Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing digital campaign strategies, including; overseeing thorough market research and donor analysis to identify target audiences and create data-driven campaigns, as well as leading the copywriting and initial design concepts

• Supporting organisation fundraising campaigns through oversight and support to the matrix team, optimising paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, to attract new donors and supporters . These include - Google Ads, Facebook/social Ads, and other relevant channels

• Increasing our digital copywriting quality

• Developing and monitoring appropriate analytics to generate comprehensive reports on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights for live and future campaigns

• Managing campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to achieve fundraising targets

Terms and Conditions

• Location: This role is base at the MAF UK Offices in Folkestone, Kent.  We welcome hybrid working in line with our flexible working policy, the needs of the business, the requirements of the role and your location. This will be discussed at interview.

Look Ahead currently manages approx. 1,500 units on behalf of other landlords. The organisation typically enters into housing management agreements and other deliver vehicles [e.g. leases], as part of a wider contract to deliver care and support service to Local Authority and Health commissioners.

Housing management agreements and leases place responsibilities on both the landlord and management agent to provide services to tenants and licences and ensure compliance across all associated legislation (landlord & tenant, statutory landlord compliance and health and safety). To ensure compliance, agreements set distinct responsibilities for setting and collecting rent and service charges and the arrangement for maintaining properties to agreed standards.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Look Ahead operates efficiently and achieves full compliance in relation to our housing management agreements, leases and office licences. The post holder will also act as the main point of liaison for the different landlords (both social landlords and private rented sector) and also act as the main interface between the Landlord Services and New Business Teams in ensuring that new services coming over with housing management obligations are properly established and integrated into the service.

The Agency Partnerships Manager will monitor the financial performance of housing management agreements and will take a lead role in negotiating appropriate allowances with Landlords and ensuring the full costs of delivery, including dilapidations and handback arrangements are understood and factored into business planning/financial modelling.

Furthermore, the Agency Partnerships Manager will have a key role in ensuring that operational service understand their responsibilities and will ensure a structured approach to quality monitoring and that Look Ahead/ Landlords are fulfilling their obligations.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PERSON SPECIFICATION

The Individual Giving Manager (Retention) will work within the Public Fundraising Team and play a key part in growing and sustaining income from our individual giving audiences of cash donors and regular giving supporters. You will work closely with the Deputy Director of Fundraising, Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition), Supporter Care Officer and Database Manager and will be responsible for the development, project management and delivery of the supporter retention, renewal and stewardship program. This is a great role for someone with existing individual giving fundraising experience, who would like the opportunity to use analysis and insights to develop and shape retention and stewardship activity, with the drive to deliver a program which aspires be best in class.

Role Responsibilities:

This role plays a key part in driving income growth and sustainability in our Individual Giving programme.

Your priorities will include:

· Driving the strategic and operational planning of Individual Giving to deliver strong income growth and return of investment (ROI), ensuring agreed targets and KPIs are achieved in relation to retention and conversion of existing donors.

· Devising and delivering the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and operational plans.

Strategy, planning and delivery:

· Develop and manage donor retention and upgrade for cash donors and regular givers across all channels to increase our supporter base, maximising ROI.

· Devise and deliver the overall Individual Giving retention and stewardship budget to maximise opportunities for growth, preparing robust annual income and expenditure budgets and ops plans, reforecasting these on a quarterly basis and engaging with month end processes.

· Lead the delivery of an impactful stewardship programme, which includes managing the supporter newsletter to optimise donor retention and development across all supporters, delivering exceptional donor experience; oversee timely responses to donors.

· Optimise data and data capture opportunities to help us better understand our supporters, inform strategy and ultimately deliver insight to help drive retention and lifetime value.

· Provide timely high-quality reporting with robust analysis and recommendations to improve performance – utilising your Individual Giving expertise and sector benchmarks.

· Adopt a test and learn mentality to strategic planning, developing new activities to provide the charity with a balanced portfolio of offers for new/existing donors.

· Direct and manage external suppliers to execute the Individual Giving retention programme to meet agreed budgets, timelines and KPIs.

