The Partnership Manager role will report to the CEO and sit within the Business Development Team.

Salary: Band B, £24k to £30k, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.
· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective partners from across companies, trusts and foundations.
· Research and maintain an on-going, sustainable pipeline of prospects including new trusts and foundations, companies and industry sectors.
· Plan, prepare and write compelling applications for funding.
· Build effective relationships with funders in order to secure long-term funding and support. Achieve income targets that support the delivery and fundraising goals.
· Keep accurate, relevant, timely records on our CRM and maintain regular communication with relevant teams including operations, finance, marketing and fundraising teams.
· Create inspiring reports and updates for funders that bring to life the impact of their support and demonstrate first class stewardship.

· Work closely with relevant teams to embed monitoring and evaluation throughout the funding process. Report on progress, results and income in a timely manner.
· Work with the Fundraising Manager with analysing trends to support the fundraising strategy.
Competencies and Attributes:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience of planning, preparing and writing high quality bids, funding applications and reports.

Main duties and responsibilities

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work across two schools in Greenwich, London. Our schools are shown on a map The Access Project schools on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
• Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
• Match students with volunteer tutors
• Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance
• Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
• Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
• Monitor the impact of tutorials, and intervene as appropriate
• Build and manage relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
• Manage tutor relationships and attendance to tutorials through weekly monitoring of systems, emailing and making phone calls.
• Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
• Chair and present at termly school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
• University Access Officers support the volunteering team by helping to deliver tutor training sessions, and attending university site visits, which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).

About this pivotal role

Working as an Education Welfare and Inclusion Mentor you will have relevant experience of successfully engaging and working with children and young people in an inclusive, relational and restorative capacity to secure positive outcomes. Our successful candidate will be embedded in a secondary school offering intensive one-to-one mentoring to young people who have been identified by their education setting as needing targeted support.
You will work closely with the education setting to prioritise safeguarding and contribute to a shared aim of reducing exclusions, reduce risky behaviour and raise aspirations.
To secure this role:
- You must have a proven track record of engaging positively with young people, young offenders or other vulnerable groups, plus providing support, advocacy, and the ability to assess clients’ needs.
- Want to work in an embedded setting in schools.
- Be able to establish positive and professional relationships with the children, young people, and professionals.
- Be able to build trust and create a safe space for children and young people in which to explore challenging and potentially traumatic issues and topics.
- Have experience of providing 1:1 mentoring to young people.
- Be able to assist with providing monitoring information and the evaluation of the project.
- Be able to represent the organisation externally as required. This includes the ability to embed yourself and work collaboratively with the partner schools and adapting to their culture.

Streets of Growth is an outcome-driven charity, working to reduce harm and positively transform the lives of the most vulnerable and at-risk young people in East London. We do not wait for young people to walk through our doors, or to be referred by an agency, instead, we engage and reach out to young people across the streets and neighbourhoods. Working to build a relationship of trust, truth, and transformation with each young person, coaching and enabling them to support themselves to change negative lifestyles, move away from violence and harm, stay out of prison, get good jobs, and create a better future for themselves.

Contract: Permanent,Part time
Salary: £24,000 to £27,000 (pro rata for 21 hours)
Hours: 21 hours (within the hours of 2pm – 10 pm)
