We are looking for a Fundraising Manager(Corporate Partnerships) for an incredible youth charity, to be responsible for account managing key corporate partnerships and relationships, identifying and developing potential new business and supporting the implementation of the corporate fundraising strategy.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the London office.

The Corporate Partnerships Lead will lead, manage and develop the team of 7 raising c.£4m pa, personally spearheading the new business strategy and major approaches.
Overseeing the account management team of four, you’ll strategically guide the development and growth of key partners. Leading the team of two in new business, you’ll personally lead on the biggest approaches while supporting the team to develop their own pipelines.
There will be a large focus on cross-team collaboration, working closely with your colleagues across the Major Partnerships Unit (trusts, foundations, major donors and corporates), for shared leads, pipelines and approaches.
About the role
As Corporate Partnerships Lead, you will:
- develop and implement a corporate partnerships growth strategy ensuring a focus on new partnerships;
- develop, lead and motivate your team of talented corporate fundraisers;
- provide strategic oversight to account management, working with the Corporate Partnerships Managers to create development and growth plans;
- personally secure 6+7-figure corporate partnerships whilst working with and leading the new business team;
- produce monthly reports detailing results and activities, flagging trends, issues and recommending solutions;
- develop a deep knowledge of Plan and the development sector in order to identify new market opportunities and produce compelling propositions;
- lead by example to promote and action Plan’s anti-racism plan within the Corporate Partnerships team.
About you
- Ability to secure new six figure corporate partnerships as well as retaining and developing existing partnerships.

- Able to deal confidently and diplomatically with colleagues (including CEO and Board) and donors at all levels.

The Role

The Candidate
A natural relationship based fundraiser able to build strong working relationships with inteternal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,000+
Substantial experience interpreting and translating material into compelling content for successful proposals.
Demonstrable strong project and account management abilities.
Confident in the development of budgets to meet proposal requirements.
Strong problem solving ability and confidence to bring in new ideas and drive them forward
Experience of writing and communicating for different mediums and channels and applying writing and branding requirements to reports and documents.

Your new role
The Deputy Head of FP&A has a key role to play in developing the Financial Planning and Analysis function, particularly in the direct line management of the Management Accounting and Analysis team to deliver core management accounting and reporting services, helping to support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to further embed Finance Business Partnering across the organisation and to bring a greater level of consistency, efficiency and quality to financial reporting and planning processes.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Officer, this role is jointly responsible for the delivery of a consistent and high-quality purchase ledger function across the Group. The purchase ledger team is integral to ensuring that the Group commitments are accurate and complete each month; and payments are made on a consistent basis in keeping with suppliers’ credit terms and internal policy on expenses.
The key responsibilities of this Purchase Ledger Officer include:
- Record staff expenses and property invoices (e.g., rent, utilities, repairs) promptly across all companies.
- Upload invoices promptly after processing for timely authorisation.
- Ensure invoices comply with delegated authority limits and are correctly coded to budgeted cost centres.
- Verify payment-due invoices against the aged creditors report.
- Track and record direct debit invoices, investigate debit balances, and resolve before month-end.
- Review supplier statements to capture missing invoices and prepare reconciliations for key maintenance and rent accounts.
- Respond to supplier and staff queries per SLA KPIs and forward new supplier forms and bank detail changes as needed.

This role is fully remote as learners are online, but there would be a requirement to attend in-person meetings in Bedford, up to 6 times per year.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with London's Air Ambulance Charity, supporting them to recruit a Deputy Head of Philanthropy (Trusts) maternity cover. This role will start at a key time in strategy development and long term planning, as they enter the final phase of their incredibly successful Up Against Time Appeal to replace their two helicopters.
As they enter the final phase of the appeal, having raised £11.5m of their £15m target (with a number of further pledges confirmed) this role will focus on developing the long term Trusts fundraising strategy. As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will be tasked with considering the opportunities presented by the new 15 year organisational strategy, and contributing to the wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team plans to ensure they have a strong footing as they look to the long term and next 15 years of London's Air Ambulance Charity.
As Deputy Head of Philanthropy you will not only lead on strategy development but also build and develop the Trusts pipeline, leading and developing the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to improve internal processes and influence/respond to upcoming fundraising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Trusts and Prospect Research teams and programmes through a year of maternity cover, ensuring both areas are in a strong position on the return of the substantive postholder.
- Act as LAAC's Trust and Lead Gift (£500k+) fundraising expert, leading the Trusts and Prospect Research teams to be ambitious and consider the long term funding opportunities for the charity.
- Lead the team through the transition from the Up Against Time Appeal to focus on the new 15 year organisational strategy and opportunities it presents to develop the pipeline for new projects.
- Take ownership of the Trusts, Foundations and Statutory pipeline, leading income generation from these sources with a personal focus on £100k+ opportunities, while informing the organisation's approach to restricted fundraising opportunities.
- Support the development of direct reports and wider Philanthropy, Partnerships and Events team.
Person Specification:
- Strong sector knowledge and technical expertise of Trust fundraising, with experience of securing £100k+ support from trusts, foundations and/or statutory sources.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and fundraising for restricted projects, monitoring income and expenditure budgets.
- Effective pipeline development skills and the ability to support a Prospect Research function to identify new opportunities.
