We are seeking a passionate, connected and well-organised leader, to manage and develop our Church Engagement team and mission with UK churches, networks, community groups and volunteers. The role requires someone who is motivated by their Christian faith and has a passion to inspire and influence the UK Church to show love, strengthen faith and bring joy to millions of people across the Middle East and North Africa.
As we look towards our 30th anniversary, we want to inspire a new generation of churches and individuals to engage with global and local mission; to raise awareness and understanding of the Church in the MENA and to increase engagement, giving and prayer.
The Church Engagement team sits within the External Engagement Department, which covers areas including communications, publications and resources, press and media, digital content and marketing, fundraising appeals, church engagement, events and volunteers. Teams work closely together on shared activities to ensure that the strategy is connected and delivers a coherent public message, maximising every potential opportunity to increase income and deepen understanding and engagement. Other office staff include those focused on operations and finance, as well as a small Development Team engaging with major donors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will allow you to make a real difference to the lives of millions of people in the Middle East and North Africa. You will help to manage, maintain and increase income and engagement through the following key responsibilities:
·Work with the team to implement strategies for growing key areas of income and engagement with churches and individuals, maintaining prospect lists, communicating with churches to resource and increase engagement.
·To manage, motivate and support a diverse team in different geographical locations and working patterns.
·To assist with delivering the church partnership and media projects programme, inviting church leaders and churches to join, helping research, prepare and send project proposals, reports and associated resources.
·To analyse current church giving patterns and identify pathways to increase engagement, levels and forms of giving (including individual giving in conjunction with other team members).
·Support with high-level giving church relationships and work with the Engagement Officer to mobilise ambassadors and volunteers within churches to encourage prayer for the MENA and church giving.
·Oversee SAT-7’s presence at events and conferences to maximise opportunities for engagement and increased reach with existing and new supporters.
·To assist with identifying current and future engagement resources to inspire and mobilise supporter churches and wider opportunities with denominations and Christian networks.
·Lead regular one to ones and promote the process of SAT-7 UK’s personal development plans for team members throughout the year e.g. conducting appraisals and mid-year reviews.

Prostate Cancer Research aims to develop and deliver breakthrough medicines and treatments to achieve a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. The organisation believes that it is only through research that we can build a future in which no family will have to fear losing a loved one to prostate cancer. In the last four years, we have expanded the amount of research it funds by four times.
Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work.
Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and manage strong, impactful relationships.
Finally, candidates must have a passion for securing funding that will help improve the lives of people with prostate cancer and a commitment to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive prospecting and qualification of Trusts & Statutory funding opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential funders.

Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Trust & Foundations and Statutory funding partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR.

Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective funding partners.

Stay informed about PCR’s current and future work and translate larger, complex programmes of work into relevant, compelling funding asks.

Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities.

Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications and reports for both existing and prospective funders.

Develop compelling, high-quality proposals for new and existing programmes, ensuring they are tailored to each funder’s priorities and aligned with organisational objectives.

Lead negotiations and secure funding support from funding partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work.

Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with identified funding partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

Stay informed of industry trends, giving initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities.

Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network, as required.

Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets.

Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.

As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.
You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.
You’ll work closely with teams from across the organisation and our media agency to ensure a truly integrated, collaborative approach. Together with the team, you’ll identify opportunities, apply learnings from past campaigns, and enhance future performance.

About the role:
This role will take the lead in seeking out new opportunities for growth across our membership, including acquisition and retention and will be responsible for developing and implementing new initiatives to reach ambitious targets, as well as ensuring our existing members receive an excellent level of customer service.

Key areas
Fundraising
- Develop and implement LBL’s individual giving fundraising strategy (including one off, cash appeals and regular giving)
- Be responsible for driving up overall regular giving numbers
- Identify new ways to ask for funds; plan, implement and evaluate
- Manage one off appeals including our end of year Big Give appeal
- Manage LBL’s Challenge Events including the Six Items Challenge, Bath Half Marathon London Marathon and Brighton Marathon
- Be the first point of contact for supporters – send out materials if required and build relationships
- Create Meta ads where appropriate
- Oversee our grant fundraising pipeline by identifying new grant opportunities, tracking application deadlines, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely and strategic submission of high-quality grant proposals.
Communications
- Continue a regular giving strategy to generate growth in income and acquisition/retention numbers
- Continue to develop and implement a robust supporter journey
- Create social media assets for fundraising using Canva
- Social media use and update the website (including fundraising pages/posts and donation forms)
Database Management
- Manage the organisation’s database: Beacon
- Take a lead on ensuring data is properly processed, clean and useful for the team
- Manage data entry and updates on our CRM database to maintain up to date records on supporter contact information, attributes, relationships and donations

About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Challenge Events Manager to lead and grow our challenge events programme at The Passage. This new role offers a unique opportunity to shape a new events strategy, inspire supporters, and drive sustainable income.