· Support with the selection and appointment process for new external suppliers, effectively managing relationships to ensure the highest quality service.

· Ensure tools and processes are in place to effectively deliver objectives in collaboration with teams across the organisation.

Collaboration

· Identify opportunities to maximise value from our supporter base and seek opportunities to work with colleagues to facilitate cross-selling of relevant initiatives to engage donors, including mid-value, major gifts and legacies for example.

· Work collaboratively across the charity to develop exciting and relevant content across all Individual Giving activity, including the supporter newsletter, working with colleagues to identify where content could be applied to other communications and marketing channels.

· Keep abreast of new trends, tactics and competitor activity within the sector, disseminating new learnings and information throughout the team.

· Ensure that communications are compliant with all relevant bodies including HMRC, Gambling Commission, Fundraising Regulator, ICO, Charity Commission and ASA.

· Support other areas of fundraising by attending events, exhibitions etc. as required by a small team with varied engagements.

Management

· Carry out effective management of the Supporter Care Officer, ensuring the effective deployment of all their responsibilities.

· Be accountable for the management and development of the CRM database to maximise efficiency, working with the Database Manager to resolve any irregularities.

· Work closely with the Database Manager to establish criteria for data selection and extraction as necessary.

· Work with the Database Manager and Supporter Care Officer to ensure all donations are processed swiftly and accurately, Gift Aid income is maximised, and all declarations are collected and accurately recorded for submission to the Finance team.

Regional Youth Worker - London
Salary: £27,000
Location: Flexible, based at our office in Aldgate East, with travel throughout the London region and occasional remote working.

We are looking for an experienced Youth Worker, to deliver training sessions and projects to young people through youth centres, community groups, schools and alternative provisions across the London Region, and to ensure our programmes are fit for the future.
 

We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 9,500 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 350 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.

As the StreetDoctors Youth Worker in the Region, you will deliver high quality training, develop new partnerships and maintain positive relationships.

Role purpose
The Website and Content Manager is responsible for attracting and converting audiences through our website (WordPress) through the day-to-day operational management of content and features, including data insight, analysis, testing and measurement.  Critically and fundamentally, it is expected that the postholder will drive improvements to the accessibility and inclusivity of our website and content.

Sales and Profit

· Monitor and be accountable for sales and category performance, as well as ensure that the team are aware of and engaged in the shop’s financial performance

· Foster a creative and entrepreneurial shop environment where team members seek to maximise income in new and innovative ways both within the shop and through a variety of channels, such as community events

· Manage the team to maximise income from Gift Aid on donated products

· Ensure that all of Vision Foundation financial procedures are adhered to and executed in a timely fashion by the shop team

Shop Floor

· Ensure sourcing sufficient levels of donated stock locally in collaboration with the shop team

· Establish efficient and commercially successful stock processing systems (such as pricing, quality standards, consumer safety, stock density and culling stock), including backroom systems and ensure these are adhered to by the volunteer team. Ensure that all legal and Vision Foundation internal regulations regarding donated stock are adhered to

· Inspire the team to provide a great customer and donor experience, which enables The Vision Foundation to attract new supporters every day. Ensure that feedback, including complaints are escalated to the Area Manager within the agreed timeframes

· Empower the team to create original, appropriate and commercially successful visual merchandising displays, including shop windows

· Make sure that all procedures for the sale of new products are followed by the volunteer team (if applicable)

· Work with the Area Manager to ensure our shops are in good condition, maximise their potential and are fit for purpose

Job Title – Registered Manager - West Midlands

Pay - £52,939 per annum + £750 Homeworking Allowance per annum + £1,500 Out of Hours Allowance per annum.

Job Purpose

The Communications Manager will play a leading role in driving Career Ready’s communications activity, working alongside the Head of Communications and colleagues across the charity.

Role Responsibilities

Stakeholder communications

· Work with the Head of Communications and other internal stakeholders to author and distribute stakeholder communications via relevant channels to support partnership and programme delivery.

