Job Summary
To manage talent acquisition for the Museum, working with hiring managers to plan and deliver effective campaigns to fill each role with the best possible candidate. To manage and develop a range of materials and systems to support talent acquisition activity.
Main responsibilities
- Be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment pipeline across the Museum (around 150 campaigns per year)
- Work with the HR Business Partners to understand and predict resourcing needs and plan future hiring needs
- Be responsible for the Museum’s candidate marketing materials including the careers site, developing content and working with the Digital team to ensure content is updated regularly
- Work with hiring managers to plan and deliver tailored recruitment campaigns for each role
- Undertake focused research and campaign planning for hard-to-fill and specialist roles to ensure they are filled with appropriately qualified candidates
- Keep abreast of best practice and new developments in talent acquisition, testing and learning new ideas and methodologies to improve our approach
- Liaise with the HR Administrators to ensure vacancies are posted as needed and candidates are moved through the recruitment pipeline. Administer an allocation of campaigns where required during peak periods
- Plan and manage volume recruitment events for front of house roles in conjunction with hiring managers and the HR Advisor
- Develop and deliver a range of selection assessment tools and methodologies to ensure we select the right hires for each role. Sit on interview/assessment panels as required
- Work with the Volunteering Co-ordinator and HR Operations Manager to develop and deliver an effective recruitment service for volunteers
- Manage the recruitment advertising budget ensuring it is deployed where it will deliver the best returns in terms of candidate quality
- Liaise with recruitment and agencies as needed, selecting the best value partners, negotiating rates and managing their service delivery
- Support on Executive Search campaigns where required for senior hires
- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the Applicant Tracking System, liaising with the HR Operations Manager on system developments and improvements
- Work with the managers of proposed externally funded projects to understand potential hiring needs and advise on timing/strategy
- Work with the Head of Inclusion & Organisational Development on strategies to ensure inclusive recruitment and to meet our targets for increasing representation at every level of our workforce
- Work with the HR Operations Manager to develop a suite of management information reports for hiring managers, senior leaders and HR that give insight into campaign performance and candidate diversity. Make recommendations for changes and developments based on insights from this data.
Person Specification
- Significant experience as an in-house recruiter with a successful track record of hiring into key roles
- Experience of a broad range of assessment methodologies and deploying these to select the best candidates for each role
- Experience of developing and implementing assessments against behaviour frameworks
- Experience of coaching hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment campaigns
- Experience with developing candidate attraction materials and communications

We are Chance to Shine: a children’s charity dedicated to harnessing the power of cricket to transform the life prospects of young people in the UK.

2. Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a full time (37.5hrs per week) Executive and Office Assistant to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, governance, HR and general administration. The role is expected to be largely in person in our central London office.
3. Key Responsibilities
The Executive and Office Assistant’s responsibilities are in three areas:
Office Administration:
· Act as ‘front of house’ for visitors and guests and be first point of contact for telephone enquiries and ensure the office space is fully operational.
· Monitor the charity inbox and respond to general enquiries.
· Oversee and monitor the Office and Administration budget.
· Liaise with the office landlord, regarding the general office space, car-parking, meeting rooms and staff access.
· Help manage offsite storage space.
· Administer IT support processes, first point of contact for IT support issues and managing IT supplier contracts; and administering staff IT requirements.
· Maintain up to date shared document area on sharepoint.
· Act as Health and Safety Officer responsible for all Health and Safety matters, and attend training as necessary.
Executive Support
· Support the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT) on organising and following up internal meetings, Board meetings and company wide initiatives.
· Provide governance support to the CEO, Director of Finance and Resources and Trustees.

· Deliver ad hoc administrative support for the CEO and Finance & Resources Department.

