Big Creative Education Foundation is looking for an experienced Fundraiser to help unlock the support needed to create new opportunities for young people entering the creative industries.
You’ll lead trust and foundation applications, develop new funding opportunities, and build relationships with partners who share our ambition to open more doors into industry.

Purpose of the role:
The Part-Time Fundraiser will lead on developing and delivering early-stage fundraising activity for BCEF, helping to secure income from a range of sources including trusts and foundations, individual donors, corporate partners, and events.
This role suits a proactive, experienced, organised fundraiser who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and working closely with a board of trustees in a growing organisation, recognising, understanding and promoting its primary objects.
Big Creative Education Foundation Charitable Objects are:
- Advancement of education and training for the public benefit, particularly (without limitation) in the creative arts and in digital skills; and
- Relief of need arising from disadvantage, particularly (without limitation) by providing and increasing opportunity in relation to education and training. (“Objects”).
Key Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities:
Fundraising Strategy & Development
- Support the development and delivery of a realistic and sustainable fundraising plan
- Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with the Foundation mission
- Contribute to income targets and pipeline planning
- Identify seed funding opportunities to support operational growth
Trusts, Foundations & Grants
- Research and apply to relevant trusts, foundations, and grant-makers
- Draft high-quality funding applications, proposals, and reports
- Track deadlines, outcomes, and reporting requirements
Individual Giving & Corporate Support
- Support the development of individual giving and corporate fundraising opportunities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with donors and supporters
- Assist with stewardship and donor communications
Events & Campaigns
- Support planning and delivery of small-scale fundraising events or campaigns
- Help develop creative fundraising ideas that reflect the organisation’s values
Monitoring & Administration
- Maintain accurate fundraising records and income tracking
- Support impact reporting and evidence collection for funders
- Ensure fundraising activity meets relevant legal and ethical standards
- Report into the board of trustees and Foundation advisors with regular updates
- Attend board meetings and produce board reports

You will be joining a fantastically motivated and committed team of home workers who are all passionate about improving the lives of young people through our specialist youth programmes.Your role will be to support a portfolio of events, develop compelling content and generate awareness of JET’s mission and impact to engage new and existing supporters and inspire them to give and/or fundraise for us. the role is temporary for six months with potential for permanent employment.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting or delivering fundraising activity across multiple income streams, developing and delivering communications plans and content across multiple channels with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Role
We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to make daily collections from our food partners in the Midlands region and deliver to warehouses across the West and East Midlands. This role is most suited to individuals with an aptitude for driving, who have excellent customer service skills combined with a professional attitude, as you will be dealing directly with our customers as a representative of FareShare Midlands.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the Supply Chain Team to collect surplus food from partners and deliver to the right regional centre.
- Provide excellent customer service to food partners in person and by phone, offering a highly professional impression of the charity in a friendly manner.
- Adhere to all laws, Road Transport Regulations and HGV Working Time directives.
- Support the Supply Chain Team by collecting stock offered from the food industry and delivering it to Regional Centres in a timely fashion, communicating ETAs and delays.
- Maintain records of collections and allocations e.g. provide paperwork and temperature readings to the Regional Centres on delivery.
- Identify any barriers or opportunities and feedback any developments or challenges e.g. delays, maintenance concerns, instruction errors, etc.
- Ensure deliveries follow the assigned order, the routes are planned appropriately in the given timescale and all delivery windows are met safely.
- Highlight and respond quickly to any anticipated delays or difficulties, using problem solving skills to mitigate any unforeseen circumstances e.g. taking breaks while queueing or changing the order of collections subject to permission from the Supply Chain Team.
- Ensure the quality of the product delivered is accurate against notes, making detailed visual inspections and flagging any concerns or discrepancies before the vehicle is loaded.
- Strengthen existing relationships by providing a reliable and friendly service.
- Adhere to all health and safety and operational requirements at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, serviced and cleaned to a high standard.
- 6 am to 3 pm shifts & occasionally 7am to 4pm shifts.
This position will involve handballing and lifting with the provision of lifting equipment. You may be required to complete other duties as requested to suit the needs of the charity. Some work on Saturdays with notice will be required.
Person Specification
Essential
- Class 2 UK Driving License – (Not more than 3 points & at least 2 years of previous experience is required).
- A valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Required to undertake heavy lifting with suitable equipment
- Health and Safety awareness
- Customer service and communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Able to use a Smart Phone including apps such as What’s App, Sat Nav and E-mail.
- Good Midlands geographic knowledge
Preferred
- Clean License & more than 5 years of HGV driving experience.
- Experience delivering chilled or frozen food
