The Damilola Taylor Trust (DTT) is a charitable company limited by guarantee incorporated in May 2001 in memory of Damilola Taylor and registered as a charity in July 2001.Our founding purpose is to provide inner-city youths with opportunities to play, learn and live their lives free of fear and violence, and with optimism for a future where opportunities abound. Although we have recovered from the Covid 19 pandemic, the nation now faces the worst cost of living crisis since the 1950s, thanks to the Russian Ukraine war, and now the US Israel Iran one which have disrupted the global energy market. There is no denying that, in the UK, young people (YP) are being disproportionally affected. We are deeply concerned about the impact this crisis is having on the young people that we work with across the board.
The UK youth unemployment rate for 16-24-year-olds sits at a concerning 16.2%, an 11-year high. There are over 1 million young people not in education, employment or training (NEET). We know that high numbers of vacancies do not translate into opportunities for all young people, especially those from BAME background who already face discrimination in the labour market.
We are responding to this emerging issue, by working harder and smarter to support young people that we work with for whom the transition from formal education into employment is not automatic. We work to help this group have access to economic opportunities in these challenging times. We believe that our services bridge this gap and provide opportunities for young people to develop wider social, personal and self -management skills required for productive participation and integration into society. Job purpose: Provide a range of administration services to enable the Trust to operate its day-to-day activities, management and governance processes effectively.
Roles and responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the job are:
· Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager, Trustees and Youth Board
· Provide general administrative support across the Trust, including scheduling meetings, administering our Microsoft 365 system, helping to produce reports/ letters, managing emails, facilitating in-house communication, managing our records, research, and other general duties
· Assist implementation of the Trust’s charitable programmes e.g., by providing administration support to project teams and organising promotional activities.
· Manage enquiries to the Trust and respond to routine enquiries, ensuring that actions are followed up
· Proactively manage our website day-to-day and post to our social media, consulting where necessary. Produce leaflets, publicity and newsletters
· Support our organisation development plans by helping us research and implement any new policies, processes and best practice procedures required, and maintaining the database of evidence
· Suggest administrative improvements to support the smooth running of the charity and, when agreed, implement them
Key working relationships: The post holder will work with all the Trustees (but particularly the Trustee responsible for Communications), the Programmes Manager as well as the Trust’s finance service provider. The post holder will develop good working relationships with other stakeholders including our project delivery partners, members of the Youth Board and, in some cases, young people on or applying for our programmes.

About the Role

As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across Dorset and the South Coast of Hampshire, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups-particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.

A few practical things

The role of Digital Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of The Children’s Trust’s digital communications. Working closely with the Digital Manager and wider Marketing and Communications team, the postholder will help ensure our website, email marketing and other digital activity are engaging, accessible, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities and brand guidelines.
The role will support the day-to-day management of the charity’s websites maintaining high-quality, up-to-date content with a strong user experience, alongside contributing to integrated marketing and communications activity through digital channels, including email and paid digital support. Using analytics and insight, the Digital Officer will help monitor performance, identify opportunities for optimisation and support data-driven decision making to enhance reach, engagement and user journeys.

Role Requirements
Website management
- Support the day-to-day running of the charity’s websites, managing updates from across the organisation and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structure.
- Support the Digital Manager to work with teams across the charity to ensure all website content is fresh, up-to-date and in line with our key messages, style and tone of voice.
- Support Digital Manager with ensuring websites are compliant, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned to brand, communications and organisational objectives.
- Produce content that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA) and help promote web accessibility throughout the Organisation.
- Build and maintain online forms, e.g. donations, event entries and data capture.
Campaigns and email marketing
- Assist the Digital Manager and Senior Marketing Manager with paid digital activity on small scale campaigns, covering areas such as paid social and Google ads or search campaigns and boosted posts.
- Contribute to marketing and communications plans for campaigns and projects.
- Support with review and delivery of email communications produced across the organisation to ensure they meet brand and best practice guidelines.
- Support with the creation and management of email communications using DotDigital.
- Optimise performance through A/B testing, segmentation and analytics.
- Collaborate with the Digital Manager to support and ensure effective targeting, segmentation and retargeting in our email marketing and paid campaigns.

