About the role

In the role you will be working with the Grants Manager to maximise funding from foundations and grant-makers (currently around £800,000 p.a.) and to support our partnerships with high-net-worth individuals. You will manage and grow a portfolio of funders while identifying and nurturing new relationships.

You will be responsible for prospecting new opportunities, writing compelling applications, and creating insightful narrative and financial reports to help us sustain a broad base of restricted and unrestricted funding for our work. This role will manage the delivery of our legacy marketing strategy across our priority markets reporting into the Global Legacy Director, and working closely with the Legacy Officers, the Direct Marketing and Digital Teams. Reporting and analyzing results to inform future learnings and strategies to drive awareness and consideration of legacy giving to IFAW.

Role and Responsibilities

The Legacy Marketing Specialist will have a global role, managing the marketing in each of our priority countries, Canada, US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and Australia.

• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all legacy campaigns across stewardship and acquisition including multi channel activity including digital, print, and events. Ensuring high-quality delivery and maximum impact.
• Work closely with and collaborate with internal teams including Direct Marketing, Design, Production and Digital as well as external agencies to develop compelling content and messaging aligned with the organisation’s brand and communication strategies.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, analysing results and recommending new channels or strategies to grow legacy donor acquisition and retention.
• Manage the expenditure and across all legacy marketing activity and working closely with the Production team ensure cost-effective campaign delivery and adherence to financial processes.
• Deputise for the Global Legacy Director as needed and contribute to cross-team initiatives to support integrated fundraising goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Proven experience in UK charity of legacy marketing or fundraising across acquisition and stewardship.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation of multi-channel marketing activities across traditional and digital platforms.
• Demonstrable ability to collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, providing clear briefs and constructive feedback to deliver impactful campaigns.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join DARO as Donor Experience Manager, helping to shape and deliver outstanding donor journeys for multiple audiences. The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery. 

About You 

Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use. 

The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030. 

You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. You will be an excellent communicator – proficient at running meetings, organising information and putting together reports.

The MA, alongside a number of partners, are working to expand and develop how we support mathematics education. Central to this is the joint development of a new association that will bring together people from across the whole mathematics education community.

This is a key short-term role, supporting both the practical and people aspects of the merger, ensuring minimal disruption to services and a smooth transition for staff and stakeholders.

• Develop and deliver a clear, time-bound transition plan for the merger of two offices and their staff teams, which total around 10 staff.

We are seeking an Office Manager to lead and deliver the core administration that underpins our charity’s work. This new role brings together governance admin, property record management, and oversight of our office systems and environment.

As Office Manager, you will:

• Provide high-quality governance support to our Board of Trustees, including scheduling meetings, collating agendas, circulating board packs, and taking minutes.

• Manage the administration of our property portfolio, ensuring leases, rent review dates, compliance certificates and other legal documentation are accurate and up to date.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role

The Senior Digital Campaign Officer will play a key role in our work to end homelessness in Scotland – designing creative ways to engage the public with our latest campaign around the next election, using digital channels, including our website, social channels and email.

You will lead the creation of supporter journeys to mobilise people across Scotland; turning public awareness and interest in homelessness into meaningful actions that lead to change. You’ll work with others to make sure our campaigns are joined up with our digital, data, technology and marketing teams, and to make sure that our digital campaigns have a direct impact on the policies and practices needed to end homelessness.

About you

1. Experience of developing digital influencing strategies that result in significant increases in the volume of new supporters and deepened involvement for existing supporters.

1. Excellent technical knowledge and experience of digital tools and channels, particularly Engaging Networks and Adestra.
2. Ability to think creatively, develop and test digital tools which strengthen campaigning successes.
3. Strong communication skills including the ability to write campaigning materials for supporters e.g. website pages, social media posts, campaign emails, campaign actions, blogs.
4. Ability to collaborate with people from different teams to achieve goals.
5. Excellent project management skills.

Your contribution to the team 

Your role as Project MEL and Grants Officer will be critical in achieving the goals of the Projects Team to deliver high-quality support in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), project and grant management to colleagues across the organisation. You will support the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to roll-out innovative approaches to how the organisation captures impact, shares success stories and learns from one another. You will support colleagues to understand compliance requirement of grants and to identify, assess and realign projects to ensure delivery against these requirements and project objectives. You will play a vital role to ensure the uptake and usability of our organisational grants and project management platform called PEBI (Project Ecosystem for Business Intelligence).

What you can expect in a typical day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support project and organisational MEL 50%
• Support colleagues to design log frames, indicators and results framework for projects and how to align them with global indicators;
• Support colleagues to develop, improve and contextualise data collection and reporting tools and methodologies; 
• Participate in project start-up meetings and support colleagues to develop project M&E plans; 
• Plan and conduct internal reviews of key projects to support organisational learning and improvement of future projects; 
• Review data and information gathered either through systems (such as PEBI) or processes (such as Annual Reflection Process, cross-organisational meetings etc) to provide feedback to colleagues and feed into organisational learning; 
• Support the delivery of key learning and impact reporting products such as annual reports, internal review reports, quarterly management/progress reports; 
• Keep up to date with best practices in regards to MEL in order to provide recommendations on how organisational MEL systems and processes can be improved. 
 

Management of project management system (PEBI) 25%

 • Support PEBI champions to motivate their users to regularly update data in the system PEBI, enabling and facilitating the optimal use of the platform;
• Provide initial technical support to champions on issues with the system, in consultation with the Projects Team and escalate as necessary;
• Help to identify ways the system can be continuously improved and fully used;
• Maintain the user guide to PEBI and train new champions or support champions to onboard new users;
• Be the administrative lead for the system maintaining user access within the organisation and liaise with external consultants;
• Coordinate and lead regular meetings with champions across the network to update, discuss issues and best practice and share lessons learned;

Support contract management and project management function 20%

• Provide support to teams with regards to donor or other stakeholders contract management for the implementation of projects; 
• Review and maintain an up-to-date centralised grants filing system; 
• Where necessary, support colleagues to review and amend project documents such as plans and contracts to ensure delivery against project objectives and donor requirements;

Team support 5%
• Ensure the organisation is aware of what the projects team are working on, leading on drafting internal communications and coordinating check-ins with other teams to have a steady flow of information; 
• Undertake other tasks as are appropriate to the nature and scope of the post.

What you will bring to the role

Knowledge and Skills:

Essential
• Full understanding of grant management, project implementation tools and procedures; 
• Project MEL including designing MEL plan, data collection tools and indicators; 
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to relate with diverse people from different cultures; 
• Strong organisation, time management, communication and coordination skills; 
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and to multi-task, across different time zones; 
• Strong Excel skills and numeracy and budgeting skills;
• Attention to detail; 
• Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office package (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and some experience of using information management systems and databases;
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with outstanding writing skills; 
• Approachable, flexible and supportive; 
• Able to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.

Desirable
• Knowledge of human rights and/or key freedom of expression issues; 
• Experience of working in countries/regions where ARTICLE 19 works;

• Language skills in at least one of the other ARTICLE 19’s languages, i.e. French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Dutch. 

Experience:
Essential
• Relevant experience in supporting a team; 
• Experience working with donors, particularly EC, DRL, SIDA; 
• At least 2 years of work experience in project support functions including donor compliance, project management and MEL.

• Experience of working in an international organisation; 
• Experience of cross-team and long-distance working; 
• 2 years experience in working on an online project management system; 
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Plan or Microsoft Tasks.
