About the role
We are seeking a Grants Systems and Business Analyst to join our Foundation, providing subject-area expertise to our grantmaking and wider teams. This exciting role leads on our grants system and processes and ensures we are working in the best way to support our grant-making (approx. £35m of grant spend per year).
You will lead on maintaining, designing and developing grant making systems and processes and their relationship to other parts of the organisation. You will work with colleagues to identify where we could improve our use of existing digital systems or introduce new systems and oversee the introduction of new systems as agreed including the development of a new grant management system. A key element of this role is to help others work in the most efficient and effective way.
In addition, the role leads on introducing, developing and overseeing the operation of digital systems to support the operation of PHF’s wider business. The post holder will bring a mix of technical and people skills to lead on continuous improvement, ensuring our systems and workflows fit the needs of the organisation and those we work with, and colleagues are skilled-up to work effectively. This may involve working on the introduction of new software as required and will include working with our IT support company, software suppliers and colleagues who have specific oversight of some systems.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced digital systems and data expert who can confidently translate technical language to a non-expert client group in order to improve systems and ways of working. You may have exeperience of Blackbaud Grantmaking software or will be confident to pick this up.

Experience

As part of our mission, FareShare Midlands is delighted to be able to deliver our I-Can employability programme as part of Birmingham City Council’s PURE project. The PURE Project is funded by the government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The programme will provide a range of wellbeing, training and employment support to vulnerable residents of Birmingham in order to improve their lives and move them closer to the jobs market.

About the Role
The Management Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance to enhance financial services and provide supportive management accounting at Solace. You will work alongside the Assistant Management Accountants to produce accurate and timely internal and external financial reports.
The Management Accountant will have line management responsibilities for the two Assistant Management Accountants.
In this role, you will prepare monthly income and expenditure reports for more complex allocated projects and the organisation as a whole, the monthly cashflow, funder reports and lead on the preparation of the budget and half yearly forecasting. You will ensure that management accounts are produced within established deadlines with commentary of financial reporting variances. You you will meet regularly with budget holders and be able to explain the accounts to non-finance colleagues. Provide project terms and financial information to the Director of Finance and Business Support and Head of Finance.
As part of your support to our business development plans you will provide fast responses to requests for support for pricing of new bids, grant applications, tenders and provision of other relevant financial information.
As part of the annual statutory reporting you will assist and support in the preparation of the year-end close and audit.
At all times you will support the Head of Finance to develop a business partnering approach between Finance and the widder organisation.
About You
The successful candidate will be a nearly or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CCAB) or qualified by experience and desirably with knowledge of charity SORP reporting requirements, with charity experience on multi projects accounting.
Able to produce accurate reporting on timely manner and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong team player as well as working independently. Can work with non-finance budget holders with clear communication skills. Have strong knowledge of Excel and of working with finance systems.

As our Community Resuscitation Programme Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of these lifesaving programmes. You’ll help ensure our processes run smoothly, applications are managed efficiently, and our customers receive the best possible experience. From handling funding applications and responding to enquiries, to working with suppliers and internal teams, you’ll help place defibrillators in areas of greatest need and support the rollout of digital CPR training.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, gathering insights to improve our services and representing the programme in cross-organisational meetings. Operations Assistant (Full Time – Office Based)
Job Purpose:
