We are recruiting a Head of Campaigns & Influence to lead our public campaigning and movement-building work. This is a senior role for someone who can turn build campaigns that cut through, mobilising supporters and communities, raising awareness of the most pressing issues facing women today, and helping shape the political conditions for progress on women’s rights.

This role drives how Fawcett builds our influence & impact. It brings together campaigning, public affairs, supporter mobilisation and leadership, with a strong focus on turning evidence and policy priorities into clear, credible and compelling public asks.

About the role

The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.

You will work across campaigns, public affairs, digital and membership, helping ensure that our external work is joined up, strategic and effective. You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Chief Executive and contributing to wider organisational planning and decision-making. You will line manage campaigning capacity, help shape a collaborative and inclusive culture, and support Fawcett to grow its public impact over the coming years.

You would be joining a small but ambitious team, with the opportunity to shape both the work itself and how we work together. At the moment, the team is small, which means this role will suit someone who is comfortable leading in a hands-on way while supporting others to grow. We expect to strengthen our campaigning capacity over time, so there is real scope to help shape the next phase of that development.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Experience of leading and delivering campaigns, advocacy or movement-building work designed to achieve social, political or cultural change.
• Experience of mobilising supporters, communities and/or people with lived experience in ways that strengthen campaigns, projects or organisational work.
• Experience of influencing political, institutional or other decision-makers, including translating evidence, policy positions or strategic objectives into clear and credible public asks.
• Previous line management experience, with evidence of supporting and developing others well through inclusive, accountable and values-led leadership.
• A strong commitment to women’s rights and tackling misogyny, with a clear understanding of intersectional feminist and anti-racist practice.
• Strong strategic judgement and the ability to work effectively in politically sensitive or fast-moving contexts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and audiences.

Key Responsibilities –

You’ll shape and lead RBL’s campaigning activity, working closely with colleagues across Policy, Public Affairs, Membership, Marketing & Communications and Services to deliver impactful, evidence-based campaigns.

· Leading compelling national and reactive campaigns that deliver real-world change.

· Growing and energising RBL’s campaign supporter network.

You’ll also work closely with local and devolved colleagues to ensure national campaigns resonate at every level and support the Head of Public Affairs & Campaigns with planning, budgeting and leadership.

You will either be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site. However, for the right candidate with the appropriate skills and experience, we are open to considering a remote working arrangement.

About the role 

The Faith and Communities Engagement Officer role is designed to enhance and strengthen the infrastructure of homelessness services across Westminster by mobilising and supporting faith and community-based initiatives and groups. The intention is to facilitate effective partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector services and promote sustainable, community-led responses to homelessness and rough sleeping. 

Key responsibilities will include engagement and partnership development, capacity building and support, infrastructure and sustainability and advocacy. The role will play a vital part in bridging gaps between grassroots faith and community initiatives and formal homelessness systems, ensuring coordinated and compassionate support for those experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support, for example through our website, information leaflets and webinars, and via our local support groups, Helplines and online forum.  As well as directly supporting those with endometriosis, we work to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst healthcare professionals, the public and the media; lobby for improved diagnosis, treatment and management; and support research. You will have a strong understanding of the UK political system and how to influence it, and will be confident in drafting reports, consultation responses and working with and disseminating data.  About the role:

This is a pivotal role in our Campaigns and Communications Team, reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Communications. You will be managing the drafting of evidenced-based policy positions (for example analysing research, data and lived experience insight) and work with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to ensure these are translated into effective campaigning activity that drives real change.

You will oversee the integration of policy and campaigns activity, working closely with the Campaigns and Policy Officer, and enabling the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to engage with parliamentary and high-level stakeholder engagement.

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to support the planning, delivery and optimisation of Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s digital marketing activity across key channels, reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager.

This is a hands-on digital role focused on day-to-day delivery, advertising and optimisation across the charity’s digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Officer will play a key role in ensuring digital advertising channels are engaging and effective in supporting fundraising, brand awareness and supporter engagement.

The role works closely with colleagues across Marketing, Fundraising and Communications, and supports the delivery of digital activity set by the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Main Duties/Tasks

Digital Duties:

Content Creation, Management, and Campaign Support

• Creating, editing, and publishing content across the charity’s digital channels (website, email, and ad channels) in conjunction with the Content Creation Officer and Marketing Officers.
• Managing day-to-day updates to the charity websites using the CMS, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned to brand guidelines. Maintain high standards of brand identity across all digital touch points.
• Building and sending email communications using the charity’s email platform, supporting segmentation, stewardship and supporter journeys.
• Supporting the delivery of integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns through digital channels.
• Adapting digital copy for different audiences and platforms, including web pages, email campaigns and digital appeals.

Digital Marketing Optimization, Reporting, and Budget Support

• Optimising and supporting budget monitoring for AI Search, Paid Search, SEO, and Google Grant campaigns.
• Monitoring and reporting on digital performance using analytics and platform insights, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Supporting paid digital fundraising activity by preparing and advising on content, assets, and copy, and assisting with reporting and optimisation under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Brand Management, Compliance, and Collaboration

• Ensuring all digital content and activity complies with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, GDPR, and relevant regulations.
• Scheduling and managing organic content in line with agreed plans, adapting content where needed for different channels, working with Marketing Officers to ensure a consistent brand presence.
• Working with internal colleagues and external suppliers or agencies, where required, to support digital delivery.
• Supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager to maintain organised digital systems, content libraries, and workflows.

Other Duties:

• Identify and create powerful stories from across the charity, leveraging key moments, events and milestones to raise awareness and engagement.

· Develop and deliver a content plan that brings our mission to life and shares stories across multiple channels and formats.

• Lead social media, web and email marketing activity to inform, engage and motivate supporters to take action.

• Monitor and evaluate communications, using insights to continuously improve content and engagement.

• Create visually compelling assets, (including imagery for socials, reports, leaflets and more)

• Collaborate with fundraising team to ensure content aligns with fundraising goals and drives supporter action, including supporting events and appeals

• Record and update consent for stories, photos and videos, ensuring content is collected and shared ethically and respectfully.

About you:

· A skilled communicator who understands the power of everyday stories.

· Relevant experience in communications within the charity sector

· Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content

· Creative approach to content creation, with strong visual design skills and understanding of how to tell stories through various media.

· Ability to manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), use content management systems (e.g. Wordpress) and email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp) to distribute and assess effectiveness of communications

· Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The Opportunity:
This is a rare chance to lead a mission-driven organisation with huge potential. We need a leader who

• Is genuinely passionate about environmental sustainability and poverty alleviation
• Can develop and execute ambitious fundraising strategies, including corporate partnerships and major donor relationships
• Brings financial acumen and strategic planning experience

• Is comfortable being the external face of the organisation with donors, corporates, and partners

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and organisational growth in partnership with the Board
• Act as chief fundraiser and spokesperson, personally engaging with high-level donors
• Develop corporate partnerships and ESG opportunities

• Oversee a ~£1M+ budget and ensure strong financial management

The successful candidate will support and strengthen the delivery of officer-led campaigns and projects, working closely with our five elected Sabbatical Officers. You will help turn their ideas into meaningful change, from coordinating campaign activity and managing deadlines to ensuring officers have the tailored support they need. You will help connect work across the Students’ Union, contributing to campaigns on key issues such as liberation, student rights, fair representation, and intersectionality.
