| Overview and key points on the role | Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled, passionate and professional Multiple Disadvantage ISVA. This is a permanent role with responsibility for supporting women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence, to navigate the criminal justice system. As an Multiple Disadvantage ISVA you will have a good understanding of what constitutes multiple disadvantages, disempowerment, or discrimination, and how they intersect with experiences of sexual violence. You should have experience of providing support to women with multiple complex needs, ideally within the Criminal Justice System. In addition to having excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills you should also be able to develop key relationships with external agencies. You should have demonstrable experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and of working in a trauma-informed way. We will provide clinical supervision, full training and line management, and the opportunity to develop your skillsets. Responsible to the Advocacy service Deputy Manager you will be a key member of the advocacy service, working alongside our ISVA’s and Case Workers in a busy and supportive team.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
Following a recent departmental restructure, we’re entering an exciting period for the newly formed content team. This shift in the team structure highlights our commitment to making best in sector content - all in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for delivering our holistic content strategy over the next year. You’ll oversee the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels, and in house paid campaign activations. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts our key audience of 18 - 24 year olds, as well as our supplementary audiences, across website, email and social channels.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation. You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.
This is a fixed term contract for 13 months.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working.
- Deliver the holistic content strategy across digital and social channels (including website, email, search, owned social, content creators and gaming) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18 - 24 year olds.

- Oversee delivery of workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including producing, distributing, measuring, and retiring content.
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

- Ownership of the Content Team budget and quarterly re-forecasting.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 5 year’s experience working in a management level content focused role, for example a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing or Head of Content.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and prioritising cross departmental content requests.

The Degrees Initiative is a UK-based NGO that builds the capacity of developing countries to evaluate solar radiation modification (SRM), a controversial proposal for reducing some impacts of climate change by reflecting sunlight away from the Earth. Degrees is neutral on whether SRM should ever be used, but we believe that developing countries should be empowered to conduct their own research and to play a central role in SRM discussions.
This is a unique opportunity to shape global conversations on climate science by empowering researchers in developing countries to publish and communicate their work, collaborating with some of the world’s leading SRM experts.
The Scientific Writing and Publishing Lead will play a key role in supporting researchers in the Global South to communicate their findings effectively and contribute to the global SRM conversation. Working within the Programmes team, reporting to the Programmes Director, and in cooperation with the Communications team, the Scientific Writer will collaborate closely with research teams and external partners. Responsibilities will include:
1. Support researchers with scientific writing and publishing
- Develop guidance materials on topics such as structuring research papers, writing abstracts, and best practices for peer-reviewed publication.
- Train and support researchers to develop, refine, and publish scientific manuscripts through one-on-one and group training sessions and technical editing and feedback.
- In collaboration with the Staff Scientist, help build climate researchers’ capacity to prepare and communicate their findings to different audiences.

Summary of the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the role will support the implementation of our 2030 Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with colleagues in Fundraising, Communications and Delivery Teams. The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining and growing Individual Giving, through key digital platforms. They will support the Head of Fundraising in researching and implementing new platforms as ADSS develops its fundraising capacity and capability.
The successful candidate will bring creativity, innovation, and great donor stewardship and retention skills to ensure that the Charity achieves its ambitious fundraising goals.
Main purpose of job
The individual Giving Fundraiser will be responsible for the delivery of ADSS fundraising from individual donors, primarily through digital platforms.
The post holder will handle stewardship contact with all individual donors and fundraisers with warmth and appropriate enthusiasm and sensitivity. Our supporters participate in a variety of events and have a range of motivations for giving to the Charity including families who are raising funds in memory of a loved one.

The Role Responsibilities
Maintain and grow ADSS’s income from individual supporters with a focus on digital platforms.
Lead on the delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns and optimising supporter journeys.

Fundraising Strategy and Planning:

·Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring their continued support.

Corporate and Community Partnerships:
Work with the Corporate and Community Fundraisers to:

·Ensure that digital platforms support their efforts to cultivate relationships with local businesses and community groups to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and in-kind donations.
·Engage community leaders and influencers to increase visibility and support for ADSS’s fundraising efforts.

Donor Database Management:
·Maintain and update our donor database, ensuring accurate records of donations, communications, and engagement history.
·Analyse one-off and regular giving performance and optimise programmes based on insights

About the role
This role will support Kinship to operate as an effective charity by ensuring effective day-to-day operations and seamless delivery of the People function at the charity.
You will bring your People leadership experience, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to the role. You will be structured in your approach to ensure that day-to-day issues are handled while also working to improve processes and systems. You will be credible with senior management and able to articulate and balance the trade-offs of a People leadership role.
You will be able to balance multiple competing priorities and prioritise effectively, A positive mindset is key to being part of the team, as is thinking creatively to problem solve and being empathetic to colleagues. You will be highly motivated by our mission, recognising that excellent internal People processes are essential to allowing others to effectively complete their roles and achieve our mission.
You will be a powerful ambassador for our mission, credible with other HR and CSR professionals working to implement kinship friendly employer policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities include:

Work with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Executive management team to design, develop and embed a high-quality HR function to support the employee life cycle.

Responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, and processes relating to people and culture, work effectively, efficiently and in line with legal requirements.

Responsible for all People matters, ensuring they are handled fairly and consistently in line with policies and procedures.

Support and advise line managers on People, EDI and change management activities, including promotions, disciplinary, capability and grievance procedures.

Organise line manager training to ensure line managers understand their responsibilities and apply policies consistently.

Responsible for the candidates’ recruitment experience. Ensure candidates receive a consistent and professional recruitment experience.

Responsible for job descriptions, person specifications, recruitment packs and job adverts.

Ensure offboarding processes are robust and implemented consistently to safeguard the charity’s assets and to comply with Data Protection rules.

Lead on the delivery and growth of the ‘Kinship Friendly Employers’ scheme, driving growth in the scheme and the number of bronze, silver and gold partners

Ensure Kinship role models ‘Kinship Friendly’ employment practices and seek opportunities to share these as examples with other HR professionals.

Support fundraising efforts with corporate supporters who are ‘Kinship Friendly Employers’
Essential criteria includes:

This pivotal role will design and deliver new community and individual giving fundraising programmes to support Open Age’s exciting new five-year growth strategy. You are an ambitious self-starter with a breadth of community and individual giving expertise or a specialist in one with good understanding of the other. In this broad role you will partner with Open Age’s passionate members and the wider community to raise funds for our high-impact services, supporting older people to lead happier, healthier lives. You will see first-hand the visible, life-changing impact of the money you generate for many thousands of older people in London and across the UK.
The role is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend.
