The Programmes Officer will play an integral part in the Employability team to help deliver on these initiatives and the long-term aims of the organisation. This role will primarily support the delivery of Pathways Online and Access Apprenticeships (delivered both online and in person), currently covering the Law, Banking & Finance and Engineering sectors. The officer will support programmes in 2 of the 3 sectors highlighted.

This role will sit within the Employability team, which is a subdivision of the Programmes team, led by the Head of Employability. The role will be line managed by the Employability Programmes Manager.

Main duties

• Onboarding of new cohorts of students for our Pathways Online and Access Apprenticeships Programmes

• Delivering both online and in-person events for students across the programmes. Duties include presenting activities, organising logistics, providing technical support, and encouraging student engagement

• Be the main point of contact for students on the programme. Including leading on student comms (newsletter and info packs), responding to student enquiries and building relationships with beneficiaries to ensure that we are provide tailored and impactful support.

• Using student data to monitor engagement and develop strategies to enhance engagement and participation

• Maintaining and updating the Trust's CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure accurate beneficiary details and activity records.

• Arranging and booking of student travel for in person events and work experience placements

• Use our online platform (Sutton Trust Online) to drive student engagement through creating and updating content

• Liaising with external stakeholders such as universities and employers to support logistical and administrative elements of programme delivery

• Supporting on the creation of reports for funders and programme partners based on student engagement and feedback data

• Providing administrative support to the Sutton Trust team as required across our suite of employability programmes

• Responding to student facing inboxes and the Sutton Trust Helpdesk and phoneline to support with enquiries across the programmes team

• Actively working to foster a positive safeguarding culture within all aspects of work

• Other duties as necessary from time to time.

Person Specification

We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:

• Programme organisation and delivery, including planning, administration and logistics

• Delivering engaging events for young people, ideally including presentation or facilitation skills

• Providing guidance and support to beneficiaries on an ongoing basis

• Writing impactful copy for communications such as newsletters and/or digital content

• Managing data with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce);

• Analysing engagement data to generate insights and improve programming

• Programme monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and administration;

• Working within or an understanding of the not for profit sector and/or the higher education sectors;

We are also looking for an individual who:

• Is confident in delivering both online and in person activities

• Has strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

• Can build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups

• Has excellent interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton Trust in a range of settings

Terms of Appointment

• Working location: Minimum of 2 office days per week

The Brent Centre for Young People 

The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 800 young people a year with a wide range of issues. The Role

As HR Officer, you will play a role in bringing structure, consistency and clarity to Brent Centre’s HR processes. You will deliver practical, people-focused support across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment, onboarding to contract changes, developing and updating organisational policies, helping to strengthen and develop how HR supports colleagues across the organisation.

About the role

The Research Officer supports Kinship in building a strong and coordinated evidence base about kinship families, and ensures our influencing work is grounded in real experience.

The role supports the design, delivery and communication of high-quality research, insights and evaluation that shapes policy, practice and service development. It also supports the coordination and operational delivery of research and practice activity, helping ensure projects, networks and events run effectively and that insights are shared across the organisation and the wider sector.

They will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Policy, Programmes, Peer Support and Communications. • Experience of kinship care or social care research in the UK or comparable settings

We provide accommodation, health support, and life skills to help young people move into education, training, and employment so they can build independent, sustainable futures. About the Independent Living Programme

Centrepoint’s Independent Living Programme (ILP) is delivering 300 genuinely affordable homes across London and Greater Manchester for young people moving on from homelessness. With 50 homes already built and £23m secured, the Independent Living Capital Appeal is raising a further £27m to complete the programme.

The Role

The Independent Living Capital Appeal Manager will play a key role in delivering this ambitious programme. You will be responsible for helping to deliver the £27m appeal target by managing and growing a portfolio of high-value donors and grant-makers, securing five and six figure gifts, and developing a strong pipeline of new prospects.

Working closely with the Head of Independent Living Appeal, you will lead the cultivation and solicitation of high-value supporters while delivering an outstanding donor experience. You will also work closely with development and programme colleagues to align fundraising with live housing developments and future pipeline opportunities.

You will:

• Lead and grow a portfolio of donors and prospects, securing new and repeat five and six figure gifts
• Identify, qualify and cultivate new prospects to strengthen the appeal pipeline

Brand, commercial performance and income 

• Oversee the design and delivery of effective marketing and communications strategies that are developed and effectively delivered, to retain existing and grow new audiences for dance in the northeast and to promote the Dance City brand.

