About the role
We are a charity that provides loving, compassionate care and support for veterans and their families, living with disability or dementia. We do this through our Homes and our services reaching into the community. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Officer to research and develop multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive occupancy and new services, and to lead on their implementation.
You will create and execute digital marketing campaigns to support our services, and work on design for inhouse creative projects, developing engaging on and offline materials. You will implement marketing plans to promote services offered both in and out of our Homes, produce digital content to engage and convert audiences, develop website content, and manage photography to maintain our image bank.
You will produce regular updates and analysis using data on our enquiry system, keep accurate records of activity and costs, and support monitoring of literature and merchandise. As a brand ambassador, you will ensure consistency across audiences and adhere to relevant legislation and guidelines.
We are seeking someone with experience in a busy marketing environment, excellent communication and copywriting skills, good design and IT skills, and strong analytical ability. Purpose of the role

Key responsibilities
Marketing & Communications

- To maintain the current Marcomms system to track and store projects, ensuring they are logged on the workflow system.

Person specification
Knowledge and experience:
- Experience of working in a busy marketing environment with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload delivering projects to a high standard.
- Experience using digital tools, such as website content management systems, photo or video editing software and the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
- Experience in implementing and optimising digital campaigns on google ads and meta and a good understanding of campaign tracking.
- Knowledge of SEO best practice and analytics packages.
- Good knowledge of relevant marketing and charitable legislation and guidelines.

We are looking for a communications officer who can help us deliver this mission by working with a full range of external channels.
You will have a passion for telling powerful, important stories and enjoy pitching to some of the UK’s highest profile journalists, finding news hooks and human interest in the IOP’s cutting-edge research. The Role
What will I be doing?
- Working with the media as a point of reactive and proactive content – supporting and advising colleagues on their projects and providing a full communications service for IOP policy work.
- Working to support our digital and social strategy, filming content for social media and supporting our online engagement
- Supporting out of hours and monitoring work as required. Playing a full role in the horizon scanning and planning work of the communications and marketing team.
Projects you work on may include:

- Department support – you will have your own ‘patch’ within the IOP where you will be expected to build relationships and develop your own proactive body of work.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Stewardship Writing
- Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
- Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
- Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
Storytelling & Content Development
- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.
- Collaborate within the Marketing & Communications team to pair copy with strong visuals, and input to other priority projects as required.
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent, donor-focused tone across all written materials.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.

Qualifications
Required:

Details:
Salary: £22,800 per annum based on 3 days/21 hours per week (FTE: £38,000 per annum)
Contract: Fixed term contract for two years. Part time role working 3 days (21 hours) per week.
Location: The position will be based in Northern Ireland and will have a desk at Northern Ireland Hospice, Belfast. This role is eligible for the Hospice UK Hybrid Working Arrangement from the start of employment.
Hospice UK’s head office is based in London. This role will have full web-based connectivity to the central office, with regular opportunities to engage with the line manager and colleagues via email, face-to-face meetings, video calls, and telephone.

This exciting new role in our award-winning External Affairs department will work on policy and public affairs in Northern Ireland. You will fight for the hospice sector and people who need their care and support, helping us to create a nation where no one misses out on the care they need at the end of their lives.
This will be our first on-the-ground role in Northern Ireland, providing the post-holder with the opportunity to build our influencing work from the ground up. City of Trees is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Engagement Officer to develop and manage volunteer experience and consultation at City of Trees’ new tree nursery. The nursery is the first stage of the development of this new City of Trees site and future National Urban Forestry Centre.
This is a brand-new post to help develop an outreach programme and activity plan to engage the local community and stakeholders to help shape this ambitious and exciting project in its development stage. The role is a 12-month fixed-term position working three days a week (to be discussed at interview). Our standard working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please note there may be some evening and weekend working (time of in lieu). The starting salary will be up to £18,750.00 per annum (FTE £31,250.00).

Job Purpose
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Communications and Engagement Officer who can effectively convey the life-changing impact of our work, motivate our community to volunteer, donate and fundraise to support our work, and ensure that the information and educational resources we provide reach those who need them most.
Key Responsibilities
Communications:
· Act as the first point of contact for IPWSO’s public email address and social media channels and ensure timely and appropriate replies.
· Manage IPWSO’s social media channels, creating original and engaging content and posts, and actively engaging with our audiences.
· Manage Google Ad Grant campaigns with an emphasis on growing our supporter base and increasing individual giving.
· Keep up to date with emerging trends in digital communications and social media and recommend potential new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.
· Support the development of videos for IPWSO, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and other colleagues. The type of work to be undertaken includes providing support for content development, speaker recruitment, filming and editing, as well as helping source external agencies as needed.
· Maintain and develop the IPWSO website ensuring its security and that it functions both as an effective supporter acquisition tool and a means by which people can easily access information about PWS.
· Produce compelling newsletters and an Annual Report.
· Support the review and update of IPWSO’s Communications Strategy in line with its Strategic Plan.
· Uphold and showcase the IPWSO mission and brand.
· Help oversee the production and design of a range of educational resources for families and professionals.
· Oversee copywriting and proofreading within IPWSO.
· Support IPWSO’s members and liaise with its stakeholders internationally in support of our shared goals.
Engagement:
· Provide support for online events programmes, in cooperation with IPWSO’s Project Manager and the Online Events Committee. The type of support to be provided includes hosting Zoom sessions, supporting speakers, follow up administration including evaluations.
· Support IPWSO’s Famcare Board by facilitating their online meetings and assisting with their online events.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager to provide membership support, liaising with IPWSO’s member organisations as needed.
· Proactively engage with member associations to promote IPWSO and also to understand their needs and how IPWSO can be of help.
· Work with the Project and Operations Manager on our Educational Outreach programmes. Work will include liaising with event organisers with regards to IPWSO’s booths at different conferences, ensuring follow up as needed (including help with preparation of PowerPoint slides), engagement follow up including data entry to update our database (Donorfy).
