London Gypsies and Travellers (LGT) challenges social exclusion and discrimination, working for change in partnership with Gypsy and Traveller communities living on council caravan sites, roadside camps, in bricks and mortar housing, and those experiencing homelessness.

We offer accommodation advice and advocacy, family services and a youth mentoring programme that support hundreds of families and individuals each year. Our community development, research, policy work and campaigns are rooted in community involvement and lived experience and aim to create long-term positive change for Gypsies and Travellers across London and an end to the discrimination they face every day.

About the role

This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.

You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support. Acting as a central point of contact, you will work closely with colleagues, external suppliers and advisors to ensure our working environment, systems, policies and processes are practical, compliant and support staff to do their best work.

The role works with all staff and external suppliers, particularly the Resilience Strategy Lead, Finance Officer, CEO and external IT support providers.

About you

The role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, organised and enjoys problem‑solving and improving systems. This is a varied role and we don’t expect you to already be an expert in all of the responsibility areas. We welcome applicants with different strengths and backgrounds and there is plenty of scope to learn and develop in the role. Although solid IT skills and knowledge are essential, this is not a technical specialist role - the emphasis is on coordination and oversight, liaising between colleagues, external advisors and technical support, and following issues and projects through to completion.

About the role

This new role is to support the growth of Marine Society apprenticeship and adult skills provision. This is a strategic, outward-facing role requiring a confident astute individual who can engage key stakeholders and employers in the maritime industry to recruit new entrants and existing employees onto Marine Society programmes.

Responsibilities

· To grow the apprenticeship and adult skills provision in line with agreed annual recruitment and financial targets

· To develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective employers and learners, proactively identifying new apprenticeship and learning opportunities within the maritime industry. To secure repeat business with apprenticeship employers through cultivating long-term relationships.

· To work with the Director of Maritime Training and Development to devise a sales and marketing strategy to grow the apprenticeship and adult skills provision. To support the tendering process to ASF devolved areas and work with subcontractor partners.

· To collaborate with the Apprenticeship Operations Manager and Maritime Lead Trainer to convert identified leads and share industry intelligence.

· To assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator to write targeted social media posts and marketing campaigns, ensuring market visibility and lead generation. To build a library of promotional literature and good news stories.

· To maintain accurate records of business development leads and pipeline activity within the CRM system and to routinely report on these

· Attend relevant external boards, fora and industry bodies, as directed in order to promote maritime apprenticeships and training including; Maritime Skills Alliance, Workboat Association, MNTB apprenticeship committee and Port Skills and Safety

· To attend industry trade fairs and careers events to represent Marine Society. These include; National Apprenticeship Week, Seawork, International Boat Show

· To research and monitor market trends, employer needs and competitor activity to inform business development strategy

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a recruitment, sales or commercial role with a proven track record of achieving financial targets
• Knowledge of the maritime sector including roles, ranks and certifications in the near coastal sector
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify, grow and convert new business opportunities
• Experience using CRM systems to monitor and report on business leads
• Knowledge of CPD training or workforce development

About the Role

We are excited to recruit a PCN Cancer Care Coordinator to support people living with cancer across the Clifton and The Meadows Primary Care Network in Nottingham.

This role is central to delivering a holistic, person‑centred cancer care coordination service, supporting patients beyond clinical treatment and ensuring their wider emotional, practical and social needs are met. Working closely with GP practices, Primary Care Network colleagues, and the voluntary and community sector, you will help improve experiences and outcomes for people affected by cancer.

You will work in direct partnership with Self Help UK’s Macmillan Beyond Diagnosis Service, carrying out Cancer Care Reviews and Holistic Needs Assessments (eHNA), developing care and support plans, and helping people to access the right support at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting people newly diagnosed with cancer through Cancer Care Reviews and eHNAs
• Creating individualised care and support plans based on each person’s needs
• Acting as a single point of access for non‑clinical cancer support
• Referring and signposting patients to appropriate voluntary and community services
• Working closely with GP practices to ensure reviews are recorded on NHS systems
• Supporting work to increase cancer screening uptake, especially within targeted communities

Role purpose

The Commercial Income Lead is a senior, entrepreneurial role responsible for shaping, growing and diversifying West Horsley Place’s commercial income.

This is a highly proactive position for a self-starter who thrives on identifying opportunity, creating new sales channels and turning ideas into deliverable, income-generating activity. The postholder will develop and lead commercial strategy while remaining closely involved in hands-on sales, client management and on-site delivery.