• Be proactive in the development and delivery of effective fundraising and income generation strategies for Dance City, to ensure that contributed income grows and is diversified, and to develop commercial opportunities enabled by the building and programme.

Finance and operations

• Has held a senior role in a cultural venue or within an organisation with a substantial arts programme or partnerships; is well networked in and beyond the cultural and creative industries. 

• Understanding of the current landscape and eco-system in the cultural sector and awareness of local/national political initiatives that will impact on - and create opportunities for - Dance City and its partner organisations.

• Understanding of the legal, fiscal, social and political context within which the arts operate, and the contribution they make to health, education, social cohesion and civic pride.

• Understanding of the needs of dance as an art form and a commitment to best practice and to promoting inclusion and equality of opportunity.

• An inclusive leader with experience of overseeing organisational transformation and managing change. 

• A track record in relationship building, working in partnership with a range of funders, agencies and organisations, and of successful fundraising and income generation from a range of sources.

Following the successful secondment of a valued team member, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Wales team as an Operations Officer on a fixed‑term basis.
 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the operational delivery and development of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE), helping more young people to access our life‑changing programmes.
 

As an Operations Officer, you will manage and support a portfolio of Licensed Organisations (LOs) to ensure the delivery of a high‑quality DofE programme. Most LOs are schools, but you will also work with a diverse range of partners, including colleges, local authorities, charities, pupil referral units, youth groups and young offender institutions.
 

You will work closely with a team of Operations Officers across Wales, each responsible for their own portfolio. The role is field‑based, involving regular travel to meetings and events. When not attending meetings, you will work from home, and applicants must live within or very close to the allocated portfolio area.
 

Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day‑to‑day contact with LOs and for supporting delivery of the Wales Business Plan. You will be a passionate advocate for the DofE, motivated to help achieve our ambition of giving more than one million young people the opportunity to participate in our programmes.

Welsh Language

The DofE has been recognised by the Welsh Language Commissioner for our Welsh language provision. Applications from Welsh‑speaking candidates are actively encouraged. Non‑Welsh speakers will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to developing their Welsh language skills.

Key Accountabilities

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Licensed Organisations to support high‑quality programme delivery across your portfolio.

• Use online management tools to budget, forecast and track targets, and ensure effective use of eDofE across the portfolio.

• Increase participation among young people who experience marginalisation, helping to expand reach and promote inclusivity.
• Support the preparation, monitoring and reporting of externally funded projects and grant applications.
• Attend and support national events, such as Gold Award Events, which may occasionally require overnight stays or weekend travel.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the UK, contributing to project and working groups.
• Support the implementation of the DofE strategy and the Wales Business Plan.

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. We work closely with social workers and representatives from other agencies to benefit the young people in our care.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and values‑led Accommodation & Facilities Manager to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and welcoming management of all Baca accommodation, offices and service delivery spaces.

This is a critical role within our service model. You will ensure that young people are provided with homes they can truly call their own, while staff and volunteers have safe, functional, culturally respectful environments in which to work. You will also lead our premises team and work closely with contractors, landlords and partners to deliver high‑quality, compliant properties across our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of all Baca accommodation, offices, and service delivery spaces applying practical and technical knowledge and experience to diagnose maintenance issues, oversee and complete repairs.
• Ensure properties are safe, welcoming, culturally appropriate, and fully compliant with health & safety and regulatory standards
• Lead maintenance planning to support short-, medium-, and long-term property sustainability

If so, we have a role for you to impact our growing Individual Giving programme.

We are looking for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our Public Fundraising team at Mencap. You will lead the planning and delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns across cash, lottery, regular giving, value exchange, raffle and payroll giving channels, working across face to face, direct mail, email, digital and telephone. You will work closely with colleagues in Legacy, Wills and Trusts, Community Fundraising and Challenge Events to deliver joined up supporter journeys that increase lifetime value and broaden our audience reach. Reporting to the Senior Individual Giving Manager, you will play a key part in delivering our Mencap 2030 strategy.

This is a permanent, full‑time position. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with a requirement to attend our London office for a minimum of two days per week. Occasional travel within the UK may also be required.

What you will do

· Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of direct marketing campaigns, including campaign schedules, briefs, copywriting, data checks, print and postage processing, finance processing and stakeholder management.

· Manage campaign budgets, monitor KPIs and report on performance, delivering activity on time and to a high standard.

· Build and manage complex data selections and automated email journeys, supporting the roll out of our new CRM and using insight to improve targeting and results.

· Keep the supporter at the heart of the journey by creating authentic, compelling stories and personalised donor journeys that drive repeat giving, upsell and cross sell.
