memories and enjoy time with others who share similar experiences. Coordinators develop and facilitate activity days which involve the whole family and provide opportunities to build friendships and connections with others. Activities take place at outdoor centres, local heritage sites and museums, as well as organised beach days and community centre-based workshops and activities.
Applicants should have relevant experience of working or volunteering with children and young people in education, health or social care, and have exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Full and part-time positions available, and coordinators are required to work most Saturdays. In school holiday periods, more activities take place on weekdays (instead of Saturdays), so flexibility is needed. Activities are delivered across Kent, so some travel is required.

Every young person deserves someone who believes in them.
As a Sports coach & youth mentor, you'll play a vital role in that journey. Alongside your coaching partner, you'll deliver engaging sports sessions, mentoring and workshops that inspire young people, build trust and help them realise their potential. Whether you're supporting a young person one-to-one, leading a group activity or helping deliver enrichment events, you'll be creating opportunities for young people to succeed.
This is more than a coaching role. It's an opportunity to be a positive role model, build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across Hastings & Bexhill.
You do not need to know rugby to apply. The rugby side can be taught, and plenty of people in the team started with youth work or mentoring experience rather than a sports coaching background.
Day to day, you’ll work with schools, alternative provision teams and community partners to keep sessions safe, productive and well-organised. You’ll also support holiday activities, career taster days and enrichment trips, giving young people positive things to be part of outside school.

At Camden Young Person’s High Support Accommodation, this role will help turn the practical side of housing into something young people can learn from, build confidence in and use as a stepping stone towards independence.
As Young Person’s Worker — Housing Focus, you’ll support the smooth running of the accommodation while working directly with young people around the housing responsibilities linked to their stay.
