This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital communications and creating engaging content for digital and social platforms. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and implementation skills, who will enjoy being creative and using their expertise to enhance SAT-7 UK digital communications. The role is based in Chippenham but flexible working options are available. This is role is a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover.
The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.
Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.
Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, social media and other digital marketing platforms.
Social Media: Work closely with other team members to deliver strong social media content and engagement across various platforms, chiefly Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Marketing: Support the digital marketing of SAT-7 resources and campaigns through social media advertising, external agencies and other channels as required, to engage more deeply with existing supporters and donors, acquire new supporters and to raise funds for SAT-7 UK.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- In all communication ensure consistent messaging, branding and tone of voice for the intended audience and that content conforms to the security and style guides.
- Use Customer Relationship Management systems to ensure efficient and secure storage of information.
- Assist members of the team in responding appropriately to communications from supporters and other organisations.
- Liaise with SAT-7 staff from other offices to share ideas and resources.
- Assist the Digital Communications Manager and represent SAT-7 UK at conferences and events as required.
- At all times operate within relevant statutory requirements and guidelines, following best practice recommendations wherever possible. Specially ensure compliance with the Fundraising Regulator and General Data Protection Regulations.

About the Role

Burnhope Community Centre is a brand-new, purpose-built facility that opened in 2017. Following Covid we have seen substantial growth of our activities and projects that serve our community. We currently run two toddler groups per week, an after-school Kids Club, carpet bowls, a walking group, Pilates, Zumba, Keep moving and other fitness classes. We run a lunch club, bingo nights and several other activities. We have a much-needed Wellbeing Hub to support and signpost people with health issues. Purpose of the role:
To support the Development and Fundraising function of the Trust, developing long term relationships and maximising income. Key responsibilities:
Relationship Development
· Nurture and develop relationships with existing donors, contributing to the collection of monitoring information ensuring continued support and engagement.

Funding and partnership proposals

· Work with the finance team to ensure income regular income reconciliation and forecasting.

Lady Margaret Hall is seeking an Associate Development Director (Major Gifts). This is a senior position within the Development Team reporting to the Director of Development. As a Corporate Partnerships Manager (New Business) you will be responsible for securing new innovative collaborations with a wide variety of corporate companies to support the important work of FareShare including: charity of the year partnerships; commercial brand licensing deals; and multifaceted sponsorships/partnerships. You will work closely with colleagues across the whole of FareShare to create transformational and mutually beneficial relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of securing income/partnerships, within a fundraising/sponsorship/commercial sales environment, as well as experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders to create high-quality proposals. You will be self-motivated with strong organisational skills and an ability to set priorities, manage a prospect pipeline and meet deadlines. We’re looking for a creative relationship builder with strong commercial awareness and an eye for spotting income generating potential. You will be comfortable pitching to potential partners and will lead on negotiating bespoke deals and benefits packages.
You will work closely with the Senior New Business Manager and Officer to improve our ways of working, manage and diversify our pipeline and deliver our ambitious growth strategy.
Main areas of responsibility
- Ensure financial and non-financial targets are achieved by securing new corporate supporters
- Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager and other Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and deliver the wider corporate partner strategy
- Manage and lead a strong pipeline of identifying, researching, prospecting and cultivating potential corporate support
- Working proactively to lead the approach on prospective partners who have the capacity to give £50k and engage them in FareShare and our work
- Create and deliver inspiring and compelling pitches tailored to prospective high value corporate supporters for opportunities such as Charity of the Year, cause related marketing, sponsorship and strategic partnerships
- Deliver cultivation strategies for prospective corporate supporters and monitor their effectiveness
- Devise compelling collateral for prospective corporate supporters including engaging proposals, cases for support and captivating stewardship resources

Person Specification

These roles are focussed on the effective delivery of our fundraising campaigns, Afternoon Tea and wear it pink. Along with the Mass participation team, these roles will play a key part in the planning and execution of campaigns that reach thousands of people and raise millions of pounds each year.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

The Programmes Officer’s role is to coordinate a range of projects relating to the identification and support to children/young people provided with the opportunity to attend boarding and day schools through the bursary programme. You will join a small, close-knit team of 14 staff all passionate about the role that independent and state boarding education can play in lifting the life chances of the most underserved and vulnerable children. Join London Seminary as our new Partnership & Development Manager.