The role oversees a broad portfolio including corporate venue hire, filming and photography, third-party commercial activity and estate partnerships. Job Purpose: To promote the New Story Garden, Floating Garden and Paper Garden in King’s Cross and Canada Water as event spaces for private and commercial use. To be responsible for delivering the annual events plan and associated budget in order to generate a profit to be reinvested into our community and youth programmes and build of community gardens. To organise and run events in the spaces and manage a team of people where needed depending on the size of the events. To produce communications and marketing materials for the organisation according to agreed style guides and templates.

2. COMMUNICATIONS AND CREATIVE CAMPAIGNS Supporting the wider work of the team by communicating our objectives and achievements, maintaining an engaging and imaginative stream of content that allows GG's work to reach new audiences

Development and strategic

• Work with the Global Generation team to deliver communication strategy highlighting the achievements and objectives of the organisation and building our brand
• Contribute to existing vision, business plan and implementation for venue hire and events at Global Generation
• Jointly responsible for ensuring that venue hire and the events programme makes a profit, working towards an agreed target

Events Planning & Delivery

• Develop, promote and deliver a programme of events in our garden sites, emphasising the uniqueness of each site, as well as assist with larger fundraising events
• Customer relations: First point of contact for new bookings and enquiries via phone and email ; Conduct site visits for potential clients
• Financial & event administration: Draw up quotes for hire costs, process and approve invoices & payments, manage events budgets, track spending and income, manage contracting, scheduling, menus, brochures and terms and conditions (parts to be carried out by Office Assistant)

Partnerships and relationships

• Actively maintain relationships and networks with individuals, organisations and developers
• Understand, value and work together with the GG team to ensure that there is a good balance between commercial priorities and community priorities, to avoid clashing with or limiting the use of spaces for educational and community events. Where possible add value by merging commercial and community.

Communications and Creative Campaigns

• Support delivery of existing communications strategy across the organisation, including monthly newsletter, regular social media schedule, practical copyediting, typesetting and design support for annual outputs.
• Create and deliver creative communication materials and publications for use in the media and online that help bring Global Generation’s work to life
• Utilise existing branding guidelines and templates to create consistent social graphics, newsletter headers and venue hire documents

Essential Skills and Experience

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in G-suite and/or Office 365 programmes
• Experience using social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram (for creating & scheduling content)
• Experience using photo or video editing software, Adobe Suite, Canva or Capcut or other similar software.
• Experience coordinating or planning events or organising space hire.
• Experience managing relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
• Experience with Squarespace or other website management software

The postholder integrates people, place and process by connecting operational delivery with governance and strategic oversight; to protect patient dignity through environmental standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive patient and family experience assurance.

The aim of the role is to ultimately ensure safe, compliant, dignified and high-performing environments that actively support patient care delivery and staff workplace experience.

The role provides managerial oversight of the Clinical Facilities Coordinator and Support Facilities Coordinator, ensuring clarity of standards, regulatory compliance, cost control and service resilience.

In summary, the Facilities & Patient Experience Manager is accountable for:

• Safe, compliant and well-coordinated Facilities Services.
• Regulatory readiness across environmental, equipment and hospitality functions.
• Positive patient and family environmental experience and subsequent feedback channels.
• Performance and development of Facilities Coordinators.
• Contract oversight and cost-effective service delivery.
• Continuous improvement across the Facilities function.

·Recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate).

·IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management) Level 4 or Level 5 qualification.

·Safeguarding Level 3 (or willingness to complete).

Today, the garden is an independent charity, which offers a unique blend of heritage, horticulture and wildlife, making it a truly special place to work and visit.

Role summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Visitor Experience Manager to help make every visit to Painswick Rococo Garden warm, inspiring and memorable.

You’ll be an integral part of bringing our beautiful and quirky 18th-century garden to life by leading our programme of events and family trails, interpretation, customer service and presentation standards.

Passionate and enthusiastic, you will deliver a high-quality visitor experience that make visitors feel more connected to the garden.

With a strong commercial and community focus, you’ll grow audiences and income through well-planned, profitable activity and new offers, while supporting safe, compliant day-to-day operations (including duty management and safeguarding responsibilities).

You’ll manage, motivate and develop the visitor experience team, and will lead the volunteer journey, ensuring the volunteer experience is varied, productive and rewarding for all involved.

You’ll champion excellent customer service, so every visitor feels welcome and enjoys a great day out.

Please note: the role includes regular duty management on a rota basis, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings. About you If you’re a people-focused leader with experience in heritage visitor operations and delivering engaging events and interpretation, we’d love to hear from you.