Schools’ Project Officer
The Mark Evison Foundation aims to promote the personal development of young people through challenge. We work directly with London partner state schools, encouraging non-academic proposals for challenge from 17-year olds (Y12s). It is fascinating work, bringing out the best in young people. Students must create their own applications and challenges, decide what they want to do, research and plan the projects and present them: we help with plans (sending comments by email), careful risk assessment and funding.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a gifted schools’ project officer for a key role within a busy team based in Dulwich SE21, Southwark. The work is varied and fulfilling.
You should be a graduate from a good university, enthusiastic and very well-organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, manage priorities, work to deadlines, and take initiative. Overview
Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) is a pioneering charity aiming to improve the health, wellbeing, educational attainment and employability skills of the local community.
CACT are seeking two enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced individuals to deliver a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Flexible Support Fund employability programme, focusing on 16–24-year-olds living in Greenwich and Bexley who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). In collaboration with the DWP, CACT Employability Officer/s will design and deliver a ‘Youth Hub’ offer to support and guide young people to into Education, Employment or Training opportunities.
Job Purpose
· To work as a member of the ‘DWP Youth Hub’ project team to engage and enable young people to reach their full potential with education, training and employment opportunities.
· The project will provide one-to-one mentoring sessions with wraparound support.
· The postholder will identify and recruit a caseload of young people to support into and sustain their engagement in Education, Employment and Training.
· The programme will provide an opportunity for young people not in education, training or employment in Greater London area to access training and work experience to enable them to attain the skills and confidence to gain employment.
· The post holder will have a broad range of experience in building relationships with individuals from a range of backgrounds, alongside an ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.
· The post holder will co-ordinate and deliver one to one and group coaching sessions. Sessions will address essential skills for employment and provide practical support, interview coaching, careers information and guidance.
· The post holder will facilitate and / or signpost to wellbeing workshops and physical activity sessions to develop improved mindset, healthy lifestyles, mental health and self‐care. Working with multi-agency partners the post holder will seek to identify the barriers that have prevented young people from engaging in education and employment and help them to develop strategies to overcome these challenges
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
· To provide one to one and group employability coaching sessions; in the community and online, enabling participants to identify, assess, and address barriers to engaging with education, employment, and training, as well as sourcing the most appropriate support.
· Work with young people to understand their strengths and develop person centred, targeted plans to help them achieve positive outcomes. Create individualised progress plans, which include identification of the wraparound support that needs to be provided (e.g., support to access housing or mental health services).
· Work closely with community groups and agencies such as Skills Academies Hubs, Local Integration Hubs, Job Centre Plus, to identify and recruit young people that would benefit most from the programme.
· Support a caseload and develop, contribute to, and deliver interventions to engage young people in education training and employment.
· To develop relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that a suitably diverse life skills and employability offer that meets young people’s needs and abilities.
· To work with local key worker support service to address any barriers to inclusion for young people they are working with.
· As required contribute to multi-agency planning and assessments of young people
· To identify meaningful work placement opportunities for young people internally and externally through partnerships with local businesses, and to manage and support work placements through work placement visits
· To maintain oversight of young people participating in work placements to help them settle in, meet the expectations of their employer or training / education provider, perform at their best, and achieve their action plan goals.
· Regularly review and monitor the progress of young people on the programme and guide interventions / wraparound support.
· Maintain a record of distance travelled which demonstrates how far the participant has travelled since joining the project, for example, in terms of personal development, increased confidence, and greater levels of motivation.
· To maintain a working knowledge of education, safeguarding and effective practice in supporting young people into education, training and employment.
· To hold knowledge of the regions in which we work to maintain an up to date working knowledge of education and training providers and employers locally and ensure that young people are referred and supported into appropriate EET provision.
· Compile and submit all required monitoring to colleagues and the DWP on progress of those young people they are working with. Maintain full and accurate case records within appropriate timescales using the case management system.
· Attend training events, supervision meetings and other team, formal and informal meetings as required to contribute to professional, service and self-development.
· Support young person feedback mechanisms in the design of activities and in the continuous improvement of the project.
· To ensure good quality case studies and stories are shared with colleagues to support the promotion of the programmes.
· Fulfil other duties such as are required from time to time.

The person appointed will be employed by the Cathedral Chapter and the Line Manager for this post will be the Canon Chancellor.
The Education Officer will work with the Canon Chancellor and the expert volunteers who support this department to develop, grow and deliver the schools and formal learning offers at the cathedral. In addition, they will work with others to develop the interpretation and activities for families and children, helping them to discover the cathedral and its work.
The post of Education Officer is located within Ripon Cathedral, which is a place of Christian worship and mission within the Church of England. This is a creative and mission-led role, sitting at the heart of the cathedral’s commitment to education, outreach and discipleship. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Education Programme Development
- To develop and grow the education programme in support of the cathedral’s strategic objectives.

Leadership and Management of Volunteers
Lead, recruit, manage and develop the expert team of volunteers, creating a working environment which fosters commitment, enthusiasm and confidence with a positive safeguarding culture at its heart.

