The Veterinary department is a friendly team of nurses, surgeons and administrative staff working in the London office. The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity.
You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. We are looking for a solid technical skillset, primarily with Microsoft365 PaaS and IaaS assets, but also someone who can take technical leadership for networking and other services and hosted applications across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Comfortable completing technical work if needed, as well as having more complex issues escalated to you from junior colleagues in the team, or offering guidance where possible. You’ll be able to authorise change requests in place of the IT manager, and escalate to them if necessary.
- The post-holder, our Support technicians and IT Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of the foundation and it’s subsidiaries. Including, set up and management of the IT equipment as required. The role is a permanent hybrid role, 30% of your time will be based in our London, Southwark office.
- You will support the Senior IT Technician and IT manager to embed the IT procedures, offering training and guidance to employees as required. You will be the final escalation point and provide advanced technical support, as well as taking on system support. You’ll work closely with the IT Manager to work on implementing new solutions and take ownership of the technical aspects of project work

SPANA - The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad is the global charity for working animals in low-income countries. The Head of Global Operations is a key member of the Global Resources Team, responsible for professional business support at both a strategic and an operational level across the organisation. About the Role

This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.

This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. The Royal Hospital Chelsea is the home of the Chelsea Pensioners (known as In-Pensioners). An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital Chelsea where we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Health & Wellbeing team in a new role as Tenancy & Contributions Officer.
The Tenancy & Contributions Officer will lead on the delivery and continuing evolution of the tenancy agreement (known as the In-Pensioner Agreement). Part of the delivery of the agreement will be coordinating the process of setting and reviewing In-Pensioner’s personal financial contribution to the Royal Hospital. The role also requires the individual to support with benefit applications as required, as well as undertake other housing management related tasks on behalf of the organisation.
In addition, the role is also a core component of the recruitment process for new In-Pensioners being the point of first appeal should a candidate be unsuccessful in their application to join. Office Coordinator (Maternity Cover)
The Office Coordinator position is responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the London, UK office. Due to the nature of this position, work must generally be performed within a 30 hours / week timeframe (M-Fri). This role is an in-office role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request:
· General administration as required: call handling and forwarding, front door access controls, post management, post requests, staff access, etc.
· Support of facilities management: oversight of cleaning and maintenance contractors, management of office supplies and procurement, equipment maintenance requests, liaison with building management.
· Facilitating work from home set-ups and procurement and coordinating distribution to personnel as requested.
· Facilitating new starter set-up in collaboration with P&C (HR) & IT inclusive of onboarding, office orientation, etc.
· Responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, tidy, and professional office environment at all times.
· Ensuring the office is health and safety compliant and maintain a knowledge of UK regulations for workplace management.
· Manage any office security systems and accounts, fire drills, fire equipment maintenance, or required inspections. Maintain the fire safety equipment and ensure fire extinguishers are services and smoke alarms / detectors are functioning – conduct fire safety awareness training upon request.
· Manage corporate relationships and partnerships such as shipping vendors, office accounts, and more.
· Ensure the payment of facilities invoices within payment deadlines, including invoice tracking and coding.
· Manage and maintain key office supplies (including pantry supplies, office materials, first aid supplies, etc.). Inventory and maintenance of the storage unit.
· Manage the office access controls / visitor protocols of the office space and coordinate security enhancements / improvements upon request.
· Provides administrative support to the Grant, Contracts & Compliance Department in the coordination of contracts received to and shipped from the London office.
· Supporting staff in the office with questions, inquiries, and support needs.

ADDITIONAL AD-HOC RESPONSIBILITIES upon request may include:

QUALIFICATIONS

The Chief Instructor role:
As the Chief Instructor you will be a driving force for the quality delivery of training at the centre. You will be instrumental in facilitating and delivering life changing, positive experiences for our young people. We are looking for a passionate practitioner, who thrives in a varied environment and are looking for a sense of fulfilment from working with young people and supporting our 4500 volunteers to deliver the Sea Cadet Experience.
We operate 11 training venues across the UK, this includes eight boat stations and three training centres for our 15,000 young people. We are looking for someone who will deliver and support high quality land based, face to face and virtual training to both our cadets and volunteers, creating a highly impactful national training experience for our cadets guided by the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. You will lead volunteers and sessional instructors to ensure high quality delivery and manage the day to day training, whilst ensuring the health, safety and safeguarding of all whom you are training. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the day to day operations.
Responsibilities as our Chief Instructor will include:.
- Organising and delivering high quality face to face and virtual training for cadets (and volunteers)
- Supervising delivery of courses by others and ensuring that we adhere to National Governing Body standards and any other existing regulations are adhered to.
- Assisting the Centre Manager to ensure that all activities at the facility are conducted in a safe manner, and that all sessional instructors or volunteers are appropriately briefed, qualified and trained.
- Deputising for the Centre Manager in their absence.
Requirements needed to become our Chief Instructor:
- Experience working with groups of young people.
- Experience of delivery high quality youth and adult training.
- Understanding and awareness of youth safeguarding and supporting young people’s wellbeing.
- The ability to plan, organise and supervise delivery of training.
