Job description

Music, it’s in our DNA. And as the largest music therapy charity in the UK, at Nordoff Robbins we use the power of music to enrich the lives of people affected by life limiting illness, isolation or disability.

We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Executive Assistant with a passion for people to support our CEO in North London Head Office.  The successful post holder will also have a desire to work with Governance within the charity sector, and full training will be provided if required.

As part of a high performing charity team, the Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role supporting our CEO in a busy, fast paced environment. We’re looking for a proactive problem solver, able to work autonomously who can provide high level executive support.  You will have the ability to communicate confidently at senior C-level and Trustee level.  You will be able to produce professional communications and correspondence, including emails and internal/external updates with utmost accuracy and be able to proof read and edit documents.

The ability to establish, build and maintain stakeholder relationships is essential, as is the enthusiasm to work as part of a close knit team. You will operate with integrity, sensitivity and discretion.

It is not essential to have experience in the charity sector, but you will need to be aligned with our vision and values and our ambitious plans.

Are you NR?  If the above sounds like you, please apply with a CV and covering letter (applications without a covering letter will not be considered) detailing your experience and how you would be right for the role no later than 5pm on Wednesday 20th November 2019.  Interviews will be held on Tuesday 26th November.

This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
