We are delighted to be working in partnership with Sheffcare to recruit their next Chief Executive Officer. Sheffcare is a Charity operating in Sheffield who pride themselves on caring for some of the most vulnerable older people within the city. They ensure that every individual within their care homes is looked after with the very best care and compassion. The Charity was established in 1994 and since then every penny has been invested back into Care Homes and the training of staff teams. The Charity is well regarded by residents and their families, regulators and stakeholders and is run by a passionate and experienced board and leadership team. The dedication of the staff team has meant that the Charity has successfully survived the storm of covid19 and so it is now a very exciting time to join Sheffcare indeed.
Sheffcare has a very positive, care focused culture and as Chief Executive Officer you will be expected to lead and contribute to its continuing development.
You will work closely with the board and leadership team to ensure that the current strategy continues to be implemented as well as playing a key role in devising a new strategy in 2022. You will work with the Head of Finance and The Finance Committee to prepare the annual budget for Sheffcare and you will also ensure that Budget Holders receive high quality financial training.
As the Chief Executive Officer, business development and moving the Charity forward will be a key part of your role. Identifying expansion and development opportunities is vital to modernise the portfolio of care homes and services that the Charity can provide. You will also ensure that the best care is delivered in all departments and that this is in line with CQC standards.
To apply for this incredible opportunity, you must have a proven track record at either CEO or Director level preferably in a health and social care setting and you must have a demonstratable record of success.