· Deliver key colleague communications, including weekly and monthly staff bulletins, and surveys, aligning it to the strategic purpose of the charity and ensuring effective knowledge sharing and staff engagement.

· Support with the delivery of stakeholder marketing campaigns across a range of audiences.

Content and resource production

· Develop and implement a social media content strategy, including day-to-day channel management. 

· Support with the writing, editing, and collation of written content, including case studies, blog content, and news articles.

· Update and produce key publications for our programme delivery, including liaising with colleagues and suppliers to oversee design, content, and production in line with our brand guidelines.

· Work independently and with the Head of Communications and external providers on the creation of creative media content, including photoshoots, graphics, and videos.

Essential skills and experience:

Estates and Operations Manager

Are you an experienced Estates and Operations Manager?  We are looking for an experienced individual who understands our goals, to join our dynamic team of professionals.

At CHAS, we provide unwavering care across homes, hospices, and hospitals for children who may die young.  We create moments of joy and support families at every step on this hardest of journeys. 

The role

Children's Hospices Across Scotland is seeking a dedicated and experienced Estates and Operations Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of our properties and facilities across the organisation. In this critical role, you will oversee a dedicated internal team and external contractors, while ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative and Health and Safety requirements. You will lead a team, coordinating all hard facilities management services, day to day property management, implementing planned and preventative maintenance strategies and maintaining high industry standards for CHAS facilities. You will procure and lead on small projects working closely with our internal teams. Additionally, you will work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff in our hospices to meet the ongoing needs of children, families, staff, volunteers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust planned and preventative maintenance programme to ensure the safety, operation and compliance of the CHAS estate.
• Manage reactive maintenance activities, effectively prioritising requests and allocating resources.
• Oversee the development and delivery of the Asset Management plan and works programme, including condition surveys, informing budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Plan and execute capital works projects, from tendering to commissioning and overseeing project teams.
• Specify, tender, negotiate, and manage Estate, Hard FM contracts and services.
• Monitor and report on the assigned Estate Management and Hard FM budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and preparing multi-year forecasts.
• Ensure statutory compliance, conducting assessments, audits, and inspections while maintaining relevant records.
• Lead sustainability and energy management efforts, promoting environmental action plans and managing utility contracts.
• Oversee security procedures and systems for all CHAS sites.

Requirements

• Degree/HNC/HND in a Property or Building Services discipline or five years' relevant experience in a similar role.
• Possess IOSH Managing Safely Qualification.
• Proactive with a positive attitude and excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
• Highly developed communication and collaboration skills with the ability to simplify technical information.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Further Information

CHAS support families across the whole of Scotland. Our Head Office is based in Edinburgh, and we have two hospices: Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch. We also have our fundraising office in Glasgow, dedicated bases in Aberdeen and Inverness, and Shops in Dunfermline and Kinross.

As this role will closely support our hospices, we would like to speak to candidates who could base themselves from either Edinburgh, Kinross or Balloch and we do expect regular travel across these sites with predicted 3 days onsite/week, varying as needed. The remaining days can be worked remotely.

About the role 
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. With support from the Farm’s Director, who is an experienced fundraiser, you will develop and implement the fundraising strategy for the Farm, leading on the delivery of key activities, initiatives and opportunities. 

You will confidently take on the leadership of the Farm’s well-established fundraising from trusts and foundations, growing our unrestricted income base and attracting multi-year funding to support our projects. Your experience will also enable you to take the lead on establishing a new individual giving programme for the Farm, creating and implementing a stewardship strategy alongside the Marketing, Events & Communications Operational Manager. We anticipate that the postholder will spend 75% of their time managing and growing our existing trusts and foundations portfolio and 25% on building a new individual giving programme. We are looking for someone with experience (or demonstrable transferable skills and knowledge) and a willingness to work on both areas. 

As a member of the Farm’s Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Director and Operational Managers to ensure that our fundraising strategy enables us to deliver against our objectives, as well as supporting project managers and other staff to contribute to the development of relevant fundraising opportunities.