HR Support

Role Description
The Programmes Executive plays a key role supporting our community of schools during their time on the programme across the school year. We are also in the process of developing our new 5-year fundraising strategy, so you will be instrumental in creating an ambitious new plan to develop a diverse and sustainable mass fundraising portfolio, covering the key areas of donor acquisition, retention, and growth, with a focus on maximising our Challenge and Community events portfolio, and increasing Legacy, In Memory and Regular giving. Role specifics & Benefits

- Location: We are very flexible! Our hybrid working policy is a minimum of two days per month in our London office unless it’s a role requirement to be in more frequently. We are seeking a well organised and highly motivated Community Archivist to deliver this hugely significant project.
Champs Camp was the first successful Black boxing gym in Britain, with Phil Martin, its founder, the UK’s first Black boxing trainer, manager and promoter. Martin revolutionised British boxing during the 1980s and 1990s, introducing new ways of training and transforming the lives of thousands of young men and boys across Greater Manchester in the process. He deliberately challenged the public association of Moss Side with guns and gangs, helping to produce UK and world champions and make Manchester a centre of the sport.
This project will preserve and make publicly accessible the records of a hugely significant but largely unknown episode in UK Black history. Its legacy will be the preservation of a unique and extensive archive of film, photography, and posters, the collection of a wide-ranging oral history, and the production of a permanent digital archive, accessible to anyone including educators, activists and the wider community.
This role is funded by The National Lottery Fund grant and is run by a partnership of the Moss Side Boxing and Athletics Association (MSBAA) and Manchester Histories, with support from staff at the University of Manchester in History and the Research Data Management Support Service. The role will be located at both MSBAA and the University of Manchester and managed by the Manchester Histories team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Alumni Engagement team who provide support to an alumni base of almost 40,000 contactable alumni of the Sutton Trust programmes. These are generally young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds who move into highly competitive universities, courses and careers. The alumni community has grown rapidly over the past 3 years and now expects around 6-7000 new alumni to join each September. Engagement covers supporting their transition to university and into the workplace through communications, events and programmes. It also spans alumni volunteering, our Alumni Leadership Board, and working with our Development team towards alumni giving.
The role is dynamic and diverse, requiring you to be able to think strategically whilst devising and delivering on operational delivery plans, and we are looking for a confident and experienced team leader during a period of maternity leave.
This role is part of the Programmes Leadership Team and will work closely with the Director of Programmes, Head of Employability Programmes and Head of University Access & Digital on shaping the strategic direction of the team and its programmatic work. The role will also connect closely to the work of the Development Team as we look to devise and implement a segmented alumni giving scheme, as well as the Communications and Policy team, and may evolve to take on new projects over time.
Main duties
- Strategic leadership to alumni engagement, including:
- Embedding alumni relations and programming across the organisation, ensuring alumni are considered or involved in all areas of the Trust’s work
- Managing budget and project timelines to ensure projects are delivered effectively
- Working with the wider programmes team to ensure a smooth transition for Sutton Trust beneficiaries between programmes and the alumni community
- Alumni Engagement and Volunteering:
- Refining and communicating the alumni strategy across the Trust and to donors and external stakeholders
- Growing the Sutton Trust alumni network and developing a long-term strategy for alumni engagement, including communications and events, identifying key areas of focus and setting out benchmarks and KPIs
- Overseeing a suite of volunteering opportunities for alumni to give back to, and represent the Trust in (for example on programmes, with our funder base, in our research and policy work, or to benefit the alumni community)

Person Specification

Congenital Heart Disease affects 1 in 125 newborn babies, it is the most common condition at birth. Around 17,000 babies, children and adults are treated by the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit (LCHU) every year. The LCHU is the specialist heart centre for all of Yorkshire, The Humber, North East Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire.
Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) provide tailored emotional, financial and practical support and essential resources to heart patients and their families. When families need us most, CHSF provide parent accommodation close to the hospital and a dedicated family support service during a child’s treatment. CHSF also provide vital medical equipment and resources to the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit and 19 regional clinics, including start-up NHS staff roles and specialist training across the network.

Job Summary
As Fundraising Researcher you'll be responsible for proactively researching potential funders including corporate foundations and community funds, charitable trusts and other organisations to support our ambitious fundraising team. About You
We’re seeking an ambitious and data-savvy fundraising leader who can think both strategically and creatively.
You will have:
- Significant experience in direct marketing and individual giving at management level.
- Strong leadership credentials with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
- A track record in delivering successful donor acquisition and retention campaigns.
- Exceptional understanding of supporter engagement, CRM systems, and compliance including GDPR.
- Experience in developing innovative products and donor propositions, ideally in a healthcare or charity setting.