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff and volunteers to drive forward the delivery of the vision for the Cathedral. .
Formal Learning Offer
- Develop the formal learning offer at the cathedral to cover all ages and across the whole curriculum
- Create educational resources and activities aligned to the National Curriculum
- Work with partner organisations in the area to develop multi-site learning and visits
- Promote the offer to schools across the area, building up strong relationships with teachers and local networks, and act as primary contact for schools and groups.

- Work positively and collaboratively with Chapter committees and working groups to develop the learning offer
Informal Learning Offer
- Liaise and work with the Cathedral’s Children and Families Officer to devise and deliver seasonal children and family activities during school holidays

· Lead on the development of the Ambassadors programme delivery across all three target areas (West Bridgford, Cotgrave and East Leake), working towards:
o Designing and delivery of a leadership ASDAN accreditation

o Work with Ambassadors to become a local voice for the project.
· Identify and establish partnership with local voluntary youth groups, leisure and sports clubs to support the Ambassador programme.

- Work in collaboration with Holgate to identify those in need of intervention support and to create bespoke intervention packages for each referred 1:1 individual and support around key concerns / reason of initial referral.
- Support referred young people in both 1:1 intervention and group workshops through transition from Primary school to Secondary school, those struggling to engage positively in school, have formed concerning behaviour patterns and/or safeguarding concerns.
- Provide termly updates on individuals engaging with the project schools / referring agencies.
- Work in collaboration with external supporting organisations attached to individual participants (Social Care, Police etc).
- Plan, coordinate and deliver 3 x days (4 hours per day) of activity per week during school holidays.
- Support in peer and adult relationship repair where necessary.
- Provide suppOrt to young people to engage in further activities external to school within the local community.

- Experience of youth work with young people.

We’re looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to grow and support our network across Wales. This is a new role, created as we invest in strengthening how we recruit, prepare and engage our volunteers, with the opportunity to shape how this work develops.
In this role, you’ll build relationships with employers, public sector organisations and community groups to recruit volunteers from a wide range of industries. You’ll manage onboarding, support volunteers to feel confident and well-prepared to work with young people, and work closely with our Volunteer Manager and Programme Team to match volunteers to opportunities across Wales.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring volunteers have a positive, high-quality experience – providing ongoing support, responding to feedback, and helping us continuously improve how we engage and retain our network. Alongside this, you’ll track activity, maintain accurate records, and contribute to understanding our reach and impact.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and great with people, confident building relationships, managing multiple priorities and communicating clearly. You’ll bring experience of working with volunteers, or in a coordination or partnership-focused role, and have a genuine motivation to support young people to achieve their potential. And, we'd love someone who is confident communicating in the medium of Welsh.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is comfortable working across a wide geography, and is motivated by creating opportunities and delivering impact.

About the role
As our first dedicated Fundraising Officer, you'll work closely with our Partnerships & Development Manager and small income generation team, helping to grow and diversify the funding that sustains and scales our mission.
This is a hands-on, varied role with real scope to develop your fundraising career in a fast-growing charity. You'll support the income generation team with day-to-day fundraising activities across multiple income streams, with a focus on trusts and foundations alongside corporate partnerships, high net worth individuals and individual giving.
You’ll be:
- Preparing funding applications and grant writing: researching, developing, and submitting high-quality applications to trusts, foundations, and corporate funders, drafting compelling proposals that bring GoodWork's impact to life
- Prospect research and pipeline management: support with identifying new funding opportunities and maintaining accurate records of all fundraising contacts, applications, and deadlines, and helping to monitor income targets and reporting cycles
- Relationship management: supporting with building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective funders
- Funder reporting: managing reporting cycles and producing accurate, engaging impact reports that demonstrate GoodWork's value to funders
- Events and engagement: supporting the coordination of funder engagement opportunities and events

What we're looking for
We're looking for an ambitious, motivated fundraiser who is driven by GoodWork's mission and ready to take ownership of a varied and impactful role. For this role, we’re looking for someone with at least a year's experience in a charity fundraising team, with exposure to trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, high net worth, or community fundraising.
- Excellent written communication and grant writing skills: a proven ability to write compelling, persuasive funding proposals and funder reports that translate complex information into clear, motivating narratives, with strong attention to detail
- Analytical skills: confidence working with data and numbers, including the ability to pull together impact information and basic budget figures to support funding applications and funder reports
- Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to build and maintain relationships with funders and colleagues at all levels
- Strong organisational skills: comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and reporting cycles, and taking ownership of your own workload

- Salary: £33,280 annually with 4% employer pension contribution.
- Hybrid (London), 3 day/s a week in-person with the team at GoodWork HQ, Warren Street.
- 25 days holiday per year (pro rated), plus Bank Holidays and additional leave during our annual Winter Break between Christmas and New Year.
